  1. my opinion as a sage healer as long as you have a guard its fine as it is now ,

     

    without a guard you have to be a bit more mobile and think a bit more but if your saying you just want to stand there and free cast your wrong and also its boring ,

     

    there is alot wrong with ToR but this is not one of them

  2. I thought warhammer online was essentially a flop.

     

    Best pvp game i have played for mass open rvr , Let down by poor implementations of there content revamps , 1.36 was the best era of the game imo , 1.4 ruined the game

     

    some of the same guys are here i belive , but there are some great things in tor i would say what i wanted in WAR but there are no orvr lakes to fight in ,

    I will be leaving for another game that offers what i want to play most ,

    In that game i have already had some great game moments , its a shame i have to wait to play it again ,

    I detest hutball with a passion and like the new one ,

    another opinion ,

    quicker they put in the function u can choose the wz's u would like to play will mean more people happy and less people leaving (well 1 less reason to leave ),

     

    but until Orvr is brought back i wont be happy , At least ill get my fix in beta this week end

    nice looking game ,

    for an mmo feels like a single player game

    no open world pvp that works

    if you want when you pve you can ride around any world in the game and if you dont want combat other that the quest u r on then you wont be tagged ,that makes no sence when you are freeing world after world ,

    crafting is very bad good intentions poor execution

    Game dificulty is very easy ,

    all through set up and beta there was meaning that guilds would have a big part of this game , allies and adversaries

    but there was no guild utilities to use when on release,

    WZ's you cant choose what ones you would like to play ,

    Hutball good idea , move it to its own league

     

    whats the point of faster speeders when you live on the fleet at max lvl , there is no reason to leave the fleet , this nice looking game wasted,

    too many bugs in flash points /ops that have not been fixed , but i have to say the length of time to complete an ops or flashpoint is just right ,

     

    for me the game is lacking a reason

  5. until we get the choice of playing the wz we would like to play you cant add penalties for leaving quiting a wz ,

     

    if you crash / dc you can not re-enter that wz so will you lock someone out of wz for the next 15 mins because they crashed/dc'd ?

     

    so it is not as easy as some people think to solve ,

  6. - Ilum? No serious PvPer cares about it.

    - It may be faulty, but even a kid could program a basic premade-vs-premade warzone. Ops leader -> right click on other ops leader (or via \ranked LeaderName or other command) -> queue ranked warzone. If other ops accepts it and they are both made of 8 players they start (or are queued for) a random warzone. Was this SO difficult? It's really simple, but would be a great beginning for organized PvP.

     

    And let me say, PvP IS GvG.

     

    Thats your view , i see real pvp as in orvr guild v guild or small scale gvg but over large terrain areas with objectives with and realm faction effects on ,

     

    not wzs in stale enviorments where nothing changes,

  7. Well all my guild has pre ordered gw2 , also all the other guilds that we came to tor with or was matched as an adversary has left and going to gw2 ,

     

    what was advertised has not been delivered

     

    We came for the orvr , had to rush to 50 to be able to sample it , and then was bitterly disapointed in the vision that was ilum ,

     

    the fact that it was unplayable because of lag was another big issue ,

     

    GW2 might not be the game either but it wont be because they have not got a vision of good orvr system but because of server instability like TOR

     

    either way i will not be comming back to tor , you have 1 shot at keeping your playerbase and delivering what was advertised is one of them ,

     

    If TOR was a juggler i think it dropped the ball

  8. but on paper, initial videos gw2 has a very good orvr system

    that is what i and other guilds came to stor for and what was advertised ,

     

    now that has been abandoned here we are just waiting to go there to play , no subscription is a bonus

     

    Gear is good but as long as the game play and objectives work people wont worry about no gear progression ,

     

    best times in WAR was when everyone was max lvl 80 ,

  9. For the record: The best english speaking guilds in Europe rolled on TOFN because of a pre-launch initiative by the best guilds in warhammer, aion, rift and wow.

     

    How many of those guilds are left playing this game ,

     

    that should tell BW the state of there PVP and ORVR

  10. all wz just turn into tdm, so adding a ctf will just be another tdm

     

    ctf is not that fun either it is so 90's its been done 100's of times and best suited to fps games ,

  11. I think they should make a fresh hutball arena or like a rollerball type of match , but then seperate it into its own ranked area ,

     

    It has its own type of play style that differs from the more traditional Alderan or voidstar maps

     

    My own oppinion i do not like it and cant wait for the option not to play it ,

  12. PVP should all be about orvr ,

     

    Engaging objectives of small to large importance using various size buildings , strongholds , bunkers , that have a galatic effect on the side that meats the controlling /wining criteria

     

    balance should be based on group play , ( I think imo stor is pretty well balanced there obv some tweaks hear and there but still good, )

     

    Wz's sc's should be something on the side to compliment orvr ,

    arena's should be someware where you can just go and have a laugh and playabout alla EQ1 arenas ,

    Normal Fights are 4v4, 8v8, battle royal at the end ,

    1 healer per 4 no battle res

  14. I would normally agree with saying good job Bioware but..................

    6 years in development, 300 million dollars spent, a longer than usual beta and this is the end result? 50 million dollar budget yes great job. 300 million dollar budget sub par at best. Fanboi or not the facts can not be ignored!

    basic guild functions not in at release , instance based orvr , no sence of mass population apart from on the fleet station

     

    to easy to progress through the game

     

    all items basicly given to players not worked for ,

     

    3 wz only every fps has more maps at release with no sub ,

     

    but this is a good single player game to 50 and not bad for a pve player.

     

    for pvp player very lacking and why most of the pvp guilds on nadd are planning to leave or have just left ,

    not bad for the most populated euro server

    I seen a few of your posts and they are all anti PVP ,

     

    can i ask why you dont like pvp so much ,

     

    I can tell you there are at least 2 severs active atm who definatly have a playerbase that is pvp heavy , for you too say and keep saying this is not a pvp game there is not the playerbase for it is wrong ,

     

    Allot of the WAR comunity came here also rift and the pvp players from wow

     

    it was advertised to have exciting openworld pvp as well as warzones for people to fight so why would we not expect to have pvp

     

    there is room and a good online game now should have both types of play

     

    and if you are so against it , why keep posting in the pvp forums ,

     

    are u just trolling ??

    i thought WAR was a great game untill patch 1.4 , it was just never developed and the population left to eventually come hear.

     

    In WaR at least you had mass openworld pvp, or my preferred size 1,2 group action , where you could use tacktics, have to think a bit and also effect the realm battle to the city ,

     

    hear In starwars i have the PVE content i wanted in WaR for the distraction when i was pvped out , but have no pvp to speak of at all, WZ's do not = pvp to me
