  1. I think this thread should just be closed and stay closed if all we can do with our lives is taunt the other country.

We play a game set in the future and from the way we are going right now I doubt we will ever see it.

Sorry, I couldn't resist commenting on this one, I'm a snippy European without anything else to do whilst waiting for our servers to come up.

The game is actually set a "Long, Long time ago, in a galaxy, far, far away....." It says so on the title credits :)

So your post is actually incorrect.

    :)

  2. 99% of people don't want meters to epeen flex so this solves nothing. We want to optimize our rotation.

Then what we need is a damage meter that works just on ourself and not others? Without the ability to spam the results in group/general chat?

I think 99% is a little over exaggerated... lets try something more realistic like 20% :)

  3. You don't need answers. Answering your questions takes away from valuable developer time that could be used fixing problems.

Human nature is such that everyone assumes someone else is doing something.

    Nothing then gets done :)

  4. everything you list is opinion and not fact.

you're a q6 year old world of warcraft player that spent a lot of time complaining in the forums of that game and now you want to bring your venom over to swtor.

    Stick to wow dude..

WOW is still a very good game. it has the things you want.

...and is this not a forum?

fo·rum/ˈfôrəm/Noun: 1.A meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.

So why should he not post here and return to WoW?

Is your post stating that your view is that SWToR is perfect as it is and therefore the developers need do no more to the game?

And if he is 16, the good luck to him, because it was a very very well written post!

  5. It's funny you feel you get to say what is or isn't open to debate. :)

Automated tools throwing people together based on Yoda-knows-what criteria are. not. the. norm.

I keep hearing that people remind each other of the meaning of the "MM" part of MMORPG.

Said "MM" aka Massively Multiplayer, for all purposes and intentions, does *not* equal having an automated LFG feature, getting ported to an instance, running through it without a word then dropping out. Now i know this wouldn't necessarily happen but i can absolutely identify with how it is now, and have experienced no problems whatsoever while trying to find the groups for whatever content.

The ultimate tool to find groups is...to look for them. Like, talking to people. Old concept i know but it totally works.

It's funny that you feel you get to say whether people should receive a tool that allows them to quickly and easily organise a flashpoint. :)

If you play on a server where every general chat request for a flashpoint is followed by instantaneous plea's for invites then congratulations.

For me, despite being on a server that is full most of the day, people's requests for groups tend to be greeted with, "can you please stop that *********** spam, nobody wants to play with you". (I hasten to add this is not aimed at me, but have seen it often enough.)

By the way, not only WoW operates an LFG, it is fairly common place.

I don't PvP, so should I campaign for PvP to be removed from the game as it doesn't agree with my playstyle?

  6. Staring at a queue screen is better?

That isnt the point I'm trying to make, nor is it, I think, what others are making either.

I feel sorry for the poor buggers who have spent £100 or whatever the special sooper dooper deluxe version of this game was, so they can look at queue screens.

Your inability to at the very least acknowledge that people do have at least a right to not be happy with the situation is a shame.

  7. Then have fun waiting in queues I guess. You people are ridiculous.

How much time do some people have to play? The general idea seems to be roll a toon on a server with no queue. So you do that, and play to level 10 say, and then you log off and that server has a queue, so you start a new toon on a new server... and so on and so on...

All you people saying play on a server that hasn't got a queue, do you have level 10's dotted all over the place? Do you just want to see starter areas?

Personally I want to play the toon I have devoted time to on the server my guild and I were assigned. I don't want to replay the starter areas on 12 different servers.

Is this such an unfair request?

  8. I'm by no means an official but I would have thought the only real way, would be for you not to level your toons and tread water until everyone is together.

The early access was supposed to be random mind you, so if you pre-ordered late I believe you will have as much chance as anyone else in getting 5 days playtime before release.
