I have found turning slightly to be helpful there, so you aren't facing the ledge head on, but have a bit more of the ground in front of you.
We shouldn't have to be this meticulous when going into cover.

It's plain and simple, PvP'ers do not want some re-skinned existing mount for their ranked PvP mount.
I, as well as many other members of the PvP community, are going to be thoroughly disappointed if the same model displayed on the too-pic is the same model provided.

As a PVPer, I wasn't joking when I said I would unsub due to the removal of rated PvP in 1.2. I unsubscribed shortly after that announcement, and now I'm slapped on the wrist because of these shoddy patches and updates.

Yes, I have dropped Biochem and picked up Armormech. Exotech Skills Stims are better than rakata and are able to be traded, warzone adrenals beat power adrenals, and warzone medpacks are better than it's rakata counterpart as well. Biochem only have viability if you want to save money.

Patch notes for 1.2 PTR says that War Hero gear requires ranked commendations AND the BM counterpart.
I'm happy.

Going to get a lot of hate for this, but I don't think it should be hard to get War Hero Gear, Gear=/=Skill.
No hate here, your statement is definitely true.
At the moment, gear is the only "bragging rights" of a high ranking PVP player. I guess I would be a little more happy if they gave us other things to show off besides gear.

I don't think there is any info about it other than that it will be purchasable with ranked WZ comms.
Whether it requires some sort of minimum personal rating to attain (like WoW), whether it'll be a huge grind just in the number of comms needed, whether winners will get them at a much faster rate than losers...no info on any of it yet I believe.
During the guild summit, they mentioned that rating will only affect the gear color, not the ability to use it.

Don't get me wrong, I had fun. But I wouldn't think Bioware would implement a change that would completely nullify the use of Cent/Champ/BM gear.

BW stated Valor is just a prestige stat.
I doubt there will be gear exclusive for Valor 70+.
And I'm glad for that change. But what will establish exclusivity for War Hero gear if it doesn't require a rating?

I'm concerned about some of the information regarding the new War Hero tier of gear coming in 1.2. Supposedly there is going to be no valor requirement for the gear, no rank requirement, and only need to gain ranked commendations to wear it. So my question lies here, what is going to make War Hero gear exclusive? I'm worried too many players are going to skip Cent, Champ, and BM gear completely and move on to Hero gear without much effort. What preventative measures are going to be in place to keep players from gaining the gear easily. Being 70 valor (95% from Warzones) and having full Battlemaster gear i'm worried that my effort put into the game the last months are going to be in vain.
Is there any further clarification as to what will be required to gain and wear the War Hero tier of gear?

I find it awkward to use the pinky for shift. I have always used my left ring finger.
On the game pad I use it's too far out the way for that kind of reach.

Ill be working on my videos in the near future. I am not big into editing, but I will try and trim out the uninteresting and add music and such.

Another note I made watching your clips is, that you don't use the enviroment to cover your back. Use walls columns etc. to your benefit. it's not always neccessary or possible, but you often for no apparent reason leave your back wide open when taking cover, which can quickly make you an easy kill for any good player/team worth their salt.
Haven't thought about it much. Ill take this into account.

Clicking your abilities is a huge limitation on pvp (and pve, really), ESPECIALLY such important ones as cover>pulse!
Obviously you don't do it all the time but there was one near the start for example that just left me scratching my head.
It a nasty habit. I don't have use of my pinky so I'm not able to Shift-Click abilities.

Is there a reason why you avoid using the rifle shot (that costs no energy) while you are running? It may not be much, but it all counts in total.
Also, getting in the middle of the arena open is a really bad idea unless you are in a well coordinated pre-made team.
Otherwise, I enjoyed watching your gameplay.
This was with a premade team, and for the most part, center control is my job.
I will try and use rifle shot more often in the future. Thanks for the comments.

Not exactly a true. It's just that the OP had a competent team against a bunch of incompetent players who outright ignored the sniper most of the fight. And in contradiction to a popular belief of snipers and maras being the bottom of the pvp barrel, snipers are actually just as damaging(if not more) as good arsenal mercs.
On a side note, the OP barely used his root-big mistake. Sniper's root is ultimate survival/finisher u-die-here-and-nao move.
I really had no use for leg shot in this match. I had no issues controlling most people and most people that I targeting were killed. They never got the huttball to our rafters. I see legshot Legshot is more of a single target control ability.
