  1. DRS are looking for 2-3 good DPS for one of their progression teams which currently raids on thurs/mon @ 20-2300 BST.

     

    This team currently is at 2/5 in both ops, working on torque and lurker HM but have been distracted by Monolith HM last week.

     

    -Casual raid team all mature +25 and looking for similar people who fit in

    -You should be able to use TS3 and able to understand english.

    -We use starparse like most others for timers and stat tracking

     

    We are preferably looking for Mercs or Snipers though we could consider sorcs or juggs/powertechs as well.

  2. Detoxified Raven Squad is looking for more HM Progression raiders to take part in progression ops.

     

    We are an English speaking guild who mainly raid between 2000-2300 GMT/British Time

     

    We need two DPS and one heal. Preferably marauder/sniper/mercenary for the DPS and sorcerer or mercenary for the healer.

     

    We are a fairly relaxed progression team, currently upto Grob'thok in DF NIM and making steady progress along S&V/TFB NIM.

     

    We need members who want DRS as their main guild and are able to commit to coming to the operations, looking for a mature team who arnt the best top NIM raiders, but like more challenging content as part of a large guild.

     

    We will need to know your experience of current ops , gearing and get some parses of your current rotations to check you are good for HM + ops.

     

    There is additional SM ops run by the guild or open HM ops in addition to pvp/conquest for playtime outside of progression ops.

  3. The amount of gold spam is getting out of hand, there is a constant stream of spammers on starting planet and especially on fleet. No matter how often each one is reported and ignored, a new one appears!

     

    A couple of ideas:

     

    -Detention for new characters who have links to goldseller accounts. Automatically chat mute characters who come from suspicious locations/IPs of accounts already banned

    -Auto detention if X reports received from different accounts

  4. Our english speaking guild Order of Light currently has about 6 regular players and another 4-6 casual players (dont attend every week) for ops running. We usually have 6-7 people running ops on weds & thurs nights. Typically we run DF/DP/TFB/S&V SM for comms and some underworld gear. We are currently trying to progress on the HM versions progress wise.

     

    We use TS3, not ultra hardcore, some of us upload our logs to torparse and try to improve, some dont - we are mainly casual when it comes to ops attitude.

     

    We are looking if there is another guild in similar position and ops nights who we could ally with and from there have a shared pool of people to run ops and maybe have regular pool of members who can run 16m combined. We want to keep our guild identity currently so not looking to merge right now.

     

    Full timer roles we have (primary first):

    • Tank/RDPS/Healer
    • MDPS/RDPS/Heal
    • Heal/DPS
    • Heal/Tank
    • MDPS
    • MDPS
    • RDPS

     

    +5 assorted part timers

  5. As someone mentioned, you can lock them. Click the little padlock icon on your action bar. I think there may be a setting in preferences too to have it locked by default.

     

    There is a bug where the skillbar is incorrectly showing as locked, but actually isnt, I think I see it most after a respec for eg.

     

    I think this is easily solveable, by making a rule that skills cannot be unbound from the skillbar when in combat. This is the one situation everyone hates and the one we want to avoid.

  6. the proxies seem to be overloaded from amount of people trying to login at once, i got in once, but not again.

    Can I confirm I am not bugged since my lvl 50 friends have very different stats from same ratings as me

     

    My current character sheet (lvl 55 vangaurd tank) says:

     

    Shield Chance: 34.99 / Shield Rating: 639

    Shield Absorb: 36.9 / Absorb Rating: 528

    Defense Chance: 12.72 / Defense Rating: 115

     

    Reason I ask is my lvl 50 friends have similar ratings but double the % gain.

     

    Also what is with the alacrity/def chance on the new gear for vanguards, is this relevent or another one of those deliberate moves to make us buy several sets of legs again and use the mods from those?

  8. As someone where the patching normally takes place during my play time, allow me to not shed a single tear for the one time the rest of you get affected :)

     

    It also makes sense, they will have the servers up and get feedback and wide user testing at the start of their workday and able to apply critical fixes before it hits your playtime the following evening US prime playtime.

  9. Every day, the same questions in fleet chat over and over from new players wanting to know how to get their advanced class and then how to equip their offhands. Whilst most of us have the patience to answer them, the real fault lies with BW and how they implemented this extremely vital part of the New Player Experience (NPE)

     

    Visiting the Advanced Class Trainer

     

    The preceding mission is board a shuttle to fleet, once that is complete, the next step should not be "board a shuttle to (dromund/coruscant) " but visit <appropriate adv class trainer>. Once the player has done that, then they can go to the next planet.

     

    Im not sure whether this was done deliberately to give the players a choice of skipping picking an advanced class or just under the assumption they would go the main level and not just go straight to next planet.

     

    Advanced Class Equipment

     

    The next most common point of confusion is the supply pack. This is added to inventory when you hit select and pick and adv class. There should be an obvious dialogue here to tell the user they have received a vital piece of equipment and should equip it.

     

    Perhaps the trainers could be split into two and you must select one of them and complete through the visit "assassin trainer" or visit "sorcerer trainer" to hear about and pick your class. The items are given as reward there.

     

     

    On behalf of all of us who domt mind answering these questions in chat over and over but would like the NPE to be less confusing - please consider changing this :)

  10. I am wondering how customizable this option is going to be.

     

    For instance on my Marauder I would like only cetain buff's/proc's (Blood Frenzy, Gore) to be larger on my own Player Frame.

     

    For another example will I be able to make my Sorcerer's DOT's appear larger on the Target Frame while leaving other icons smaller?

     

    Its not that fancy, it resizes buffs and debuffs separately (makes them upto 5 times bigger or perhaps smaller if you want to minmise buffs out of the way) but cant distinguish by the individual source or type.

  11. From latest patch notes on PTS

     

    A new option has been added to Operation, Party, player, and target frames to resize buffs and debuffs.

     

    Nothing more frustrating than having to stare at a tiny square to spot a cleanse needed.

Has anyone else noticed that one party member gets one hit killed by spike now after he stealths, twice now on two different characters, I was the recipient of a 26k HP hit one shotting me dead. I swear it was much lower before the patch and not 1 shot people. Is it a new change, or old change I have just not encountered before or a bug?
  13. Order of Light is a casual republic guild of mature people who like to run operations and other endgame content. We are an english speaking guild from all over europe and currently run operations on a wedesday and thursday night.

     

    We currently are looking to try and form a second ops team and are looking specifically for people with healer, tank or ranged dps characters and are willing to at least listen on teamspeak if they want to be part of the ops teams.

     

    Right now we have tackled everything up to TFB SM (3/5) and currently run EC SM regularly for gear and weeklies alongside running lower teir ops as needed for alts or new members wanting to gain experience or gear.

     

    Besides ops, we run the usual sleu of datacron and world boss evenings as desired and try to coordinate with our sister guild on the empire side for some fun RP PVP nights.
