  1. Waiting for my EGA I took my time and enjoyed reading these forums, the whining, the hopes, the rage and the exaltation. At first I was enraged that I did not get EGA, then I realized it was not rage, but impatience for this great game.

Also took my time and watched for the 1000th time, the Star Wars movies.

Just finished watching Star Wars: A New Hope.

This movie hit the theaters about 1 year before I was born. 34 years ago.

34 years ago some of you, were watching the movie, while some of you were asking (probably raging like some of us do today on the forums) at the ticket booth when is the next show for which they have tickets available...

34 years later we have TOR.

This proves SW lore is part of the international culture. And will most probably still be with our children and our grandchildren.

I look forward beginning my saga. I KNOW IT'S WORTH THE WAIT!!!!

  2. Well, judging from the fact that in every mmo russians are a big percent of the customer mass, they should be able to use Cyrillic at least in guild/party chat.

Ever played EVE Online? Just look on the internet at EVE plitical map. Half of the EVE universe is controlled by russians. I'd say that around one third of the player mass are russians.

  3. To be fair to everyone, wipe the servers clean, fresh start for all, and begin on the 15th as originally planned.

Dec 15th servers open as planned, except all preorders are given access. This is the best way to solve this trainwreck of an early access.

This is the ONLY chance Bioware has to redeem itself, else go down in gaming history among the epic fails, and this one is true darwin launch. In order to prevent a situation where a lot of players are unable to play due being in server queues, they created a system that left the vast majority of players STUCK IN QUEUES with unknown wait times, waiting for their game access to be turned on. They've chosen by far the greater of two evils.

And when dec 20th comes around, with the current system they're probably going to end up with queues and server crashing anyway. How dumb.

    No. Just no!!!!

  4. I was in here for 10 minutes, I can't take all the constant whining.

Quite frankly, no normal human can. You're all a bunch of lunatics to be this upset about something so trivial. Please seek help. Goodnight.

I'm a Sith.. I feed on their whining and suffering..

Experience the true nature of the dark side.. ;)

  5. I fully agree with you.

It's 10:19 AM in Eastern Europe. I will start working late night at 22:00.

I see empty servers and lots of people waiting for their access.

This proves me that in life, there is no balance, only extremes: some at launch flood the servers making launch day unplayable and frustrating, Bioware trying to avoid that kept the servers way underpopulated.

Can't there be a middle path???:(

  6. It's been clear since the day pre-orders came out that EGA would be handed out on a first come, first served basis. Had you really wanted the full amount of EGA time, you would have pre ordered day 1 like a lot of us.

I would have pre-ordered day 1 if I could. But it took EA 6 weeks to allow citizens from certain countries to pre-order..

  7. I have greatest respect and confidence in Bioware.

Only problem I see is that right now all servers are low/standard population. There was/is room for more people and I expected that the waves would be continuous (working in shifts and so).

Also I expected that the early access would be something like when they held the open betas. Mail you in advance the time when you would be able to play.

Biggest concern with the people is uncertainty. If people had received mails stating something like "Your early access starts December 16 at 21:00 GMT", we would have seen less complaints.
