Thought so too, but some people got charged full amount on the day they pre-ordered apparently.

 

No, people just weren't paying attention. Bank account would show full order price as pending right after the order but after a day or two it would just be the $5 fee. If they look back the rest of the money dropped off and they will be charged the $80 for the game when it comes out.
