Yeah how many did that take? It's like the "old" schematics that had a 20% rate, and you still had to RE 15-20 of the items. I don't buy their 60% bs published numbers, just like I didn't buy the old "20%" numbers.
i go my hilt first try and my barrel on the second. it has a very good rate. and its not like you can really do anything else with the radiant crystals.

dont worry about getting the 208 stuff. you can get 216s from elite comms. why bother with a 208. makes no sense. just go get the better gear and move on. If you really want to get the high end gear then you need to do 1 of 2 things. either buy the mats off the gtn or just suck it up and go raid. Story mode operations are a joke. Dps checks are 3k. meaning in 208 gear you will be doing 4.5k-5k as long as your augmented. if you know your class well you will be able to do 5.5k to 6k. i personally am doing 6.3k as a marauder. they arent hard.

Ok guys i know you are wondering how to get anything higher than 208 for crafting so here is how. Go to the ultimate comm vendor. pick up the off hand for merc and for mara. remove the barrel or hilt and it can then be reverse engineered to learn the 220 schematic.

The boxes at the end of each fight cant be looted or the final boss cant be looted. Also the flashpoint can still be solod as long as u have a character with leap.

turn off auto loot. and loot stuff as soon as it drops.

The same happens to Thermoplast Flux. There is no grade 6 mission, and the Grade 5 mission that claims to get Thermoplast Flux actually gives Brazing Flux.
Of course he does, but that's far too expensive, especially when you create stuff in the dozens for leveling the skill.
If you dont feel like waiting to get the mats or are havng trouble thats a solution for it. not saying it was the best way but it is definately the fastest

Try hoth north west heroic area for grade 4. or try running tatical flashpoints

I always do 3 gathering skills on my main. slicing scavenging and bioanalysis. that way any silver+ droid or creature u kill you can get mats from. slicing is best for adaptive circuitry and looting lock boxes

Dont set a category for when you are searching for the hilts or barrels and it works fine

Crew skill trade vendor on fleet sells that item and others needed for crafting.

You can jump through a window and get outside in the begining

General is reading at 150, only 130 is achieveable with all achievements done. Heroic Mode reads at 280, and only 275 is achieveable with all the achievements done. Fail logic, fail topic
You claim "there are supposed to be classes that are better than others"
Then yo go about telling people how to play their class and if they fail its somehow their fault even though you claim some classes are spouse to be better.
Balance seems good so far, far better then before.
Im not telling anyone how to play any specific class. If something is going wrong then maybe its not the class that needs changed. Maybe they need to improve the way they play. Each class has its own area that it excells at. thats the point of playing a different class. If your dieing alot then obviously either the other player is 1. better geared. 2 they know their class better. or 3. your doing something wrong. I have seen to many times a person go into raid thinking they know their class and cant either pull the numbers needed to pass or just standing in stupid.

I understand that Swtor is trying to make classes more balanced. Fact of the matter is, there are supposed to be classes that are better than others in certain aspects of the game. Period. If a class is wrecking you in pvp there is a few options you can try. Try learning to play your class correctly. Make sure that you are properly geared. And if that doesnt work for you then maybe that paticular type of class isnt for you.
As for classes being screwed up. Swtor has screwed Marauders/Sentinel time and time again. the past 2 times they didnt even include the changes to the classes in the patch notes. Swtor if your going to change a class at the very least put the changes in the patch notes. Or maybe you should just leave the classes alone and make people deal with the fast that they either suck and need to learn how to play Or play a different class.

Maybe you dont get your old companions back at all. Maybe you need to learn to roll with the punches and accept the game changing for what it is.

Ok everyone here is how to get you 208 barrel or hil, 216 barrel or hilt, and the 220 barrel and hilt schems without running operations. You can bay the 208 offhand that has a barrel or hilt and then pull it and put it in your mainhand as it is not bound to offhand or mainhand. As for the 216 and 220 you can buy the offhand from the elite or ultimate comm vendor( i know thats not the new name) and re it. not sure if glitch or if it will be fixed. i recommend doing this before they fix it. if they do

As for a Set piece bonus. I think it might be nice for there to be a 2 piece, 4 piece, 6 piece, and a 7th piece. Give a great bonus for having that 7th piece. Can be done for all classes. Give a reward to those people that put that time and effort into getting all 7 pieces. I.E. Alacrity bonus of 3%? Maybe. Or possibly a speed bonus? Or possibly Making Force charge 0-30 range. Would like to know what everyone else thinks.

Another good idea that would be awesome for all specs and help fix watchmen's rotation.
6pc- reduce master strike channeling time and cooldown (while also speeding up the global cooldown while channeling it, although i don't know if its needed) by 20~25%.
For annihilation, if master strike hits (or third hit) applied/resetted force melt duration, that would be awesome, even more awesome if force melt was removed from the game with this xD
Run alacrity to reduce the channel time and reduce cds.

I don't know how else I can say this without repeating it. Rend does not add a ds stack. Let's go through the whole rotation:
Mine: Charge-DS-BA (1st stack added)- rupture (2nd stack added), Rend (no stack added, so still at two stacks)- buffs- annihilate (3rd stack added, devious wounds gained for 4.5 sec) - ravage (after ravage is finished devious wounds falls off)- dst- vicious slash/assault (at the end of this gcd rupture falls off) - rupture + DS.
Yours: dual saber throw, force charge, battering assault, annihilate (4.5 sec of devious wounds with no dots on target), force rend (3 sec worth of devious wounds buff), deadly saber, rupture (1st stack of DS applied, 1.5 sec of devious wounds buff), ravage (2nd stack of DS added)
Also yours: dual saber throw-force charge- deadly saber- short fuse- battering assault (1st ds stack added)- annihilate (2nd DS stack added, 4.5 sec of devious wounds)-force rend (gets 3 sec of devious wounds)- beserk/zen- rupture (3rd DS stack added, 1.5 sec of devious wounds)- ravage- dual saber throw
All three rotations use a move to prolong DS at 2 stacks, but mine does so while making much more efficient use of devious wounds buff
Well like i said before. im still working through the rotation. just pointing out that you can have deadly saber dot and rupture up 100%. Also I dont change my utilities before a fight. i have 1 set of utilities that works for me all the time, i dont use the charge to get the 30 stacks( for me not useful and dont always have time to use charge before a fight) I know that rend doesnt add a stack of ds. I have been working with the rotation just by parseing and watching the numbers, currently 1mill hp in 3 min 10 seconds. But to repeat myself. im still trying to figure out the rotation. The reason ive been using annihilate early is for some reason it crits and hits extremely hard in the opener if used early. not sure if this happens all the time. but its been hitting for 18k to 20k. Would like to talk in mumble or ts. Still playing with numbers and trying to figure it out. due to patch notes not including the changes i havent really been able to really figure everything out that has changed.
