  1. The leader changed to master loot about 10 seconds before we took down Xeno HM.

They changed the loot rules during combat, and the mount dropped and they took it for themselves.

All 15 people in the raid were pretty annoyed.

    Well done Bioware.

inbefore "make your own group". Oh I will with one of my alts.

Report the players...don't shame and blame on the forums.

For all we know, you're just trying to troll us.

  2. Not quite. I hate having to bring up Guild Wars 2, but thats an example of a game that you dont have to grind to be relevant in pvp. Currently in swtor they went too far with the ammount of grind required to get War Hero gear.

Introducing more grind in order to get people to stay subscribed could very well backfire and cause just the opposite.

Wrong, they are restructuring their skills to where all powerful skills are obtained at higher levels.

  3. If anyone with a problem is a hater, whiner or rant laced complainer, then anyone who likes the game is a fanboi, biodrone or apologist.

People with problems about the game aren't haters until they spew useless dribble that does not promote constructive conversations. Don't even pretend to act like you don't know the difference.

  4. Oh yes, and for some reason these "OMG everything is wonderful!!!!" threads are constructive, whereas any thread that speaks of leaving the game get locked as being nonconstructive.

Most game forums delete negative threads almost immediately.

SWTOR negative/hate threads are for the most part allowed to run rampant.

    New here?

  5. Ease up some. Atleast she/he is serving thier country. Besides this is BioWare's fault for allowing non restrictive isp zones to play on servers. The least they could do is provide the tools for them to get group runs.

Meh. If s/he was under my command I would have a quarterdeck with his/her name on it.

  6. This is an entirely irrelevant argument, and a red herring, if for no other reason than that mobs were always understood to be a fundamental part of the game.

You seem unable to reply to my argument and are resorting to clear distortions.

    Your argument is noted.

Unfortunately, plagues don't listen to arguments.

  7. You think that people that are enjoying the fact that they can force what they want on other people and grief them are nicer than people who think that it's wrong to have events that allow (let alone encourage) players to grief one another?

LOL!!!!!!!! How the hell are they griefing you?

It has what, a 3-5 meter radius?

You have major visuals to determine who is infected.

You can avoid them...or embrace it and reap the rewards.

Or you can continue to be grumpy and hate everything.

    The choice is yours.

  8. So, how would you feel if you woke up tomorrow after the maintenance only to find out that BW had changed Swtor to a wild west based MMO? Would you say that this is consistent with what BW presented to you as their product, or would you say that they'd fundamentally changed it and it was not the same thing anymore?

It's a more extreme example, but its the same idea.

I don't like that when I'm out in the world the mobs attack me. I didn't sign up for that. Al I wanted to do is explore. BW, I DEMAND that you remove all hostile NPCs from the game.

  9. *shrug

Like I said, friends list size isn't an issue for me, so I don't really need it.

You didn't say what link think think exists between "large friends list" and "likes to stand around and grief people"

For that matter... you never did get around to saying why you thought I had quit...

I mistook you for someone else. Sorry about that part. :o

The link to friends list and ENJOYING AN EVENT (don't look at things so negative) is that I really wouldn't think people really complaining about this event are very nice. I would actually think they have a strong negative outlook on life.

I could be wrong, it's happened before.

  10. Sigh... I think half the problem is that people do not actually take the time to read and consider what those of us who do not like the plague are saying.

If you had, you would know that most of us, and certainly myself, have said repeatedly that everything about the event is fine or great except for the way the infection works. That is our problem. We largely support the event itself.

I prefer this style of event.

Why should you be able to ignore something like the rakghoul plague spreading?

It is something that could affect the entire galaxy after all.
