  1. I have played this game since Beta. People say that a lot, but in my case it is true.

Like all MMO's SWTOR waxes and wanes. Personally I took advantage of the latest offer to roll a lv 65 character and enjoy the new content.

I was immersed right away. The new Jedi sentinel animations were AWESOME. Maybe people who have players 24/7 for years on end are tired but those who allow casual play to take it's normal course I am sure are not.

Keep SWTOR going. The best is yet to come! :D:csw_yoda:

  2. I am playing through the new expansion and it is very very enjoyable. I love seeing the possible outcomes and surprising content.

But this is just the icing on the cake.

DOC from The Jedi Knight story-line is the funniest companion I have seen yet. After several years of playing this game I just got around to finishing all of the conversations that are possible with him.

And he is HILARIOUS. I was laughing out loud in real life. No joke.

Thanks for brightening my day. :ph_thank_you:

Happy new year to you all. :csw_atat::csw_snowspeeder::csw_r2d2:

  3. The Crime Lord crates have been 'embargoed', which means they're not regularly available. If you're seeing it on the CM right now, it's a limited time offer with no known window of availability or when it'll come back.

That uncertainty is what they're playing on. If you want it, you have to take the opportunity when it's available or risk not seeing it again for a while. Or, technically, ever, if they decided to do that. :D

    Yar.... Yar

  4. I dont know if this is the right place to post this, but i am on my first character in my first mmo. I have a Jedi Knight at Lvl 50 and have been doing alright until recently, but now i am getting killed or at least brought way down by mid-level mobs even with a companion. I have orange cartel market adaptive robes and i have the highest mods i can get on this planet (Corellia) for every thing. I had a boss recently that it took me 6 times to get him even with med packs, Doc healing me and my heroic ability activated. Is this normal, or is there something i should be doing different? I have not done any FP or heroics mainly because I was trying to learn the game, but now that i have a basic working knowledge, I'd like to start. But with my Guardian supposed to be the Tank in a group, i dont know if he could handle it. I'd be happy for any advice, just keep it simple, I'm still learning all of the lingo.:)

Don't worry about being embarrassed. Every game I ever played (And there has been A LOT) REQUIRED you to jump into the lions den. You are in a group and have no idea what to do, ASK QUESTIONS. Do FPs. Learn while playing.

There is no substitute for experience.

Enjoy and have fun. Keep at it! (Do your dailies)

  5. Hi, me again... I'd like to add another vote to the pile for removing the npc limit... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get rid of it... And living mounts count towards npcs? What up wit dat?! They are mounts...

And I luv you devs... But please add some dark Sith like lighting styles... Can't stand how bright and cheery my Nar Shaddaa Sith Academy is... Throws the whole mood off...

    Ty.

I realize that it is a server lag issue having more npcs than is currently allowed, so why is a small amount of npcs in a very small instance such a problem, when you have hundreds upon hundreds in planets, which can have quite a few instances...? In my opinion, nothing else should be done in the area of new decorations until this issue is resolved because creating more decorations isn't going to help us get over the fact that our strongholds are lifeless, and our guild ships are lifeless... oh and I bought a hypercrate, now I have an entire inventory full of bound experience boosts that I will almost never use selling them on the gtn is a joke, can you revoke the not being able to sell to npc vendors, that would help with the over flooding of armor sets that people don't like in the gtn. ty again.

    YIS, Yis yis yis.

  6. Im trying to decide between a Smuggler and a Trooper. I was originally leaning towards going with a Smuggler Gunslinger, Ive read a lot about how they have very limited mobility (my play style is very much "slash and move," so to speak). I dont mind having a few stationary moves (those that require time or cover to use, I know theres a word for it), but if Im just going to be stuck in cover the whole time that wont be fun for me.

So, if anyone can prophetically deny the lack of mobility Gunslingers have I will chose that... if not, which should I go with instead: Scoundrel, Vangaurd or Commando?

I dont really have a preference between dps, tank or heals... as long as I can run around free

    Smuggler

  7. Great. I just returned to SWTOR yesterday, activated my stronghold, and spent a couple of hours early this morning decorating. (~midnight-3am server time)

    Now a rollback. *sigh*

Hopefully things will get fixed soon. Until then at least I have active TERA and Rift subs that I can fall back to.

    Welcome back! :csw_r2d2:
