  1. First, thank you Bioware for the inclusion of the preview window's new ability to show a weapon plus the rotation and zoom features! Great job there!

    The animations exist and ranged weapon range is already in place (not implying an increase) from pistol to rifle & vice versa. so we need an unlock be it, Cartel Coin, quest, level, what have you, to allow bounty hunters to use rifles and troopers to use pistols if they choose.

    The glowbat wielders have the option to use other weaponry so the need and desire for utility of weapon employment by ranged classes should be in existence as well.

    Please consider this request!

    Actually cathar will be good for PVP since i can enjoy frying the kitties :D

     

    Agreed here, why Cathar when we're missing so many of the essential species from the Star Wars universe?

    Firstly, a Cathar over Wookies as the first playable species introduced after launch!? Get real.

    Where are the Rodians, Mon Calamarians, Trandoshans, Sullustans, or any others that are easily recognizable and have existing character models within the game?

    Secondly, there's absolutely no benefit, besides the aesthetic, to creating alts of different species.

    How about starting polls for the inclusion of content like this?

  3. lol then again, level 50 does not a good player make. And expertise doesn't add that much of an advantage. My columi dps jugg can still do just fine in pvp with ~46 expertise.

     

    This is utter nonsense.

    Have you looked at your character sheet with 1200 expertise and noted the difference it makes for your damage dealt and damage received? I'm going to bet that you have not and decided after a few matches with [your opinion] of decent damage dealt that you wouldn't bother investing in PvP gear.

     

    Expertise is a *confirmed* increase to damage, damage received, and healing to other players while in a warzone or anywhere you're engaged in combat with another player. It is effective and 10 out of 10 times you will be beaten by another player that properly stacks their expertise.

    All those class balance discussions on the forums got me thinking. There's no better way of finding an overpowered specs, than to observe the population numbers. So my request is as follows: dear Bioware employees, can you please publish ANY population statistics at all. I'm especially interested in population dynamics. For some reason after 1.2 patch in every warzone i play both in 50 and 10-49 brackets, i meet 2 to 5 PT's. Can you please explain such rapid population growth of one particular class in one particular spec? Or can you show us that there is no growth at all.

     

    The cries of OP for tracer missile did much to utterly remove dps-spec mercenaries from PvP.

    A nerf to a powertech tree could easily be viewed as player base hatred of a class that doesn't wield a glowbat but can still down someone who does.

    Where is the reciprocal "balance" where shadows/assassins are concerned?

    A marauder/sentinel popping cooldowns can easily deal with any PT-pyro.

     

    Don't forget that 1.2 already brought a decrease in the proc time of railshot within the pyrotech tree.

    The prevalence of OP cries weren't nearly as loud at that time.

    It's the green set from the first vanguard bit, and the blue/white stuff from the second part.

     

    I have never found the helmet seen on the green set, not ever, even beta. The second set does not exist in that color scheme. The blue/white set can be earned from operations and hardmode flashpoints via the vendors on the fleet in the 'Supplies' section. The colors are not the same however and the helmet is not part of any of those sets. The helmet is the same model (different color scheme) as the centurion, champion, and battlemaster PvP commendation helmet.

  6. ... I really, really, really appreciate how---this title being an MMO---I don't have to worry about replaying once my primary class quest is finished.

    For me, as a trooper, once I had reassembled Havoc Squad I was very excited about what comes next.

    At then end of Mass Effect (I), I felt a sense of accomplishment and sacrifice after finishing the game. I however really wanted to keep going. Although you could import your character to Mass Effect II it didn't feel the same as running with your team, all leveled and decked out, into another story.

    This game has done that and I just want to say Thank you.

    So, thank you Bioware!

  7. However I should mention that the on my ship is broken (likely, this is the only reason I haven't figured this out already). Whenever I use it, it cuts as if to switch to a cutscene, then abruptly switches me back to normal mode without anything. I assume this is a bug?

    Hey man, I had this problem at first as well but this was with the holoterminal, not the comm in the cockpit. Which ship are you flying? It sounds like you may be using the wrong terminal for space missions.
