And yet here I am, still trying to download after five hours. Which means I've spent a boatload more time just attempting to install than I will actually playing the new chapter. This amuses me greatly. Also: launcher restarts do nothing.

Edit: And what exactly is Bitraider that people want to disable it to try to make this download work and how is it going to affect my game, if at all?
its a different method of installing, but you have to reinstall everything.

They clearly state that you must be a subscriber on the dates listed. If you can somehow prove that somehow that the words explaining that you are qualified for early access only if you qualify for the Four listed reward dates. Which you get by being a subscriber. By the time listed "11:59PM PDT//6:59AM GMT" You had plenty of time to read a single page.

Quoted for truth and these fan boys made it easy for me to unsub 5 minutes ago. They are on here telling everyone how high and mighty they are and how we are idiots for not taking the time to read everything through. If they liked the game so much why are they not playing instead of been on here and been trolls. More people that pay to play is a better game for everyone. It keeps expansions coming, more people working on the game, and an over all better game, but no lets go on the forums and be a troll and piss people off.
I have dual monitors, so multi tasking is not that hard.

Despite romancing her on my trooper. She gains no influence from Courting gifts. Which I hope that some bug didn't suddenly switch off the fact that my character romanced her.

Well spoilers below.
It seems that the romance companions come in after chapter 9. Non romancable companions come in chapter 9 for warrior. Pierce and I believe Broonmark. I say this because chapter 10 info shows a female rattataki who is an Anarchist. Who also looks very familiar to a certain romanceable companion for Imperial agents.

If no one says anything, how will Bioware know many people were confused? It's not just about "fix it now" it's also about "maybe you should be more clear next time."

Bioware was very clear, and made a point to ensure the point came across. It's not their fault people were too lazy to read. (If your sub lapsed due to money issues. You have my sympathy) They even extended the July 31st date to August 10th. .

Will companions receive their personal story like the original method or are they just tied into overall plot.
For companions that we can romance ex. vette. Would vette opinion of the player's action change over time. Like instead of losing ten influence, we may lose 5.
Will a companion with low enough influence break up with the outlander?

Lana has worked with republic (Theron and the Republic hero) in the past. Plus, did you see how bad things got? She doesn't have a lot of options.
Also, the Empire is gone. His power base is probably diminished to a great extent. If the sith empire has fallen, then he needs to help rebuild it. He might die might live, no one knows.

Killing Quinn was originally possible, but it was met with a lot of people whining on forums saying I killed Quinn and now I cant have a healer again give him back!

Although I am no writer This is how I thought act 2 and 3 should of went. You begin to build a base of allies and slowly start to influence them, govener moff and at the end a darth. During act 3 You slowly maniuplate a fight amongst the higher ranks with Darth Thanaton and kill him and take his place. Then in future Acts you disguise yourself after a senator that you kill and begin to try to influence the Republic, while at the same influencing the Dark Council. Also on korriban an extra mission with light side dark side points with influencing the fate of a fellow acolyte whos one step higher than you not fon or the red guy what ever his name is., but like kory or the one who vanishes.

Has anyone noticed that the majority of NPCs (on the Imperial Side at least) will always accost you after immediately failing a mission that you and a lone companion manage to trivialize?
Does this get as tedious for you as it does for me?
While I understand that there are only so many ways to explain why You and Your Companion must finish quest Save The Day on your own (or in a small group), I would suggest to the writers and developers that further down the line, you try to come up with better explanations for those quests, or even give the quests a different feel by making the respective Imperial and Republic armies look less like morons.
It would probably benefit the story greatly.
Imperial side is based off of star wars the original saga Imperials where all officers and troopers in the empire were incomptent to get the job done and were usually executed. In the Empire their recruitment for trained proffessionals were this. To get the job you must make the current one "vanish" to keep the job you must do well or you die. If you fail we will go out on the streets and find a replacement

Odessen Load issue

Attempting to load into Odessen while having a Windowless fullscreen mode causes the following issues. Used the Alert travel location to Hutt doctor from Stronghold in Dromund Kaas.
While on loading screen, the screen temporarily minimize, and on return faced a black screen. Program was unresponsive. Bug occurred more than once. Fixed by doing Window mode.
