  1. My understanding was that I have to have 5 points in a tier to advance. In both cases, I have to fill the whole tier out to get 5 points. For Neural overload, I could take that point out and use it for Hyper Fuel and still have 5 for the tier. The point of that though is it's an additional chance to slow targets without actually having to hit extra buttons and I thought that was a good thing...

That's not quite true, you have to spend 5 points in previous tiers to unlock the next, so: -

You have to spend 5 points in tier one to unlock tier 2 then,

you have to spend 5 points in tier 1 & 2 to unlock tier 3, then

you have to spend 5 points in tier 1, 2 & 3 to unlock tier 4 etc etc,

This way you can easily build a PvE spec without including any PvP related talents.

The slow referred to in the PvP related abilities is a movement slow and nothing more, this is incredibly useful in a PvP situation but really not all that useful in a PvE situation. Even less useful in a Flashpoint or Operations group, so the abilities that provide it are generally avoided in an end game PvE build.

  2. As a guild we've joined the parsec gang, really liking the software so far.

One thing we'd really like to see alongside the individual fight break down is an overall raid stats page also. It wouldn't necessarily need to be as detailed as the individual fight break downs, perhaps just simply the information already displayed on the raid tab (ie Overall DPS, HPS, TPS etc for the entire session).

Apologies if this has already been mentioned, I haven't been through the entire thread. If this is already in there somewhere and we've just missed it then please feel free to point the way :)

  3. I'll happily add my name to this thread as also suffering from this issue.

I can confirm that it happens 100% of the time when joining a group on a planet and switching instance to join the group leader. I can also confirm that this never happens when joining a flashpoint or operation group and zoning in via the LFG tool or manually.

I loose all targeting apart from the red circle around the targets feet. Occasionally one target will keep it's arrow and targeting information even when targeting another member of the encounter. This doesn't always seem to be the case though, I can also confirm that the only thing that seems to work as for resolving the issue is leaving the game in some way, either logging out or crashing as previously described.

This is a major pain and has been for some time, can make grouping dangerous as you're often not certain what you're actually targeting.

  4. Just wanted to add my name to the list.

The sound stutters when switching locations involves a laoding screen and is extremely immersion breaking. The stutter gets worse and worse depending on how many area switches you make in a play session. Restarting the game completely removes the stutter and then slowly but surely it returns getting louder and longer the more time's you switch within a single play session.

I too have only experienced this since 2.0. initially thinking it was my PC, I'm now certain it's not related to overheating or hard drives running slow but now have no idea what the cause could be. I have bug reported it in game also just to be on the safe side.
