    How do I turn off level shift?

    I thought that I would hate level sync so much that I wasn't sure I'd stay interested in the game when 4.0 dropped, but instead wound up pleasantly surprised. Minus a few times where I was inconvenienced by aggroing too many mobs while traveling, like OP mentions, I've barely even noticed it.

     

    It would be kind of nice if it was optional, though. I can't think of a reason for it NOT to be optional. I know it's possible and that's the only part of it that bothers me.

     

    I kind of agree with you , just I think once you are max level give the player a way to turn it off .I also didn't think I would like it when I came back to the game a few days ago , but I ended up loving it . Now , I can't out level a planet and I get full xp for all my quest . Plus I don't have to hold on to a quest turn in, so I don't screw my self out of xp from being to high level . And I like how Flashpoints works with it

    Keep in mind that while Esseles can be easily soloed if you are a number of levels over the requirement, the bonus boss can only be activated if there are at least two of you as two panels far apart have to be activated at the same time to trigger the boss.

     

    That needed to be changed since the start , seeing IMP side bonus boss only needs one person to call him . Just always bothered me they way they did that

    I had trouble with this until a guildie showed me lol

     

    you have to click both machines on the ground first and keep moving . do damage to him until he puts up that shield thing, then head to the cat walks ramps , go up click on the machines on each of them . and keep the laser guns things firing at him while he is active . Keep moving and don't stand in the red and try to take down the adds as you are moving . Just don't stay still is the best thing I can say

     

    edit: I let the laser do the damage and just try to stay alive . once you do it, It gets easier :p

    So, everyone in a group will be rolling on the same gear then? Is that what this comes down to ?

    Bad enough when you have say 4 people rolling on same item , now the whole Fp/ OP group is rolling on it .

     

    And this is good how?

     

    If this is the route they wanted to go in the first place , then they should of did it at the start .

     

    Have each class having its own stat , one slowed down gearing and made you run FP/OP for gear a lot .

    Now, people will be needing on everything even if they have that item already and what are you going to say then?

    are you going to check each persons gear before you start to make sure they don't roll on a item they already have ?

    This will cause more trouble then the ninja looters we have now , because everyone will be rolling on the same items "expect weapons " but then you are going to have say both class of jedi/sith rolling on the same sabers .

     

    Now, for people that solo most of the time this works out great for them . No more wanting a chest item with aim to drop and getting something with willpower etc

    But maybe that's the reason being this huge stat change, seems we are heading towards more of a solo player game

    The ones the bot the starting planets just kill me . Stand in the same spot , killing things until they are like level 8 or 9 , then move to the higher levels and repeat . I was starting a trooper the other day, in a room a chest spawn near a bot and he looted it as he killed the mobs. went on my way and came back to see him loot it again . before I left the planet I went back and he was lvl 8 , still killing the npcs in the room and looting the chest :/ Is there real credits doing this on starting planets?

     

    but, far as chest go there should be a buff you get when you loot them and can't loot another for 30 mins or so . give other players a chance to get one .

     

    And for boters killing mobs for loot , maybe add something If you kill the same mob over and over in a set time frame, it stops dropping loot or a reduce loot . This would have a big impact on even the credit famers who are really playing . Just seems bots go after the same mobs

    So is this an exploit?

    BW Please answer. I can't live in FEAR!

     

    I've been spam killing elites on ziost on cooldown. I got timers up when they will spawn. I beat them everytime.

     

    In 3 hours I made more than 3 million credits.

     

    But I can't help but feel the creds they give is OP. Which leads me to wonder if spamming these guys is an exploit.

     

    So......is it?

     

    What I read and understood from you post is. Hey BW , Please nerf the credit drops from Elites on Ziost . You know this isn't a exploit . :rolleyes:

     

    And good job pointing it out to others , who didn't know about this :p Hope, no one I know has to deal with more Elite campers while onZiost :cool:

    Sith warrior vs Knight

    Consular vs inquisitor

     

    Also does it make sense to be a light sith or does it contradict the plot a little?

     

    I enjoyed the inquisitor more then consular found it boring and I thought Knight was better then warrior seemed to drag on . only thing I say about light vs dark on sith is how some companions react , but will say dark is easier to build :D

     

    but my top class storyline is Bh , just to say lol

    Can I mail items between factions?

    If I have some characters on both sides, can I mail items to myself between them? Specifically, I want to take some gathering/crafting crew skills on opposite sides and be able to supply each other. Is that possible?
    Yes, but just get a strong hold and use the legacy storage :) any of your toons can use them starting at lvl 1 , just cross faction SH charges you to go their . so get the basic ones and you covered;)

    I subscribe for the rewards like the new companion that comes out tomorrow so do i wait tomorrow in the mail or how because im new to all this.

     

    You have to subscribe by the 10th in order to get the reward in Oct either the day of early access or Oct 27th . Sorry :( about the confusing

    Your bet is Shadowlands or Jedi Covenant, I think both are even ish (http://www.torstatus.net/shards/us) using that site and i'm not sure if it stays up to date. also the RP servers will show higher numbers at times but it's misleading (I think they have a lower "high cap" then normal servers.

    Not sure on the reward item and welcome back!

     

     

    I play on Shadowlands and I don't have any problems with Lag . A lot of good guilds on booth sides to join . And I don't have any idea on the price of life day items . I know they used to sell for a lot , but with the cartel market selling them not long ago " July was it ? " effects the price of those things :( unless its a item that you could get in 2012

    So, everyone who was sub by the july 31 is just slapped in the face ? Remember when getting sub rewards meant something . Hey there was a sub reward early this year for crystals can you extend that for me? I missed it because I didn't have the money for a sub . would be really nice, since you extended this one :p its only fair to the rest of us who missed that one ;)
