  1. I look forward to getting a REAL apprentice who's an actual, fellow Dark Side Sith. He's medium armor, right? If so I'm going to just strip Ashara of all her awesome gear & give it to him. That'll teach her ungrateful self.

Xalek wears light armor and using dual-bladed saber.

  2. How bout this build? I was taking more of the holy paladin approach where you hammer every so often to keep regen up. With the talent in lightening-Subversion you use lightening strike to keep regen up. Thoughts?

In 16 HM/NM man raids you cant really afford wasting force and time to build 3 stacks and then keep em up - you must be focused on raid's HP bars, as damage sometimes gets pretty spiky. So you either heal or waiting/regenerating mana. If you had 3 stacks for example, and was okay with keeping em up, then things got bad and you had to spam heals like insane - you will loose all those stacks (or someone will die if you try casting lightning).

At least that is mine understanding of healer and my approach to raid healing.

  3. Did BioWare at some point say they'd add the armoring mod into both PVE and PVP gear, so we'd be allowed to pull out ALL mods? I thought I read this somewhere.

From QaA that was released recently:

Bobonar: Will we be able to take the modifications out of our endgame pvp-sets and put them into a set that we like better (design-wise) and keep the bonuses?

Emmanuel Lusinchi: Yes, the set bonus will be carried by Armoring mods that work just like regular mods except that they only fit into specific types of items, such as chest items or boots items. So, for example, the set bonus from a chest piece can be moved to another chest piece, and the set bonus from a helmet can be moved to another helmet.

  4. In my opinion 31th point talent in healing tree is must have, because sometimes you just dont have enough time to heal whole group one by one, but AoE heal doing that job perfectly.

The other use of Revification is to place it under tank (with Force Bending effect) for good extra heal to aid you if tank got hit way too hard.

Electric Induction is also essential for healer, since OP already have force issues.

Only one advice in general - if OP really want to heal and to dps, just wait for dual spec patch, but until then just either heal or dps, but dont try to do both at the same time.

  5. No offence meant, but bro, I am healer (Sith Sorc), and my groups have to selfheal only after certain bossfights in hardmodes. And I dont even need to regain my force back after trashfights, so what Im trying to tell you - not always people you are playing with is bad. Sometimes you just refuse to blame yourself.

After lvl 40-45 (depends how you built your character) you will get some essential spells that will make your life easier, just keep practicing with heals.

  6. As some people mentioned on forums, there is quite big diminishing starts after certain level of critical stat (somewhere around 32-33% iirc) so after reaching those numbers you may consider getting alacrity as well. I am healer, and I had alot of situations where fast casting was needed alot, I guess all of you guys were in those situations.

But as for surge, it doesnt seem to have diminishings so we should stack it as much as possible.
