  3. hybrids and tanks will most likely be the only ones with this. the talent is second tier in tank tree to make this free.

     

    I figured it was a talent to make it free, its still a class wide ability though right? Sins/Shadows have to spec for their AoE slow, as do PT/VGs i believe?

     

    In any WZ save for HB, this ability is cripplingly OP. Its still pretty shockig in HB as well

  4. Rights, gona get flamed to **** about this, but im on my lunch so go ahead and entertain me. Would appreciate some people constructive thoughts/opinions on this though.

     

    1900+ (70 games, (for arguments sake, 3 losses)) rated team at the moment. Anyone who is around 1600 (possibly lower) will know that a win will net you around 4-6 rating. Now 1900+ its very very rare you will steamroll a team, and they usually take the full WZ duration. Around 15mins a game. Before i go on, this isnt a maths lesson. So lets say your lucky and have instant ques right. 4 games an hour right? so lets say you get 6 rating per win in that hour, and you win every game. thats 24 rating per hour. That can be a pretty stressful hour as well, you have to be top of your game.

     

    So after your tense/stressful/(fun??) hour of 6 rating for 4 wins youve gained 24 rating. Yay :) Then you get a loss. Now ive not had many of these (see above) but we lost 16 rating. Regardless of how we lost (combination of crap communication/ and lag) end of the day, a loss is a loss and we knew it was comming. Cant win everything right? My 'issue' so to speak is the fact that a whole hour has been spent gaining 8 rating. Now this is best case scenario. In actual fact, our 4 wins last night were 4 per win, and 16 loss, so as a team, we gained nothing after about 1h40mins. Add to that we lost our 2nd game straight after, we spent the rest of the night trying to get back to where we started. 4h.30mins of PVP last night to finish exactly where we started seems harsh.

     

    No im not asking for 'free loot' or any of the usualy ***** this community usually claims people are asking for, i like to earn my gear. I just feel the numbers from either winning OR (preferably) losing are adjusted

     

    TL : DR Anyone else think either the reward for winning, or cost of losing is too low/high? Id be fine with losing the equivalent of 2 games worth of rating, but 4 seems too much imo.

  5. Op healers are probably the most balanced class in game atm. Their other specs need to be buffed or tweaked, but not at the cost of a nerf to their healing. Sage/Sorc needs to be brough up to their level, either by resource or defensively. They still perform though, and very well if played by people who know what they are doing.

     

    Only PTs ive seen in RWZs (1900+) seem to do insane dmg in PVE gear, but go down like sacks of ****. Fair enough imo. Not met a PT that hasnt died in seconds yet.

     

    Marauders, well, their defense is just stupid. Best defense in game for a DPS class? Aye... well played there like. How they made live game like this ill never know. They need to have a dmg nerf when using defensive CDs or something. Having said that, id much prefer to see adjustments/down tuning to Juggernaughts before anything is done with Marauders. I can get past the CC Immune, taunts, charge/intercepts with roots, 6k+ AoE crits etc, but the spamable AoE snare, in any spec they play, is just ridonculous!!

     

    Aint QQing, adjust/adapt/counter etc. Just my 2 cents

  6. (TA/UH consumed instant-cast heal could use a short cooldown or a short timer on how often they can use it without actually consuming TA/UH when used on targets below 30%)

     

    I can kinda see where your coming from with this, but if you play an OP healer, esp in Rated, and your in a situation where ure spamming this ability its 50/50 whether u can keep the target ure healing up or not. Plus if ure in a tight position where ure literally spamming that abilitiy, you cant do anything else, its give up and move on, or continue spamming and hope ure target kills w/e is hitting it b4 u get focused... Again!

     

    Imo, although i would change 1 ability in particular (ie remove it from the game as its crap) Op healers are pretty fine where they are, other healers need to be brought in line defensively perhaps, or have tweaks on their resource, or both??

    You should be punished for a stalemate result. You failed to do what you were supposed to do, achieve the objective. Ties are for kids with hippie parents who don't want to tell them they lost. It's a competition, there must fundamentally be a winner and loser or else there is no point to it all.

     

    You don't want the coin toss? Figure out a better voidstar strat. I watched as the highest rank team on Bastion last night got stalemated in Void (and lost the cointoss) to a team we had just finished stomping handily in Void. Were the second ranked team btw (we've played like 50 less games). Figure out a better strat.

     

    Ok fine, so you will know that its around 6 rating a win right? losing more than that rating, for a stalemate makes no sense, unless BOTH teams lose the rating as by your logic, BOTH teams "failed to do what you were supposed to do, achieve the objective"

  8. Finally we have a winner. If you didn't even plant one bomb you should consider yourself lucky you have a 50/50 shot of not losing rating.

    Out of curiosity, what is you rating?

     

    No team should be punished for a stalemate result. Especially when the punishment is more than 2 wins

  9. Yeah this needs to be fixed. My team has 1 loss to the their name after a draw in Voidstar. I guess im pushing my luck asking for the 'loss' to be removed from my rated tab, and to have the lost rating refunded?

     

    Kinda sucks gaining5 or 6 rating a win, then losing 14 rating for a draw...

    Doesn't Act 2 end after Hoth?

     

    I guess with a group you can do that, but not solo as a level 33.

     

    I completed Act 2 with my characters usually in their low 40s.

     

    Idd it does, however you can get boosted through it, only takes about an hour if you ignore all the other quests. Problem is you need to be 33 to get on to Quesh, as you cant pick up the quest to get on the planet before 33 otherwise you could just blitz the whole story in a couple of hours if you got boosted

  11. so letting a class have the ability to be invunerble 5 ways from sunday, have 20k HP, cast spells, hit like a brick you know what, and invis at will does not bother you, must be your main character.

     

    Is he on about Shadows/Assassins or Marauders/Sents? or a combination of both? Having said that, my Agent has all the above as well

    And your point further down, yeah, hardly any world PVP at all, so when you get some, as Sith, you want it to go the whole way till u win or lose, not till some scared little kid decides he has been outplayed and jumps in a que so he feels like he has won! Pathetic really.

  13. Yeah.. so irritating this is, should have been addressed ages ago!

     

    Its hard enough finding a Republic to actually kill in this 'PVP' zone without it having the ability to 'vanish' whenever it wants just cos its getting smashed to bits!

     

    They even do it when they out number you! Makes me SICK I tell thee!
