  1. Save your monthly CCs rather than frittering them away. Problem solved.

that would require nearly a years worth of CC to to change all my char's just fyi.

    795 x 8 = 6360 CC's (795 CC was even with Sub discount when I looked last night)

at 600 CC's a month I can "fix" all my characters in 11 months, that's a bit long to save isn't it? And that assumes i'v subbed for 11 months with no break.

And to be honest I don't mind paying money to change them I just don't wanna fork over roughly 63$ to do it

And yes i'd have to do it to all of them as I like to play my "toons" as the same character in a different class, rather then have multiple unique "toons" but I know that's just me being an oddball:D I'f it cost say 20$ to do it to all of them, then i'd have done it already ;)

Good to know SW:TOR's race change is cheaper than wow's, but that doesn't tell me why its so high in the 1st place, want to know the real reason is all, my honest guess is "because they can" which isn't the best reason, but if that was really their reasoning well then so be it who am I to argue :p

  2. Just curious as to why it costs so much, (795 CC if I remember correctly)

I'd love to swap all my characters out to cathar, but it's not worth doing for 70$ give or take :(

could re-roll I suppose, but I just got most of them above 40 and don't fancy doing it again.

I'll be keeping my eye's open for a 70% off sale lol!

  3. I chose Lilium because it's the name of a song that I know and love, would probably change it to Canaan though if I got to re-name my legacy, fits better with my characters names, all being variations of Jenn lol

    Jenn-krath Lilium VS Jenn-krath Canaan

Stupid server merge is why I add'd krath to all my characters names, all the variations of Jenn were taken >_>

  4. Which they bring upon themselves by not trusting you, so they brainwash you. They brought about that which they feared. :p

    Trippy

  5. I agree with you on the ability to get elite comm gear solo although I wouldn't characterize it as being "dead nuts simple" or as least any simpler than people running in groups. But your questions aren't really fair either. People strive to aquire things all the time that they really have no use for. The act of striving for and aquiring them is the end goal all in itself. Why should this be different in a game? You infer that wanting something you can't use isn't logical? Perhaps so, but then human beings are only rarely logical and almost never in games as one can surmise by simply reading the subject lines of many SWTOR forum posts.

You use Logical twice, that's 2x more then most people on these forums! Are you a Vulcan

    Live long and prosper! :p

  7. Can you please allow the grey Helix's to be traded and sold as well as the rep tokens, this benefits the players that have had this event buy letting them make some nice creds, while at the same time allowing players that haven't had a chance at the event yet buy buying other peoples event items :D

I didn't get a chance to try the event out yet as real life issues kept me away, the event is only 1 week this time around and I only have 1 55, i'd like to buy the weps for all my characters, and have already saved 2.1m so I can buy 8 sets of gear. Only problem is I wont have enough rep to buy the gear or the weps with a 12k rep per week restriction, since this time it's only running for 1 week:(

Or at least make the gear and weps tradable, that works too!

  8. I also have 1 of each class (and AC) and the best advice i can give you is to focus on getting one to 55 first, then

just lvl up alts, do a few daily's on your 55. This way your main starts building comms while you lvl.

Then when the Gree event comes back (soon) make sure to get 1 full set of the Legacy Bound gear (200k at most).

If you miss the event no worries you can either wait for the next event OR dish out 1.3m creds for Legacy gear. Now that you have your legacy gear you can now gear your alts using your mains comms the second they hit 55 :D

I will also add, that the more 55's you have the faster you can gear.

Example1: 8 lvl 55's means you can run the OPs weekly 8 times, and once all 8 toons can buy 1 peice of gear you can just rip mods and send them via Legacy gear BAM 1 toon is now done with endgame grade gear :p

Example2: Need credits? you can run blackhole 8 times (4 hours roughly) with roughly 80k per toon that's 640k daily! There are better ways to make creds of course, I just love alts
