  1. I noticed as I was levelling my Sorcerer how each level of Sith corruptions changes until eventually you reach rank 10 Darkside, and my character looks absolutely aweful with corruption on.

Would it be possible to add some kind of function on the character creation screen where you can view the character you are creating with full sith corruption, then you can make changes accordingly, at the end of the day it's what it looks like at level 50 that matters.

I appreatiate it would be too late for all those level 50's now but would certainly help any new characters being created.

And also on a side note add the ability to hide companion head slot.

  2. I am having a real issue getting this Datacron with my type 3 body, you are supposed to be able to get through the gap in the door, but my body is too big, How am I supposed to get this one solo any one know?

I have seen the video where they use the statue in the middle and a BH uses grappling hook, sadly I am a juggernaught, not sure if force charge would work, plus I have the nightmare of explaining to a pug where and how to get on it.

I am on the Tomb of Freedan noob server if any one out there with a type 2 body wants to try and help me.

  3. People really miss the point, so EU maintenance is during the day when most are at school or work, yet North America are mainly asleep. I can gurantee there are thousands if not tens of thousands of EU players that play during those hours every day.
  4. So EU servers are down until 4pm GMT tomorrow, while for North America the servers are down while most are asleep, I really don't care, if it is an American Company, I couldn't care if America invited, computer gaming, electricity, the Internet, computers, life, man the planet earth or even the galaxy, I live in Europe, our servers are in Ireland why not take them down to suit Europe.

BioWare Sort out the stupid EU maintenance times.

  5. The OP is one of those people who try to rush thru the game and cancel before he has to pay for the subscription. He is probably figuring out that he will not have to time to do all he plans so he needs extra free time.

I have no intentions of cancelling, I do however expect to play the game when I pay for it, we lost nearly an entire day on the 27th due to extended maitenance, I have lost over 24 hours of play time being stuck in a queue on a server so overloaded that it finally gave up the ghost today.

  6. I don't know about you guys, but I am still waiting to hear some sort of official word about an extension to the first 30 days you get with the game, poor maintenance time extensions, long queue wait times, and now server crashes, all eating into the 30 days we have paid for. "And yes we do pay for those 30 days it is included in the retail price"

Yes I know this is petty but at least it shows you value your customers and community.

  7. Thanks for clarifying the figure.

BioWare aren't stopping you from playing. You have the option to "play", just not playing on the server you want.

If you have an issue with queuing for a server that's very popular then don't be a part of the problem, be a solution and go roll toons on lighter servers. You don't generally see shops closing due to large queues when they are extremely popular or during peak times.

So ya, I'm not an advocate of closing servers. I don't think friends should be forced apart. That said, I am an advocate of having an expansible server design, allowing you to place more hardware within a cluster to support larger populations for servers that are more appealing (for whatever reason), thus mitigating the queue issue slightly.

Why do people see swapping to a light server as a solution? it isn't, I have a few toons over level 20 with crafting skills over 200 on them, I have a guild and friends on the server, why should I go play on a different server to them? and I am the fortunate one I work from home, I have friends that can't log in until gone 5pm

  8. I looked through all the forum lists and there are none for off topic, this forum stated general and this is a general thread. Like most when it states facts, Bioware don't want to hear they just close it down.

The community as a whole at his rate is going to lose over 5,000,000 days of their current subscription in server queue's how is this acceptable?

I give this post 5 minutes max before it gets buried by Bioware, for speaking the truth.

  9. On doing the math real quickly out of my first 30 days subscription 5 days of that is going to be spent in queue's.

Bioware seemed to put a lot of effort into the guild structures in this game, yet now they want you to reroll on a server completely different to that guild, makes no sense. Rerolling on another server is not an option, I have 4 characters over level 20 all with 200+ crafting, I am with my guild and long term friends.

These queue's went on before actual launch yesterday, Bioware have failed to put on server locks, failed to increase server caps, failed to implement free server transfers.

What really worries me is if they cannot do the simple math with the ACTUAL figures they had from pre-orders, what hope is there for the future with projected figures.

Yes I know they tried to balance out servers by placing guilds on certain servers, only for those guilds to just move to different one's, that was only because Bioware failed to actually look at it's community. Placing large Russian guilds, with groups of smaller Eu one's.

There are enough players from both Russia and Spain in this community to warrant 2 Russian speaking servers and 2 Spanish, but no just English, French and German, so the English speaking servers take the brunt of foreign languages in general.

I appreciate customer service is under the thumb as the game hits launch, but again MMO are not new Bioware is not new they should have employed temporary staff to cover this issue for the first month or two.

Server maintenance times, that fairs either North America or Europe, being as EU servers are in Ireland give the EU it's own Maintenance window.

So SWTOR is breaking lots of MMO release records, with pre-orders, sales etc etc, here is the real record Bioware can be proud of.

Well over 5,000,000 days spent in server queues

  10. This is a quote from Bioware

The following is a brief statement from Jeff Hickman, Executive Producer, Live Services:

"We know there have been questions about the queues on the servers, so we wanted to take a moment to give you some insight.

In order to ensure that the service would be smooth and stable, we staged how we brought people into the Early Game Access program, adding people in waves. As you know, there are a lot of folks who want to play the game right now and we want to make sure they have lots of people to play with. Balancing this with figuring out when to bring new servers online to help alleviate the size of the queues is part art and part science. On one hand, you do not want people to wait too long – on the other hand, you want to make sure that people have a dynamic, engaging community to play with for long after launch. Either way, we have one clear objective – to make sure folks have fun.

While we can’t promise that there won’t ever be queues, we can promise you that we are taking this matter seriously and constantly reviewing them to make sure that they are manageable and reasonable."

I logged in to The Tomb of Freddan nabb at 8am gmt and had 787 infront of me, it is now 9.36am and I still have 434 infront of me in the queue.

I have a level 23 toon and 3 level 20 toons, I am playing with my guild and friends of over 8 years in mmo, I don't want to go on another server, I shouldn't have to go on another server.

Bioware stop saying you are reveiwing it, because you are doing nothing, you will do nothing until 30 days have past and you know what repeat subscriptions you have.

You have taken one of the best MMO's to be released in over 6 years and completely and totally screwed it up, by making 50% of your player base queue for extended periods, and you see this as acceptable?
