Love it. I like the event overall, except that companion customs shouldn't be random.

2k is a lot to you? Really, just quit and go away.
It is early on, but... just ask someone for a vaccine. Really, 2k is spare change for level 50s, and if you died once, you have 5 DNA that people will happily buy off you.
-
Nope.
Don't worry, the reward isn't anything special - 5 vaccines and just under 5k credits.
-
Indeed, selling one set of 5 DNA from exploding will net you enough to buy immunity for the next three days >.>

Well, you know. When the elite of the Republic ignore a quarantine order and all...you'd think the Empire would be a mite more ruthless.
I sorta wish that at "Feverish" friendly NPC's would go hostile and gun you down. It'd be so appropriate!
The Dark Council is participating in the explody parties. No quarantine officer has the balls to interfere (or the health to survive).

Those I've seen on Fleet didn't look like that picture.. more like whiteish full fledged Rakghouls.. spines and all
Really? Companion custom, or was that a rakghoul pet? Or Dr. Lokin, who can do that (with sufficient loyalty)?
-
Ah, thank you.
I think I'll pass... I was kind of hoping for a transition-phase look, complete with spines.
-
Dammit, with it being random I'm liable to get one for one of the six classes I DONT have at 50... want to know if it's worth trying...
-
For those of us who like to mix and match. Is it possible to make the "skirt" part a belt piece or something, so we don't have awful clipping with half the other social sets?
-
Or get infected and sell your DNA for a bunch of money
This. Could be a valuable influx to a lowbie.
-
Does anyone have a picture of what these look like?
-
You need to use their Heroic moment ability and first and then the legacy ability immediately after that.
Doesn't need to be immediately, you just need to be in Heroic Moment. Which nicely locks them out of PvP use.
The funny thing is, my Sith Assassin gave me Force Storm. Which isn't an Assassin skill to begin with!

Awesome, THANKS !! I've been thinking about my Legacy name since I first heard about it, couple of months ago. I went with "Preatoru", as that fits with all my pseudo-Latin "first" names, and means "I own you"...
Should be very approprite for Sith, Trooper, and Hunter. I'll try the box-vendor next time I pass through the fleet.
Thx again !
It's not on the fleet - you have to travel to Kass or Coruscant.
The reward items are level 14 and level... 30ish I think.

If knights/warriors cold not effectively use vibroblades I would agree, but they can use vibroblades with no downsides sooo yeah either
1) You are correct (in which case Bioware phails for playing favorites)
2) It is a ridiculous mistake/oversight
Yeah... I think Bioware put it under 2.
In any case, its annoying, I can have a warrior run around with giant swords, but I can't get anything of the sort for an assassin.
They could at least give us the vibrostaves from KotoR.

... of force cloak not working.
It's horribly unreliable in PvE. Half the time when you use it enemies just keep attacking you and break your cloak.
Can't count how many times I've died because I couldn't escape a fight properly.
-
Religion and politics all in one quote. Wow!
I think the correct response is where you find the latter, you're sure to find the former.
-
Well played.
-
Yep, another PT tank here. I'm almost entirely into Columi, so I have little incentive to play him... I already have the full set bonus and more than enough defense/HP to run EV on normal.
-
Yeah, as has been said before, let your wife pick, then choose something complementary.
BH/Trooper are probably the easiest classes to play overall due to starting in heavy armor, and can specialize into any role. Sage/Sorcerer can also do anything in the end, but are much less durable.
In particular, BH probably has it the easiest of anyone because they get a healer for their first companion. They get to just shrug everything off because they'll have defenses on par with tanks for the first 13 levels too.
I did this pretty much with my brother (Though, since he's an avid gamer, I just picked something else I wanted that started in the same place - we just used massive DPS a lot of the time to get through heroics and stuff, but since SW and BH get early healers, we were set fast anyways)

Yeah, a Krayt Dragon needs to be added as a level 50 boss on Tat. I know it's like double Tat's normal level range, but just extend the Dune Sea a bit and smack it down.
-
They should at least add a discount to the price for higher legacy levels or something then.
Should someone with legacy level 20 and two 50s (who are both common races) be as restricted as someone who just hit legacy 5?
Honestly, the earlier discussion from the guild summit had led me to expect a sufficiently high legacy level would be enough on its own. I'm not swimming in credits. Sure, I could go spam stuff to earn cash, but I'd rather that my legacy level alone would be enough to let me do an oddball combination.
Probably the biggest issue here is cross-faction races. It's particularly unreasonable to expect a imp player to roll a republic char and get to 50, just to unlock Miralian for their imperial chars. They need to consider this some - hitting 50 is not trivial.
-
A level 50 human should be good for one race unlock of choice... because otherwise all of us who rolled human get nothing for hitting 50.
Hopefully the credit cost for race isn't too much... because I was really looking forward to rolling Miraluka Sniper or something... and all my chars are imps. Mostly human. One cyborg. Yeah...
I had thought that racial unlocks were going to be Race to 50 OR Legacy level X OR credit price, not Race to 50 OR (Legacy level X AND credit price).

Am sorry to say but the minimum specs for this game are no where near a new computer the specs are a few years old the game already caters for low end machines and is constantly trying to cater for more but I would not hold your hopes up for 1.2.
I run this on medium settings without issue... on a laptop that's a couple years old.

Sith assassin is more sexy. Isn't that all that matters?
Lightning. LIGHTNING. LIGHTNING!!!!!
Although to be fair, Assassin is heavy on the melee attacks.... Thrash is central to Madness dps (Thrash getting +50% crit damage, procs Raze, and higher melee crit chance), and Maul is central to Deception.
Of course, Darkness is light on melee endgame, since you want to be using mainly Shock and Wither for Harnessed Darkness stacks... but that's only after level 40 (since you REALLY need Wither to make the most of the Harnessed Darkness talent... Shock is EXPENSIVE).
What planet is your favorite, aesthetically speaking?

Alderaan is all-around beautiful.
But I like Hoth too, for austere beauty.
