  1. I have been following this thread and others like it for a while now and agree totally with OP. The mechanic should be changed to keep the griefers from their bread and butter.

I have yet to have this happen to me cause none of my toons are high enough level to be in any at risk areas. Throwing my support behind this thread however, in hopes that by the time I am in that situation Bioware will have it fixed to where I cannot be dragged into a play style I don't want.

If it's not fixed by the time I am in those areas you can bet your tuchas that I will be reporting every single person that does it to me.

  2. I personally liked the movies. Do I think they are perfect and define all that is Star Wars? No. All in all they were at least entertaining. You have points I agree with and some that I don't.

Jar Jar Binks....100% agree but also think that he was only slightly more annoying than was in the originals.

Medichlorians...again 100% agree on this point. The idea of these things is even more annoying than Jar Jar in my opinion.

Hayden Christiansen (or whatever his name is) didn't do all that bad in my opinion. A couple of overacted and strained scenes throughout doesn't really break the movies for me.

The focus on the love story is where you totally loose me. His fall to the dark side was caused by the exact thing that you think shouldn't have been focused on so much. Would the story of him falling to the dark in a desperate attempt to hold onto his love have made as much sense if they had only focused on epic light saber battles and the like?

Not enough Jedi stories? Really? Episodes one two and three had like quadruple the amount of Jedi action then all three of the originals combined.People seem to forget that the original Star Wars wasn't JUST about Jedi. It had a wide variety of characters and stories that people from all walks of life could identify with. If anything the prequels had too much Jedi stuff. Had Lucas included more mundane characters and stories in the prequels I think it would have done even better than it did.

The final emo "NOOOOOOOO!" at the end was a tad bit over done but not totally lame. If you think about it like you have never seen the originals yet it is a very nice bit of foreshadowing. What was it emo Luke did when he was told who his father was? Thats right....the same overacted "NOOOOOO!"

  3. Dropping in to say hey and that I plan to stick with Ebon and hope to find some RP sometime or another though I don't expect it for a while till people get used to the new mechanics and settings. Mainly play Republic and main toons are Verna (my trooper) and Nelisily (my Jedi Knight). Look forward to see yall out and about
  4. Verna Amnell here from the Tirius City player community. Quit shortly after the NGE and sorely miss good ole SWG. Hope to perhaps hear from a few old buddies. Good to see Eclipse players giving this a try.
  5. I have a pc that's pushing 7 years old. Single core processor, NVidia 8600 graphics card (that happens to be jury rigged for cooling since the fan fried on me a year and a half ago), and only two gigs of ram. The only issue I have had so far is some pretty severe lag in highly populated areas. But given what rig I am running I was expecting nothing less. I suggest taking a serious look at what your running and asking yourself where the problem really lies.

LOL...had to edit cause I said two megs of ram instead of gigs. Not enough coffee yet I guess.
