  1. On my Vanguard after getting rid of my accuracy enhancment from my rakata gear I went from 30% shield chance to 50% and shield absorb from 30% to 42% so I think that's worth more than the 10% accuracy I lost by doing so. Oh but i added some augments too so the numbers may be a little less but still worth more that the accuracy.
  2. I came back to the game after a long break and I must say I have never done flashpoint before (geared on operations to almost full rakata), and after coming back was a bit shocked that you can skip so many bosses but I never complained. I started using Group Finder to learn how to tank again because after such a break I was not sure if I can still do it. I must say I enjoy doing the full run because it's more training, but I also don't care if we skip, because in a matter of minutes I can do another Flashpoint and kill some bosses again. I think everyone here has it's own preferences and it doesn't matter how you do it. If people in my party want to skip we skip (even though at first they had to show me how to do it, and people were really not too nice when I was doing Lost Island HM for my first time and I did not know how to skip - good thing I was a decent geared tank otherwise I would probably get kicked). When I queque for a Flashpoint I always think that we will do a full run and I'm trying to have enough time for that.

What I want to say is there is no need to argue about such a thing. I understand the people who want to skip, because they did the flashpoint so many times and don't want to waste their time for people they don't even know!. But I also understand the people who want to try the full flashpoint, because there are many reasons to do so. You can always quit the group if you don't like it and find people that have the same preferences you do. I think there will come a time when people who complain here will start to skip bosses or just stop doing flashpoint after they gear decently.

  3. I really like Huttball and I really wish some people would actually come to this forum, and read this guide or the sticky one. Sometimes It take too much time to tell people about the basics of playing huttball (like don't stand in places where enemies can leap to you, especially after some traps which they just get past thanks to you, man that sucks)
  4. Isn't it normal to get a better gear after you aquire the worse ones? It's like you people want to get from nothing to war hero and isn't it obvious it would be rather hard? In ranked warzones there will be players playing in full BM.

I only recently got to 60 valor but I still thought I will need to first get full BM to be able to do something in the ranked warzones.

  5. If there will be a medal for passing - people will stand and pass to each other...

If there will be a medal for scoring - people will not pass and die trying to reach the goal

It would be better if the whole team got a medal when we get 3 goals or something like that... There will be medals for ending the warzone in less than 5 minutes and less than 10 minutes, and for winning too. I read it in an article but I doubt it will be in 1.2 or maybe in ranked warzones.

Tracer Missile is a community favorite, and I can flat out state that if you pull the Tracer Missile stun on a skilled player, you are not going to live. It’s not working. Alright, if you know how to use interrupts, we see people stand there and they die. But that said, it is also dangerous to have people in a state where they can have a fairly decent DPS rotation with almost no effort. That isn’t good long term for them either. It is boring and it doesn’t add as much combat adrenaline as we want. So we did some changes there to rebalance that particular tree to move a bit out of the Tracer Missile, and require you to be more active in your combat style to achieve that kind of effect. You can call that a nerf. I call that housekeeping.
  7. I don't think the previous rulers help get someone new on the throne, and when you do quests on Alderaan you meet them and they help you. As far as I know in the book they wanted to get the throne back.

On Republic Side the new ruler of the house gives you her support for Organa.

On Imperial Side you get the crown of the previous ruler, and one of the house vassals promises you to help Thul get the throne.

  8. I would like you to add how to pass the ball. The first time I played I thought the ball gets to you target. First - it's not easy to target you teammate in a warzone, Socond - it doesn't work. I was playing a Juggernaut, and since we don't have any AoE abilities I didn't see the circle to AoE.

Still a great guide, learned a few tricks now :)

  9. Actually, you are stronger than Revan.

Since any Imperial Class on lvl 50 can go to The Foundry and kill Revan alone, and your Jedi Knight is equally strong as them (well, sort of - the balance isn't exactly good on 1 vs 1) you could also kill him if you were an Imperial :p

  10. I am light side:

There is one for Alligment III (Honorable)

There is one for Alligment V (Pure)

Even though when you get the second title you read it's for Alligment IV, you lose it when you get back to IV, but get it back when you go to V.

So the only bug here is that Bioware should have written you got a new title for becoming alligment V, and not IV.

  11. I used Vette till I got the 3rd companion. Then I got the 4th one, but never used him. After that I used the 5th companion. At lvl 48 I started using Quinn and even though he had the gear lvl 20+ from the time I got him (first time I actually used him) he is the easiest companion to play with. You can actually play with the companion you like the most ( I did it almost to the end), but Quinn makes everything much much easier. I almost forget about medpacks, stims, and this ability which takes the cooldown of SaberWard and heals you (20 min CD).
  12. LoL, lost it a couple of times already, and got it back every time. If you have problems just do Black Talon normal mode, you get 200 lightside points.

If you don't want to go throught that trouble just use some lower lvl light side mission, and you get it back. xD Didn't see a problem with it till now.
