  1. Seriously? Most of the players on my Hex Droid server are full BM geared as am I, Im standing at 21% dmg boost in pvp. I have the augmented gear also to increase my crit rating and I don't have a problem bursting down alot of players in BM, including healers. My opening with hidden strike hits for about 4k then backstab up to 3.5k-4k already. Thats 50% hp of the average player in BM gear in 2 hits. Then I still have a debilitate left incase they heal whilst I finish them off.

     

    All this moaning is just dumb, if you are struggling then you are not good or you don't realise that pvp is situational and shouldn't rely on rotations. Manage your energy and play pvp in a TEAM.

     

    This ops forum has been QQing since release about nearly every single possible issue.

    Please remember alot of other classes still hate OPS because of our annoying HS, utilise it....

  2. IM 34 concealment 7 lethality

     

    My operative is using mostly BM gear some champion and 4 pieces rakata.

     

    I now have 400 less hps than before 1.2

     

    My hidden strike and backstab now do max crit i have had is 2024 since 1.2. Before 1.2 I would hit will into the 4k range. My energy regen is worse it seems after playing 6 wz's and did the dailies on Ilum. But not sure if it was my mangement of my regen or what. Ill have to work on that next couple days but, how it looks my regen is slower.

     

    In wz's I use to flatten a newb commando, now last night I got owned by the same commando. It was no contest. He still had 3/4 of his Hps while i was dead...... it was a 1 on 1 fight away from the turrets out of sight by the rest.

     

    End results: Most likely switching to healing tonight since operative dps is non-existent. Will take some time getting medic gear but then again all of my non-armor is field medic gear since i sorta knew this was coming.

     

    maybe your unskilled? At first with the patch I thought oh no, then a couple matches later i started hitting top 3 dmg in all WZs consistently...just like before, I'm now playing as lethality which i find better since max range is key when everyone is hitting harder for survivability. But really if you can't kill a noob commando in BM gear you suck.

     

    Furthermore I went off topic, the thread dude was asking the performance of PVE, the only thing I can comment is that concealment seems to lose energy quite fast in comparison to lethality, and it was opposite before. However sometimes its not energy but the longer cd of backstab, since the rotation doesn't seem natural anymore.

  3. Full BM/Rakata 2 piece, getting 6k+ crits with adrenals/trinkets.

     

    Don't believe this, I have 4 rakata pieces, all rakata implants and the earpiece along with the best in slot weapons and vibro blade + biochem. PvE gear is crap in pvp with all the expertise, you must be getting 6k+ crits on people who just dinged.

  4. I've tried concealment and lethality in hard mode Eternity vault and I fair just fine. A good indication is the council boss and I didnt have a problem killing my target 1on1. Even when i was concealment spec and i could not use hidden strike or backstabs or acid blade.

     

    Lethality seems the better spec though for more survivability since many bosses are bugged with their positioning and diameter of aoe skills

  5. concealment is over rated, sure i've hidden strike people for 4.8k with a acid blade ticking for almost another 1.5k dmg in total but you depend too much on a opener, and if someone is prepared then its fair game. I've attempted fully relic openers on powertechs or marauders who have turned around and destroyed me with their damage too.

     

    imo lethality is better in pve and pvp. Concealment is surprisingly great in the beginning, but once you fight champions and people who know how to counter you, the opness is gone. Not to mention the increasing levels of expertise.

  6. I just respecced to lethality for raiding now, and my dps is considerably better then concealment. I'm rolling out with 36% crit rating and 65% multiplier and energy preservation seems to be exceptionally easy. Just using 1 stim pack nearly regens the majority of my bar and rarely I use adrenaline probe. Lethality for me is definitely the better build when you have the right stats for it. As for accurate figures I can't say due to the lack of combat log, but sustainability of dps is incredible. Using a lethality build currently in HC EV.
  7. hmm interesting, if thats the case I wonder how much crit you actually need. Atm I am at a base crit level of 36% + talents on top, and my surge rating is close to 70%. But after using shiv, stim pack, corrosive dart, corrosive grenade, shiv, cull....My energy level has fallen low making its regeneration slow already.

     

    Atleast with Concealment we have a 0 Energy backstab, during that time, with stimpack energy can regen significantly quicker. Its interesting to see in time whats better with gear, sadly my last respec was 48k and I am sure it doubles each time :(

  8. Without add ons or anything that can record dps, I'm not sure what damage is better in PVE.

     

    The obvious is that lethality does more dps for longer fights and concealment the shorter due to burst. But I also find lethality requires much more energy and a harder time keeping up tactical advantage? Then again Concealment is limited with damage if you lose out on HS in your rotation.

     

    I've played both now and lean towards concealment being higher damage. Websites like darth hater and sithwarrior.com also don't have anything on this yet and theory crafting is lacking in this department.

     

    Anyone care to share opinions? I'd like to know what you think
