  1. More missions to actually get mats.

So tired of 4 out of 6 mission being the stuff we can buy for a pittance at the crew skill vendors. I want MATERIALS not stuff I can buy at a vendor.

I've even seen an entire tier of nothing but hypos and processor missions. This is ridiculous. And please don't tell me about changing instances or going to my ship or whatever, when I am out doing things I actually want to to, I don't have time to screw around with hokey workarounds. Just make the missions for things that we actually need more prevalent.

  2. Crafting is boring and slow. We can choose to run 1 flashpoint a day and get conquest points. Hooray, 20 minutes of fun per day.

I sit here and look at the objectives and just end up logging out. The sheer drudgery is retarded. I know you want players to play your game for a long time. But this is ridiculous. Now I have to have a spreadsheet to cap my character for the week. Make sure to do this every day, craft X number of items, make sure to kill this bonus boss. Have to log in every single day to do that H2 quest.

You had me the 1st 2 weeks, now, I am probably going to let my sub run out, because conquest just became another job. And I already have one of those.

I despise PvP and it is completely unfair that the people who PvP can do exactly what they want to do and earn CQ points. Meanwhile, PvE has to jump through hoops.

Not enjoying the new stuff after the changes made is 2.9a, b and c. Nothing is repeatable anymore, the only thing that is repeatable is PvP crap. I don't play this game to PvP.

  3. Shame I have to play without hearing the voiceovers, seeing as how I turn the voice volume down because hearing the same companion chatter over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over gets old after about 15 minutes.

Perhaps a simple toggle to turn off the inane chatter of your companions?

  4. I hae a 55 sorc, I heal on her, pretty decent. I also have a 55 Assassin and a 55 PT. I want to have one of each role. So I leveled both the 'Sin and the PT as tanks. That is all I know how to do with either. I want to turn one of them into a solid dps. However, I am not really all that concerned with viability unless one of them is so poorly designed as to be nonfunctional. What I am concerned with is ease of play. I solo with them both, everyday I do dailies with all 3. I would like to know which is the easier to play as a dps. Complicated priority systems and complex rotations turn me off. So my questions:

Which has the easier rotation and which tree would that be?

Which has the easier time soloing dailies as a dps?

Money isn't an object I can throw a bunch of money at them to get them into 66's pretty easily. Thanks for your time.

  5. I honestly never bothered with a second saber for Ashara. I have been looking into getting her another, but I'm cheap... and she does just five with the one. I used her leveling as soon as I got her and she helped me chew through mobs better than Andronikos or Xalek once I got him. But like the poster above me said, secondary sabers are more for added stats (and looking awesome imo :p) than pumping out massive damage. If I'm not mistaken, in most games the damage done with the offhand is never really on par with main hand/primary.

This is a mistake, the 2nd saber does do a bit of damage, not much, but can add quite a bit of force power. Any extra damage is better than none. At 55, decked out she is a monster.

  6. I have recently returned to SWToR (Read couple days ago) and am considering playing it for an extended time. The guild I was in has evidently collapsed since I find myself the guildmaster and no one else ever logs on. I am a social creature by nature and am looking for a new guild to be social with. I generally lurk until I see a thread with fun people then I make my presence known. I am considering joining HFC. Questions? I just want friendly, engaging, funny people to chat with while I level. I am mainly a leveler and GTN whore, when I left I have something like 3m credits with nothing to spend if on. I have a 50 sorc I might start leveling again, but right now I am focused on getting my Jugg to act 2 so I can have the mega buff.

Do you only recruit subscribers? I am currently subbed, but I am fickle with subscription fees. How many people are on in your guild on avg, prime time (altho I play all day, I am on disability)

  7. Leveling is slow?

    /facepalm

Leveling is not slow in SWTOR. Trust me, the people who think leveling is too slow are the ones who will complain that there is nothing to do endgame. I can remember games that took 6+ months to a year to reach max level. It is a shame that the next gen gamer is more concerned with the result than the journey. That is not intended to be an insult, just saying that 10 years ago, people seemed to have more fun playing games and less time complaining on the forums.

  8. I do have understanding of the lore. What you don't seem to understand is that it makes no sense to do these things in this game. That's what we are debating here and not Star Wars lore. How does it make sense to have a Chiss bounty hunter or an Imperial Agent with Force Choke? Because they had a Sith pureblood in the family? That doesn't make sense at all.

All i am saying is if Bioware wants to introduce new abilities make them class specific so they make sense instead of ripping off those of other classes. I can think of a bunch right now that they could implement that would at least make sense and would fit in with lore as well. For example a BH could have a flight ability during their heroic moment. A Jedi could have an area of effect Force push. A Consular could be granted an area of effect stun. I can think of many more.

And shooting lighting from your hands is totally rational.

    Selective suspension of belief FTL.

  9. I really wish you could get more cred's to off set the loss of XP, not all of us are rich at 50. I have a lvl 50 and a lvl 47 and combined have less then 500k cred's, but I like to buy stuff and don't grind PvP, dailies or space combat.

So you like to have money, but not actually do anything to get it?

    Seriously?

And why is this someone else's problem? Newsflash, if you are lazy, you don't get anything for it.

  10. In my opinion, all of the things you've listed are quite repetitive and quickly become very boring. Except, if you are interested in exploring other story lines then there is a lot of new content.

However, if you really enjoy your main character and want to play it, there is not much to do other than grind.

OP: Most level 50's feel the same as you. Personally, I like to pvp but I refuse to go to Ilum due to the horrible performance. So, I do a lot of warzones. Warzones can be fun if you are in a good guild and can get a premade.

So all the things you can do after 50 are invalid because you don't like to do them?

    /boggle

Plenty to do, becuz you don't like to do them isn't BW fault.

  11. I understand what Legacy means and I agree with a lot of the Legacy adds that they are doing. My point isn't that they are being too creative and they need to be bland. And I know the force is passed down through generations and all that. But as much as this is a Role Playing game and they are adding things to interest Role Players more, they also need to keep in mind that it is a game that needs to based on equality. The sides need to be equal to eachother in terms of influence/power/playability/etc. I'm not proposing that all classes on both sides are exactly equal (what would be the point of having two factions if that were the case) but unless Bioware can promise that there is no way for this to be used in any type of PvP sense then it does effect gameplay. Any open world PvP zone will have people running around using force powers when they didn't make a force user.

It might sound like whining to you but to me it's just a common sense type of thing. Make an enjoyable game that everyone can play without having to worry about adding even more stuff to unbalance the game.

Admittedly I wasn't thinking of the actual RP'ers when I first posted (because I don't play that way) and can see, after reading replies, that it does have a merit in a strictly RP sense. But they need to keep it that way. There are plenty of other RP stuff they could add that don't include 'breaking' classes. And I say breaking in the sense that, if you make a class not able to use force powers then keep it that way. Doesn't matter to me if it's one ability only usable in certain circumstances with a 20 min. CD. Maybe I'm just a traditionalist but classes need to have their own place.

Disagree completely. This is what is wrong with games these days, they cater to nongamers. There is no such thing as balance, there never will be. Trying to balance a game will ruin it and water it down to a boring game. Stop worrying about what everyone else is doing and play the game for you.

This is why PvP destroys games. So many people worried about the other guy "owning" them, instead of playing the game the devs make and be happy. The new generation of "gamers" (and I use the term VERY loosely) are nothing but complainers. I saw a post the other day that complained about changing the graphics of creds when you loot them.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't, the new MMO meme. Stop worrying about balance and just play the damn game.
