[Design Notes - Game Update 1.1]

Unable to comment on the content of Patch 1.1 as I, along with perhaps hundreds (if not thousands) of your customers are still unable to play the game. Check out ALL of the threads in the Support forum regarding people that can't get past the Launcher screen.

[Forum Search Feature? Please?]

These forums are SO active it's nearly impossible to find anything on a specific subject.

 

Is there a forum search feature and I've just not found it yet?

 

If there's not, then why not?

 

The search feature on forums is not exactly revolutionary at this point in time; it's pretty much an expected function.

[Please add a "sound in background" option.]

Absolutely agree with this.

 

Dual display. Self-employed, often keeping up with email and responding to clients on one screen while game running in other.

 

This is not a show-stopper, but it IS a basic functionality that already exists in previous generation MMOs. LOTRO and EVE both, as far as I recall, had an option to toggle "Sound in Background"

 

Please add this feature.

There are dozens of servers with Heavy and Very Heavy loads; hundreds of thousands of people are playing the game and loving it; including my son and me.

 

The very small, albeit vocal minority, on these forums are writing here because they are, for the most part, NOT enjoying the game for one reason or another.

 

But the 1 Million+ subscribers that are actively playing the game are not here, because frankly we're playing the **** game! and loving it!

[Email Bug - Double Names & Subject Line - Workaround]

If you are in a Guild you may have noticed this.

 

Situation: Emailing someone that is on your Friends list and also in your Guild

 

Symptoms: You type their name, and it shows up as two options. It also "covers up" the subject field so you can't see what you are typing.

 

Work Around: Remove guild members from your Friends list for now, and that won't happen any more.

 

Hopefully this is a temporary solution until they fix the bug.

Ah, I see - thank you. (Demonstrating my ignorance of overall Star Wars lore...) lol

Was on Nar Shaddaa and the GTN terminal there did not show the same listings as the terminals on Taris and Coruscant.

 

I had assumed GTN was global, but perhaps it is just within the same sector.

 

Does anyone know if this is as intended? or is it a bug?
