  1. I think you have missed the point, though sadly these days that appears to be par for the course.

The reason people are not hitting their weekly targets is That they don't care. In case you missed it they don't care,

Conquest is not conquest in any meaning of the word. Conquest is a score board where more guild members equals easier to get on it and top it. There is no conquest involved none of the planets have been conquered. Instanced PvP, GSF, flashpoints and Operations may get points to conquest but they have nothing to do with conquering the planet.

Crafting war supplies that you sell for credits and related npc killing or heroics likewise has nothing to do with conquering the planet. People aren't interested in hitting their conquest target or investing the time cause its repeating in some cases 4 year old content.

And for what some Jawa Junk some xp that I can't use, some credits that costs less than the crafting supplies and if Im in a guild part of a guild ship which is the only possible reason and even that who cares if you have an extra hanger on the ship it doesn't change anything.

The reason less people than you hoped are hitting the conquest targets is because conquest was just offering points to old content. Its dull and I imagine the majority of people that hit it do so by accident of alreading running pvp matches or out of an addiction that its something to do in the game after so little content has been added for the last 6 months.

Honestly do you think that the problem with a scoreboard is that its too hard to get points but then take away an easy repeatable method of grinding those points afk.

    This is worth repeating.

  2. Just to reconfirm it, - it works if you do it with someone who does not have the quest.

After missing it for 2 weeks, I finally managed to get it.

There were two of us, but only I had the quest.

False History was my 3rd quest in Stage 1 and Landing Party was 1st in Stage 2.

Also I completed bonus objectives in both quests just in case.

The achievement ticked right after finishing Landing Party.

So if you have the bug, like I had, this workaround does help.

PS: If you need a "questless assistant" on The Red Eclipse, I can help - Avionius or Tholn in game.

  3. So did you manage to get it after all?

I'm in the same boat as OP.

Two times in a row I've missed/messed this particular part of the achievement.

First week there were 3 of us in the group for False History. Maybe that was wrong.

This week there were 2 of us, but we did not complete the bonus objective during False History.

Both times that achievement was not marked after finishing Landing Party.

Looking forward to try it again next week... sigh.

  4. So you're saying that a port to consoles is all but 'confirmed' now...right?

But of course! It's all so clear now!!

there are other sets without bracers

Exactly! What other proof do you need?

  5. Oh, I'd like to use this opportunity to prophesize some more! ;)

In KotFE the bracers slot is going away. Probably some other slots too, to keep the UI symmetrical.

    Because:

It is intentional that the Zakuul Armor Set does not include Bracers.

    -Tait

Or maybe it's already official info and I just missed it.

  6. The Red Eclipse server.

Since last 2 weeks the lag gets worse by the day.

Now I can't even play, as I lose connection and get dropped to server selection screen.

My Internet connection bandwith is 30 Mb/s.

I have no such issues with any other online services. So I have to conclude the issue is server side.

Would you kindly look into this matter?

  7. ...fun fact: Hannibal almost conquered Rome through strategic brilliance... and dude also lost an eye during the invasion...

He did not lose his eye in battle. Neither was he waving sword on the front line.

Besides, considering punicians were a trade empire that mostly used mercenaries, they are more similar to the Hutts if anything.

  8. Can't agree more with you Henu.

Collections are so easy to implement and add so much to the gameplay, it's surprising

they did not become such a basic must-have mmo feature as banks or mailboxes.

Also never understood people giving advices like "if your hands are cold, put them in nature's pocket between buttocks".

Datacrons is not a substitute for collections.

Collections might provide title rewards, household decoration items, appearance gear, anything else from fluff to upgrades.

Achievers might strive to collect them all.

Traders might make or break fortunes on them.

Collections give a reason to re-visit zones when all the quests are done.
