I wanted to post something like this as well. I too would like to see a statue of Carrie Fisher (not Leia, since she isn't alive yet) but maybe on the Fleet.

I started KotFE with my Bounty Hunter after 5.0 and my old companions are still there as well. They are on the ship, can be send on (crafting) missions and can be summoned. Bug or feature?

Update: relogging did not help. Ctrl + U, on the other hand, did restore my UI after a few seconds and got me able to function and start the chapter.
The chapter seems to start without the UI glitch if you travel to Odessen and enter the war room manually instead of teleporting with the "press play to launch" teleport.

It should be available. Open Companions window (N), click on Blizz you'll see details on Blizz on the right side - upper right corner is a button "travel to location". If there is no description on Blizz visible, extent window by pressing the arrow.
Hope this helps
