I had my "wow" MMO experience in WoW funnily enough!
Seeing the massive cities, landscapes and seeing someone on the flight path birds and thinking;
"Oh my god! Insane he has his own bird!"
Obviously I've grown up and learnt a lot about MMO's since then, but I must say this game is lovely and brilliant. I love Star Wars anyway so having a game based on Star Wars is just perfect so far.
Keep up the good work BioWare!

Have opend up 15 Battlemaster gear bags. No gear and only 2 Battlemaster Comms. Yeah...this system needs changing. Big time!
Oh noes! I have put 10 hours of my time into this game and I want to be fully geared derp! This thread is silly, it's about enjoyment of playing the game, the chance to obtain gear is a side enjoyment.

Ok so we're on the brink of War with the Republic, yes I am Sith, you feel that we have some friendly cups of tea on the Balmorran plains?
They are practically the enemy, there is an un-official agreement of Space combat outside of the zones that the Republic and Sith control.
I for one, sit here happily not chatting to my "enemy". Why can't you get that?

This game does not badly need macros at all. I survive better than ever with the current UI. Just utilise the different Quickslot tabs etc. Stop whining.

Dont agree with you at all.
Nar Shaddaa so far is the best place I've visited, it's the seedy, back street Star Wars I know of from the books I've read. It's brilliant.
If you are lost, either consult a brain surgeon for some medical help or do what I do young padawans...

Why is there 4 lightsabers with strength on them, and not one with willpower?
I found this too, but I'm not bothered because there is a helmet and some wrists (I believe) that I can buy.
If you want a nice Lightsabre run the Mandolorian Flashpoint (Can't remember it's name) a fantastic one drops in there for level 29>.

Anyone else like me and have a hard time staying very interested in a character after 30? Just starts to feel like more of a grind at that point and the only quests worth doing are the class story.
My first character was my Imp Agent I got to 32 and then rerolled my trooper that I got to 30, tonight I rolled a Sith Inquisitor and am level 10 and loving it.
I love the game but is anyone else getting the same vibe?

There are a LOT of things so far that the community wants answers/clarification on, and for being a company that is supposedly really trying to knock off some of the bigger MMOs.. they sure are failing and customer relations and community involvement. There are so many unanswered questions that have been around for months and Bioware NEVER answers them or even touches on the subject, and that needs to stop NOW.
We can make them HEAR US... we can MAKE THEM understand that we deserve to know what is going on with a game that we are supporting. We deserve to know why things are the way they are, and what is going on! Someone needs to answer these questions and the many more that others have that I can not think of right now.
1. Where are your customer relations people!? Tons of questions are asked on the forums daily and I never see any GM/DEV/CR/anything answering these questions. Look at some of the games out there that have a good customer to developer communication, and you will see that communication is the key to having a good player base relationship/forgiving relationship.
2. Is there a plan to fix the graphic settings? Right now there is no real difference between medium/high graphics and it's apparent that we are all stuck with the medium textures. What's the reasoning for this, and do you guys have a fix planned?
3. When are we getting Optimized AA? Sure we can force it on now, but everyone knows that is kinda glitchy and can lead to problems.
4. Flashpoint loot problems. Some FPs have loot that is auto-looted by one of the members and nobody else can have a crack at it, any plans on fixing this?
5. When and with what are you going to be updating the CE/Security vendors with? A lot of people are upset with the VIP lounge after you hyped it up so much... what are the plans exactly for implementing new content to these areas.
6. Chat Bug. Are you aware of it? Randomly people will not be able to read/talk in group chat, or general chat etc unless they relog. This is extremely annoying, is there a fix planned?
7. UI tweaking. There is some decent options available now, but a pretty legitimate complaint is that the text size is not adjustable on anything but the general chat box. For those on certain monitors/TVs, it makes reading quest logs, tool tips, anything else really ahrd to read. Also the ability to have better placement/manual placement of the hotkey bars.
8. A easier way to find groups. Having to spam in /1 is quite annoying to everyone in the zone, let alone those looking for a group. And noobdy seems to use that actual "Flag yourself for group" option because it's not very successful. I would like to do flashpoints, but I'm not going to waste 30 minutes sitting in the fleet spamming /1 that I am looking for a group. Some kind of way to have a global search/group finder would be nice.

If you have any questions you want answered ask, I know I left a lot out, but it is kind of late and I cant think strait. I'll be checking here often and updating until we get a response of some kind. I will not let this go bioware. You guys are real quick to delete posts, so I know your here, but what is the point of reading the forums if you aren't going to respond and assure your players of your awareness or plans to fix it.
Address your community bioware, it is your only chance to build the relationship!!!!
(What is really sad is all 8 of those up there have been questions asked since beta started a long time ago... and I still have yet to hear anything about them except bioware state that they had plans to allow more customizing of the UI).
It's December the 23rd today. The game has officially been out for 3 days. Relax, enjoy Christmas and be patient. The developers of this game said that they intend to be in the MMO market for years to come. Be patient, I like how you have made some good points and it's very easy for them to read and pass on the relevant infomation to the relevant departments to rectify. But like I said, relax, chill and be patient.

That's a @$@#%^!@ outrage!
1. The amount is simply ridiculous and way too high.
2. With #1 being kept firmly in mind; SOME FREAKING WARNING WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE - maybe could have saved for it, instead of recently shelling out 20,000 credits for an extra row of baggage space.
I just hit 25 for the first time and the game's just gone from being fun for the story and play's sake, to whoring for credits. Great job, Bioware. What really pisses me off as an old school gamer is knowing that the absurdity of this will sink into some thick producer's skull sometime down the line and the price will be lowered...
lotta good that does the rest of us now.
Get real mate seriously..
At level 20 you get a Tip in-game called, "Start saving", which tells you to start saving for your speeder at level 25. Move along.

Now we're on the subject of Darth Zash, can I re-direct your attention to Darth Lachris. The Sith who is sent to oversee the military operations on Balmorra.
I, also being a Sith found her power a bit tasty, so I started flirting with her (only the second time I've done that on this game, honest!), anyways I asked her something along the lines of this;
"blah blah blah, maybe we can spend a bit of time together now that the fighting is done etc etc etc"
Just being friendly to a fellow Sith you know! Anyways, the screen went black for a second and both me and her walked back on screen with her saying something like;
"Well I enjoyed that exploration"
Excuse me, but did my character just "enjoy" himself with a Darth?! Please tell

Pretty much average.
Would give it a much higher score if not for all the useless travel.
I spend more time traveling in this game than any other activity...its really pretty lame.
*edit* scratch that, traveling time is second only to queueing time...
My god, leave this game please!
I like the travelling, I feel like im in a fricking big galaxy and im glad for that! Sod your silly desires to be spoon fed everything in your computer chair, go work for it.

As you have been reading frequently these last few days.
Some select servers have large queues already on their servers, but we are still in Early Access there is a large majority of people who haven't started playing yet. They are waiting for launch (20th of December), what will happen then may I ask?
New servers?
Higher server capability?
Server caps on certain servers?
Just asking.

Oh, quit being such an apologist. I've been accessing the game since first 30 seconds of EGA. Just wanting to play with a friend (people have these, you know!).
All that aside Mr. Your question has been answered. Nothing more nothing less. For your sake I hope he gets his email today, because as you know it's a brilliant game.
