[Star Trek online vs TOR (READ)]

Well they waste all that money for adding voice to kill & fetch quests so no surprise there :/

 

My friend that was playing GW2 last weekend told me that you have 5 skills that match weapons you use. So you have different 5 skills if you use 2 swords. Different when you use 1 sword or some huge 2-handed sword. Different when you use gun and sword.

 

Now you can't even compare something like that to **** Bioware present us.

 

Same with PVP. Here we have 3 small and boring warzones + broken Ilum. There you have huge epic battle between 3 servers in world vs world vs world fights.

 

It's not even cross server like in many MMO where bunch of folks join to do something on battleground. There you have contests between servers. How more cool it can be ?

 

Point is - GW 2 will appear and 2 things will happen. Arenanet will fail and GW 2 will be forgoten or TOR will eat dirt and only Star Wars fan boys, people that don't like fantasy and some of Bioware fanbase will remain.

 

From last beta I think that GW2 have better PVE content with no stupid instances EVERYWHERE. Better PVP content and on top of that - better engine, overall graphic and combat system.

 

I just hope that ArenaNet will deliver but after GW 1 I'm sure they can.

Having played alot of MMOs since 2003, SWTOR is a dull experience with a team of designers who just are not forward thinking enough.

 

Take a look at Guild Wars 2(for example). World vs World combat, where the actual rewards are SERVER wide - not gear, or silly coms/medals. Crafting, questing, etc all get a 5% stat bonus(or something like that) if your server wins the battle.

 

SWTORs clunky design, cluttered UIs and the running joke that is/was Ilum kind of shows just how wrong these guys have got it.

Too easy, and boring, and not enough people to play with.

 

Combat is sluggish, classes are meh design, leveling is so incredibly boring.

 

I can't imagine anyone, myself included, would even be playing this game if it wasn't called star wars.

Human Characters levelled to 50 unlock a presence buff as opposed to a new race for other classes.

So with legacy coming out,iv lved 3 toon to lv 50 all are humans as with most mmos i play i lv human toons maybe a bit boaring but that is just me.

So no new races which is a shame as im sure many players want a wookie etc,but as iv got a lv 50 human does that mean i unlock all human charicter combos ,like BH tatoos,slaves brands for any human toon i create???

If this is not the case this is very lame,anyone know??

Sorry Tera is just lols beta was a a joke, but GW2 is great and will be very good june-july for it i think and you will see subs fly from SWTOR,dont get me wrong im a massive star wars fan but swtor is just lame and GW2 is and going to be so much better from PVP to PVE,charicter creation and just genral game play anyone that playes GW2 will not come back to any other MMO trust me

I think the gunslinger class would be soooo much better if they removed the cover system,most of the time its slow buggy and just feels very clunky.

I think if it was removed it would make this class so much better in pvp and pve.

I think you need the legacy lv and the credits so yes it will get alot more gold sellers in game

Tbh its just not that good,mobs from lv 1-50 look the same,charicter creation is very lame and FP,OPS are not really hard lazy game Dev.

 

And this game should have been much better its just boaring,the Fact thats its a star wars mmo is the only thing it has.
