There is ONE black lightsaber that appears in lore, and it supposed to be one of a kind.
I believe it was wielded by some mandalorian (non force sensative)
this is true and they where called Darksabers!

The reason why Star Trek did the time travel thing is because Star Trek is a garbage properties with too many lore loopholes. Star Wars Has pretty tight lore and it is interesting unlike Star Trek so there is no need for time travel.

My biggest problem is the lack of variety in PVP, Bioware is doing a great job expanding on the operations and flashpoints but the PVP just is not their!

Grey Jedi, with mixtures of light/dark skills?

Anyhow, please let's speculate. That **** is fun.
I agree with the Witches of Dathomiir as well as Dark Jedis would be cool, they could make it a night ac or something where if your dark side points are high enough you could chose to become sith or a Dark Jedi who uses the Dark Side but does not accept the sith.
They should also make a class that primarily uses electrostafs/ viroblades cause there are a lot of them weapons kicking around but the are not really significant at the moment.

people have to realize bad writing is everywhere my linguistic major cousin goes through dan brown novels and finds a ****ton of grammar and spelling mistakes.
truth is, if the grammar police got there way everything would be **** look at Shakespeare, compare his stuff to the storys bioware has created and Shakespeare is garbage.
So what im saying is star wars is not perfect but 400 years from know English profs will be quoting star wars like they quote Shakespeare and that idiot who made fart jokes named Chaucer.

SWTOR, seriously though for an mmo on launch its pretty polished. Now more warzones would be nice, bioware posted a screenshot of one coming next month so thats good. And now that they announced more empire vs empire pvp we can expect possibly even more warzones than that one new one?

Granted, not many. A friend of mine practices some type of historical longsword fighting deal (dont remember if it was italian, or german) and it looks nothing like it does in most movies.
Obviously you would have to take into account the fact that armor is involved, and that longswords were, a lot of the time used in two hands, with one mailed gauntlet actually holding the sword blade to penetrate armor, yet it doesn't change the fact that the lightsaber fighting seen in the prequels is inneffective at best.
There are several times where obi could have struck down Maul for instance, but instead chose to twirl his lightsaber around. I realise most of this is just to make it look good and flashy, but there are plenty of good swordfights out there that are far more realistic.
The one in die another day for instance, as someone mentioned here. The one with (ironically) Liam Neeson in Rob Roy is also a favorite of mine, and when it comes to Star Wars, nothing beats Vader vs Luke in their last fight, in sheer intensity.
Again, this is just my opinion. I enjoyed seeing some more, and varied ligthsaber fighting, but it could have been executed without feeling like a choreographed dance routine.
the new sherlock Holmes films use weapons as one would Kali sticks which are a great pair of sticks to learn form because they can be translated into sword combat

the pre film era like KOTOR, TOR, Bane, Tales Of The Jedi is all good.
Then you get the Dark Empire trilogy. Legacy comes later and it ok, not great though. Legacy War added to legacy making it a bit more awesome.
I think chewbacca was crushed by a planet or some ****.
Honestly though its this ridiculous stuff that makes star wars intresting.

The true Sith actually show back up in the Star Wars Legacy era (I think about 200-300 years after Return of the Jedi). Great comic series, highly recommended.
not really, those creatures that served krayts one sith where sithspawn (creatures twisted by sith alchemy, although cade skywalker calles them sithspawn it is not really concrete as to weather or not they where true sithspawn like the Massassi.) but they are for sure more or less like maul in that they where a number of different species with sith tatoos.
It is also good to point out that as mentioned in earlier issues of legacy that ancient sith lords who appear in force ghost forms did not even consider krayts one sith as legitimate sith.

at lvl 16 i took out a lvl 40 with ambush and snipe, there op but most of their op moves are in cover so you got to get to cover to be as op as possible
