  1. Just to verify one suggestion:

I installed Hotspot Shield VPN. I can now launch and log into the game. TunnelBear is no longer free. This one is, but they do the "Oh, let's sign you up for a 7-day free trial of our premium service and let's just take your credit card info in case you forget to cancel" thing. For me? Being able to play is worth the price of reminding myself to cancel once this issue is resolved.

I may try this once I get to my laptop inside with a better connection. One question? Do you have Discord?

  2. So, I've been able to do this quest on three characters, a Sage, Sorcerer, and a Mercenary. Unfortunately, my mate, whom is a 54 Juggernaut has not been able to successfully complete it at all. He's tried Solo, we've tried with my 55 Sorcerer healing but here is the dilemma we're having:

Even if I heal my healing companion isn't staying close enough to me to heal me so that I can heal my mate, NOR is Talos Drellik staying in my line of sight so that I can heal him if necessary.

I heard that the quest is bugged and that the klor slugs in the quest are supposed to come in waves and not all at once.

I have yet to finish any of the ending heroics for the seeker droid/macrobinocular quests and I'd really like it if my mate and I could get some help on this. Either a detailed strategy (cause kiting simply ain't working if he can't burn them down fast enough and healing companions aren't staying close enough to heal properly) or possibly managing a large group with people who have done this before and can successfully get him thru this.

Please no criticism, we already know we suck. I would just like to get him thru this so we can do our heroics together, and hunt for our dread seed armor together. Please hit up Dirty'Flirty or Dirty'Dirty.

  3. I'm a young mom with not much time on my hands but the person below me says it ALL... Quoted For Efficiency!!! Maybe Endor or Mustafar.

I would like Naboo. I think it it has a lot of room for development. It has lush green fields, architecture that is interesting, underwater areas, swamps, and places to expand those motifs.

Bespin would be fun too. Cloud City would be interesting as would the chance to explore the land below we never see in the films.

Kashyyyk would be great. The tree house city would be fun as would the chance to fight the wildlife there.

  4. You almost lost me Bioware. hahaha.. seriously thou, the next Mini-Game idea that comes floating around the conference table should include a that wonderful game of Pazaak from KOTR.

And by mini game I mean a smartphone "app" linked to my in game credits.

Long story short, you got me good.

    Cheers

There IS the technology in this btw -- afterall there is Fable Coin Golf that sends your gold that you make to your Fable III games (with the choice between PC and Xbox360).

I think this would be a great idea. Lets just make sure its marketed to all smartphones and not just the ones that the authenticator app is made for. I have a WP7 and no authenticator for me.

And Mr. Stephen Reid -- This joke was taken too far. I would have been fine with it had one thing NOT have happened - The @SWTOR twitter team making followers look (and potentially feel) like crap for not believing in ShipDroid. I don't know if you take care of the @SWTOR twitter account or not, so I'm not going to direct my grievances towards you. I do want to thank you for not replying to my tweets asking for verification. In that you have earned my trust. I happen to be one of the few housebound players here who suffers from health issues so my means of fun and socializing are video games and facebook. Again -- thanks!!

  5. One day a company will realise that the biggest joke would be to actually include the content.

Quoted For Truth as my twitter feed supports the reality of Ship Droid:

    The Old Republic ‏ @SWTOR

@golemite Glad to see you're just as excited as we are! Some people think it's a joke, which is sad. We should have released it sooner! :(

    The Old Republic ‏ @SWTOR

@The_Stargazer Oh my, it IS April 1st! We chose an awful day to announce this amazing new feature that is in no way a joke at all!

    The Old Republic ‏ @SWTOR

@OldZandar April Fools? We would never joke about the very serious subject of the Ship Droid Experience!

    The Old Republic ‏ @SWTOR

@TheMc_Cracken What do you mean? Of course it's real! We're all looking forward to it and we hope you are too. :)

I really wish a dev would come in and get this squared up, but considering what the SWTOR Twitter team is saying I support the reality of this upcoming minigame.

  6. I asked Stephen Reid if it was an April Fools joke and later in the day he posted this on his twitter:

    Stephen Reid ‏ @Rockjaw

Something tells me we may have messed up the timing on the #ShipDroid announcement.

This leads me to believe that it just might be a real announcement.
