  1. I have had good results with the armor Patches .. 5-10 to Blue and then the same for Epics.

    Now i am not sure About Droid upgrades.. i think Blue is the Only version they come in? I was looking at the Cybertech Schematics list and did not see any epic ones.

    Can anyone Confirm?

     

    You can RE them to purples, my 4X has some equipped at the moment.

  2. It would be better if they held back space to work on it because it feels tacked on at the moment. On the rails is bad enough without it beging timed as well :rolleyes: I get all this so called xp while in the missions but when I come out it says 5xp ? ***

     

    I stopped doing em since it seems a waste of time with no xp. One of the few things STAR TREK ONLINE did was the space combat, had a real tactial nature to it (like naval battles in space lol) Bioware should of copied.

     

     

    The XP is added as soon as you get it, the 5XP is only because you outlevel the actual main quest by too much.

     

    You still get 7XP per fighter, 1100(ish) for destroying the 2nd mission station ect ect so it does add up to a large amount of both XP and Credits for very little effort

  3. I have loved space missions since Beta, they have changed a fair bit but as you level the bonus missions get better too.

     

    Been trying to find a list of all the missions and at what level other bonus missions unlock, would be handy to have so people still run the greyed out ones later on too.

     

     

    Just did Fondor Escort for the 1st time since I hit 30. The bonus mission to take out 20 Frigate turrets is now available so more free XP and creds :)

  4. If the Tank has pulled too much, or the mobs are just wailing on them I use Medic Probe, Adv. Probe, by then the first is off cooldown so medic Probe and back to Hammer Shot.

     

    You did'nt say your level so I going on pure guessing here, but this is totally wrong (in my personal opinion) unless you want to run out of ammo on bigger fights fast.

     

    Personally if I see the tank has pulled too much or is taking a beating (same applies to 4X) it's Kolto Bomb (talented for +healing) > Adv Probe (again talented for....) > Med Probe (seeing as it only costs 1 ammo with talented Adv probe). Then do what ever is required including another Med Probe as you saved ammo from casting Adv 1st. Also, make full use of the 30 charges and use it every chance, the regular Med Probe can be specced to give you 6 stacks per cast so it builds back up in no time at all.

     

    Dont forget that the more ammo you have, the better your regen is. Talenting and making use of talents / procs that drops costs makes a massive difference between having ammo to heal the whole group or failing the fight.

  5. Levelled as healing in beta and doing it on live too and not had a single problem yet.

     

    Best thing to do if you can though, blitz through your class quests on Nar for your tank companion. Then go back for the rest.

     

    But, and tbh it's a chunky one. Kit him out. Either get stuff from the GTN, use Cybertech if you have it or make buddies with one. He is far more gear reliant than the others ( or at least from what I noticed) but keeping him upto date will pay off big time.

     

    Enjoy solo'ing most 2 heroics and the rare elites while others wait for groups :)

  6. Is it just me doing something wrong or have grenades been changed from Beta to Live ?

     

    I used to be able to RE the grren ones to get better blues, then on to purples that never ran out. But now when i make any it says I'm able to RE them but wont let me.

     

    I've not tried with the trainer blues as if they dont then i wasted mats, but anyone else having issues ?

  7. My only concern with the Commando is he is the only healer that doesn't appear to get an in-combat revive ability. This could be a large factor in Flashpoints where the loss of a team mate in a group of 4 has some serious implications, especially if that was the tank.

     

    Same rule applies in this game as to all other MMO's

     

    Tank dies - healers fault

    Healer dies - Tanks fault

    DPS dies - their own damn fault most of the time.

     

    Rolled a healing Trooper in the beta thinking it would be only for testing and I would be going JK for my main char on release, just because i wanted to avoid story spoilers.

     

    Healing Trooper will be my main come Early access as it's a riot. Even better with the Tank companion ;)
