tried it again several times tonight, cannot get past this guy. I kept looking for when he's calling his precious nanoshield healer..it doesnt say (that i saw) when he's casting/calling it. How the heck can i interrupt something that i dont know when it's coming?

Maybe this is why I see so many requests lately for this heroic!
That's the other way around it: ask someone to group. But a couple of bewares:
1) If you do get someone, you probably have to reset the phase. When I've joined folk, I can't get off the platform, so they have to come back, and eventually exit the instance.
2) The subsequent H4 really does require 4 people since it has some puzzles all the way through it. So, you'll have to group for that one anyway.
3) And having done that, you WILL be able to get the Star Fortress hidden achievement done (I'm guessing that is why you are so persistent!). BUT (small spoiler alert)...
... you won't get the finale to the Shroud story unless you got the old HK-55 bonus chapter subscriber reward (apparently it is in that story).
i had thought last night of asking for someones help, i hate to bother people though cause everyone has their own thing to do..and actually i didn't know about the star fortress acheivement..i don't normally go for those things..i'm the kind of fella who wants to follow through on missions and finish what i started..then move on to the next mission...hk 55 bonus chapter finished? ..i think i have that mission but havent even started that yet...i think?

I have no advice but I'd like to give props to teabags for the great effort in trying to actually do this on their own and spending time to figure it out *before* coming here. A rarity these days.
Most people try these things once and then immediately come in here screaming for nerfs cuz they can't one-shot bosses or have used a token to insta-level and haven't actually learned how to play.

Thanks mate, i always try to do things myself..once i get my teeth in something i want to finish it..i have tons of missions on my list but i'm doing this one and want to finish it before going on to the next..and thanks for the appreciation

Thanks for this, most of the time i cannot get far enough away from that mine he drops but once in a while i can avoid the explosion...i was killing his nanoshield thing..but i guess i'll try and just interrupt..i only seem to have 2 or 3 interrupts and he seems to have a lot of things to interrupt...i'll give it a shot

Ok, i've been away a while..couple of years easily..so it takes a while to get back into the swing of things..but i've fought this character Maki'voro easily 15 times in the last 28 hours..and i cannot get this bugger down past what..30 percent?..my companion either keeps dying cause of all the damned drones...or i get blown off the sodding barge..or companion gets blown of the sodding barge..or we both get blown off....either way my companion dies..then i die..ANYONE know a way past this guy..i've heard a bunch say..oh that's easy..he's easy etc etc.
Well i know im rusty etc, but after about 15 mins tonight i still died..so any advice is welcome, guess i'll get flamed now

Thanks everyone for the responses, guess they don't care about fixing glitches to make sure they make money? that seems weird to me but i will go with the amazon option..and yeah..you apparently get free stuff haha

Ok so i see a few people had this issue last year of getting a processing failure please try again error, i have gotten this 3 times in the last week or so..what gives? tried different browsers, clearing cache etc..but still error..tells me to CALL customer service??? wth

I wish i could say the same, i'm taking a break from the game..i just don't have the enthusiasm now..i've cancelled my subscription..4 days too late for the resub..but after that i'll be FTP/preferred or whatever..i'm not hating on the game..not insulting..not angry, just a lot of changes that at least some i don't like..i havent played in a few weeks..and apparently now even more changes..changes to companions a nerfing i guess. Not sure how that affects things..maybe i'll have a look before my sub expires, i don't know..there's been a lot of anger and hatred on the forums lately..and i've felt some of it but i've moved past it to ..i don't know..disappointment i guess.
There's not a lot of response from certain people and too much from others, I've grown accustomed to choice in my life..choice in what i eat, drink, clothes, tv, films, music and games..everything really. A lot of these changes have been shoved down our throats..at least that is what it feels like and it's left distaste in my mouth. Like i said, no hate or anything..just right now not for me hopefully things will balance out more later and the devs decide let's try and keep as many people as happy as can be and offer choice if not..oh well.
Anyway i have some time before sub expires and i'll probably/maybe play some more before it ends and i'll keep an eye on the game and maybe come back later. I hope everyone has fun and hope everyone relaxes a bit more and since it's just a game have fun no matter what you do

Finished my unique class quest. I have Kotfe unlocked from another char - should I just start chapter 1 or do everything through Ziost first? I've seen the storyline already through Ziost on my main.
hold off on KOTFE for as long as possible..DO EVERYTHING you want as much as you want first

Companions could do that before being well geared. Next? Oh btw, It is not getting nerfed.
actually beforehand there wasn't a guarantee that companions could solo a lot of stuff..now, it's an almost certainty. Companions SHOULD be put back to the way they were..it makes for more challenging gameplay story

Not necessarily true, to be honest. In the past, and recently, I've gotten tickets responded along the lines of what the OP has given, and my most recent one being along the lines of, "check the patch notes to see if there will be a fix," before my ticket was "solved"
you know if i did the same sort of shoddy "solving" in my job, i'd be hauled onto the carpet and read the riot act

Come on guys. Its been 4 days since i made my ticket. I've had 1 automated response that did literally nothing except say "i hope your issue is now resolved" and auto closed my ticket without solving anything. I made a new 1 and its been 3 days since it went up and ive had no response at all. All i want is some items recovered that i accidentally deleted while clearing my inventory. Can i get some assistance please?
yeah join the queue, massive amounts of tickets cause they screwed up royally with this patch

It's a glitch/exploit. I took a few guildies on an adventure to Tython last night, but I won't post the process involved here. If you're keen to find it just go check out the SWTOR reddit. It's posted a few times over there. Just know that it wasn't intentional on EA's part and I'm sure they'll have it patched asap.

So I got through KotFE twice now with two characters making polar opposite choices. And there was really no difference by chapter 9 in outcome. The same characters died, the same characters were saved regardless of what choices I made, and in the end, it all was about the same. I really hope that with the introduction of new chapters the choices I made in KotFE have an actual impact, because the whole selling point of this expansion was "your choices matter", and so far, they don't , at all. You can be the most evil bastard in the galaxy and the nicest white knight on the planet and the outcome is nigh identical. I really enjoyed the story, I really did, but if the choices don't have a serious impact by the end of the future releases, the replayability will be just about 0.
Also, for the people that have imp and republic characters, don't bother playing a light side imp and a light side pub, or a dark side imp and a dark side pub, there is no difference with factions except for one alliance mission.
i havent started KOTFE so i dont know, but i have been reading that companions don't join you or they actually get killed off?..not even sure i want to do KOTFE

I updated my initial post. Bug report is just that. It reports the bug and probably sticks it on a list of things that need attention. It may get looked at, it may not, but from what I can tell, that is the function of that category.
so i guess try the mission option..maybe they'll actually deign to grace my ticket with a human response and actually help a player

Did you use "Bug Report" as the ticket category? I would suggest making another ticket and use anything other than that. Bug Report is automatically closed and they are notified, but that is it. Another category will get you in touch with a CS representative.
I'll give it a shot, but every ticket should be looked at by a human being and if need be responded to..just automtically closing tickets without helping people is a stupid policy

As i said i hate to ask this, hate the begging stuff but i gotta get past this guy..and i can never get him past 30 percent before my companion is blown off the ship and i die not too long after..i've tried interrupting his healer drone but it just doesnt say when he's calling it..or i miss it every time..i've tried not killing that drone then attacking him again..and then just concentrated on the drones at that point and then going after him again after the healing drone leaves..but none of it has worked for me.
Noone says yes no biggie i understand
