  1. Just like every other game on the market. If you want free transfers, your options are limited. If you want to transfer anywhere, you had better pony up.

    Now, why is it bad for Bioware to do this, but not for WoW? I'll be awaiting your answer.

    You are naive if you thought free transfers meant you can transfer wherever you want. No game does this.

    Actually there is a game that does this....Rift. Its totally free and just has a cap of 1 transfer a week.

  2. I got two bigs about this, I also tried to get in the suggestion box (see my sig);

    I really miss an option to show a 24hr clock instead of the default am/pm we have here as english client users living in europe but not even actually use am/pm much.

    Second as a healer I really miss a "target of focus frame", so I could focus the boss and see what he is targeting so I can save my targeting for heals instead of checking now and then the boss its target.

    Read my post above yours...cause your problem can also be solved by Heal Tgts Tgt function :)

  3. Yes I know its bad to mention other games but....in Rift there was a Attack/Heal Tgts tgt.

    To apply this to SWTOR:

    If I have the boss targeted my heals would heal whoever the boss has targeted automatically.

    If I have the tank targeted my damage would hit the tanks target automatically.

    Right now in SWTOR you have to click each person you want to heal/attack.

    This ability can solve people attacking mobs that the tank is not attacking and also helps with healing fights such as Bonethrasher who just randomly targets people.

    With Bonethrasher for example as a healer I currently have a dps call out who the boss is targeting and we shield/heal that person. With the Heal Tgts Tgt function you would take out this need to call names out on voice communication thus allowing dps/tanks to focus more on doing their job.

  4. Instead of doing the same dailies every day which gets really boring...make them random.

    Cut the amount of dailies in half, double the reward, and make them random.

    Don't make them random by player but random by world or server or day so that every player still has to do the same ones and can do them together however, you may not have to do the ones you did yesterday.

    With the Rakghoul Plague event (when it was going on), plus Belsavis/Ilum/Corellia dailies, plus space daily, plus pvp daily.......Dailies took a really long time.

    So bottom line the suggestion is to make the dailies random which will make them not so boring and you never know which dailies you will get.....unless you guys make it a pattern of course.

  5. of course there will be trolls, but an actual point they can rally their rage behind would be foolish on biowares part, especially when coupled with basic things like complications arising and having things pushed back. this would cause a ton more harm than good imo.

    Not having something because some people are going to post responses that nobody will read because we all know they are just crying/raging/trolling is not a good reason.

    More people would appreciate knowing what is going on behind the scenes more than the amount of people that would just rage. Even if it gave you something to rage about....you still know what is going on. So let the ragers rage and the people who just want to be informed be informed. Sucks to be the ragers hearts and pocket books with all that high blood pressure lol.

  6. This is really getting farcical. On the one hand we've got people on this server called Fatman complaining about queues... and yet still joining this massively over-subscribed server... and on the other we have people crying for lighter population servers to be merged... in order to recreate the problem.

    If having other players around a lot is more important to you than server performance and speed of logging on... then roll on a high population server. If being able to log in quickly and quest successfully without wading through a sea of laggy other players and queue for decades to get in in the first place is more important to you... roll on a low population server.

    Server *transfers* are the solution, of course, since that way when your server's population changes, you can shift your character to suit your own preference... but getting *rid* of light servers is a slap in the face to those who actually prefer it that way.

    You have a good point however, I am willing to bet that the people making the "Merge Servers" comment do not want long queue times...just a larger pool of people to run operations and flashpoints with not to mention increasing the GTN action.

    Just take Kaiburr Crystal for example...

    1.2 came out and the max I think I saw on fleet was just over 70....today the number is back down to 27. You just cant play an MMO with so few people. Yea operations have a max of 16 people. However, how many of those 27 are tanks and healers? Im willing to bet 25 of them are dps. Will they reroll to tank or heals? Of course not because they want to play how they want to play.

    Merging at least 3 low pop servers should not make a ridiculous queue time and its all we are asking for.

  7. My suggestion is to detach the buff/debuffs bars from the portraits and let them be re-sizable and moveable. Even having the individual buff/debuff icons seperate from each other would be awesome so then I could have my debuffs and buffs separate and large in my face.
  8. How about we just stop complaining and thank BW for even trying to give us anything. Sheesh this generation of "I want my candy now...wah wah wah".

    You people should remember what is was like to not even have an MMO to play and we had to sit around a table and play Monopoly for fun!

    :D

    I will own you right now at Star Wars Monopoly!!!!

  9. I would like to have the ability to add color highlights to the guild list.

    Example would be Red Highlight could be tanks, Green for heals, Yellow for DPS. I know you can put a not in the members note but would be much easier to visually see what you have without all the right clicks. And also add a sort by color option.

    Thanks,

  10. I can only imagine what their server configuration file looks like...

    //FLEETINSTANCE

    //

    //This sets the number of players needed before a new instance is generated

    //

    //NOTE: Do not set to 4 in the LIVE environment as NERD RAGE will ensue!

    //1=100 PLAYERS

    //2=200 PLAYERS

    //3=300 PLAYERS

    //4=4 PLAYERS

    FLEETINSTANCE=4

    AHAHAHAH...I guess the program is working as intended. If you don't agree read the last 15 pages again.

  11. Can we get a DEV or anyone to confirm that 110% is the accuracy hard cap for ops? Also is it different for each OP? Such as 108% normal, 109% hm, 110% nightmare.
