I just finished the BH story and I have to move it to the bottom. So anti-climactic....So now I would say:

maybe because people(fans) like this game and don't want it to be exclusive for the boys with the fat pockets? maybe because BioWare lied about a great deal of things including the CM, as they said before" Its not P2W" yet people are making Millions from it. or maybe because they pissed on the subscribers and there is no reason to subscribe for anyway?
But, it's just a reputation? If you're a completionist and you abso-friggin'-lutely have to have this rep, then realize it comes with a price. Most reps require a time investment; this one requires a financial investment (either coins or creds).
This smacks of the same type of attitude that wants raid gear because "they gotta have it" yet doesn't want to make the required sacrifice to obtain said armor. Sorry, bro. If you don't like the system, vote with your wallet.

Already voted, my sub wont renew anymore. The problem is that this establishes a direction in development that will focus on adding content that will be only achievable if more money from the user base is spent, on top of what is already paid ( like it has been happening since the cartel was introduced) . But i guess you cant think that far ahead, have fun when they do the same with top end gear, I will go ahead say to you that its not p2win , no one is forcing you to buy top raiding gear, and you can get the tokens by spending credits on gtn to buy the packs, no real problem there bro , u mad ? Vote with your wallet.
You are a very angry little Jawa. I suggest getting some sun. And good for you, you voted with your wallet! It's the best way to effect change in this game. Don't support what you don't like. It's a bit of a leap to bring raid gear into the equation since it's not what the topic is about, but I do heartily appreciate your attacks on me.

Fastest way to level? Buy the 30% Class Mission legacy perk with credits, wait for Friday at 2pm eastern, take advantage of the double XP weekends. Bada bing, bada boom.

So bioware you probably made millions already from ppl that got suckered into this system and bought enough packs to become legend. Can you revert back to something reasonable, something that subscribers don't need to pay EXTRA money to achieve , or is the direction of the game gonna be this ? New content will be achievable by people that pay extra fees on top of the subscription ?
Legend status in two days? My friend, if they got to legend status in two days then having a so-called 'pay to win' reputation (lolz) is the very, very, VERY least of their problems. Folks getting upset over a reputation for Cartel Market buyers is just ... I mean ... it's just ... wow. Really? It's a rep, folks. A REP. You can buy some of the stuff with credits. If you don't like the way they handle it, then don't do it. End of story. It's not meant to be blitzed to Legend status in a week. It's probably meant to be reached sometime two years down the road. The only legitimate argument here is making the certificates BoL. That's actually a very smart idea.
Why does everything have to be consumed so quickly? I just don't get it. QQ all you want. Bioware can do what they like in their game. You don't like it? Vote with your wallet and stop crying.

who are you to say why i bought my CE? i got it for the CE Store in game, thats the only reason. just cause it comes with other stuff does not mean thats what ppl bought it for.
edit: and how is paying $80 instead of $150 make you more of a "die-hard" item collector? CE's got 2 additional items and the CE Store with our copies, Mr Die- Hard item collector. lol
Wait, they say DD guys are more 'item-collectors' than CE owners? Uh, I've got a statue of Darth Malgus on my desk. Collect that.

So you forced players to abandon servers and now you're going to open them back up to handle to influx of new F2P people? I don't see the current servers taking in tens of thousands of new players.

Actually the digital deluxe edition does have access to a store in the VIP lounge, and was promised access to future digital updates via that Shop. However, all that was ever added was an overpriced money sink of a speeder. Nothing else was ever done with the shop. So the digital deluxe owners actually got shafted pretty bad with that, and thus deserve continued access as well.
I recommend you look at this site. It's the official SWTOR site where you can buy this game. If you look carefully, you will see that no, you don't have access to the special CE store. Thank you for playing. Try the veal.

DE owners paid more than the release edition too, though.
But you weren't promised ongoing access to a special shop in a special part of the space station that only CE owners (and those that spend a mil on a bracelet) are allowed to be in with goods that will be unfurled as the game ages, and only we would be able to buy the stuff there. So. Yeah. There's that. I was. Got the box to prove it.

By extra charachters they mean you can only use 1 from subscription ?
They haven't clarified that yet. Expect more info in August.

What happens if I decide to change from being a subscription player to a Free-to-Play member? What will happen to my credits, inventory, bank items, and characters?
Your account will automatically be downgraded and it will operate under the Free player restrictions. You will need to choose what items to keep with you within the restriction levels of the free access. Furthermore, you will be able to see, but not use, your excess credits, inventory slots, bank tabs, and extra characters.

Simple answer to all these threads:
When announced the CE was supposed to get additional exclusive digital good in the future, the DDE never made any mention of it.
Logically, the DDE is not entitled to new digital goods.
Choices/Consequences.
This man has the pulse of the situation. We were promised extra goodies in the future for being CE owners. As most of these 'extra goodies' are now probably going to be converted to cash shop items, we CE owners are pretty screwed.
Also, why so mad? I spent $150 on a CE box for a game that went F2P inside of 1 year. I don't really think I'd term myself the 'winner' in this situation.

Same story here ... moved from Shien to Ebon Hawk today and as of 5 minutes ago (12:32am ET) there were 317 people in the Rep Fleet. 39 on Tatooine alone, which means that Tat was better populated than Shien's Imperial Fleet by 33%.
Amazing job so far. The server was hoppin' tonight.
