    For Solo content Immortal in DPS or even half-DPS gear is definitely better than either DPS spec. Survivability gain is huge, and DPS loss will not be noticeable unless it's a long fight. AoE burst damage of Crushing Blow is often better than Slam spam of Vengeance. I've completed most Master chapters on a Guardian Skank tank. Daily stuff and heroics are not much slower and you literally never need to stop to heal up, even when using a DPS companion. I tank all Master FPS in a hybrid build with 2k shield, 1.7k absorb, 1213 alacrity and 2k crit. If you know your healer, you could go for full DPS stats as well, with pugs I prefer to be a bit tankier.

     

    Just don't queue as DPS. Even with super offensive gear you are still a tank and should be playing that role. In prolonged fights even a full damage geared Immortal will be quite behind an actual DPS jugg, and you will completely mess up the tanking for the actual tank because of your super high threat.

     

    Thanks for your reply, I was thinking of tank class paladin in early World of Warcraft where they do insane aoe dps which was fun, immortal DPS might have same style.

     

    Of course I wont queue flashpoints or ops as DPS immortal. I dont plan to ruin someones day. Mainly soloplaying.

    Skipped KOTFE & KOTET, went Fractured Alliances - Didnt get Alliance Alerts missions

    Tried to searching in this forum but didnt found anything.

     

    I skipped KOTFE & KOTET and went straight to Fractured Alliances and I noticed I didnt get any of Alliance Alerts or KOTFE & KOTET companions. Even all of my five original class story companions is still available.

     

    I mean its nice to have them but I want to recruit them through Alliance Alerts missions and also some other Alliance Alerts companions. Odessen alliance base is in total lockdowned for me, I can travel to there but cant enter inside Odessen alliance base at all.

    While I havent done Galactic Seasons PVP weekly mission, I agree with you. Non-pvpers shouldnt forced to do pvp missions for solo/pve-focused rewards and pvpers shouldnt be forced to doing pve/ops for pvp rewards.

     

    The solution should be that weekly Galactic Seasons missions get double points but you can only complete one of two weekly Galactic Seasons missions (pve or pvp).

    Vanilla WoW-veteran here

     

    WoW is better game now than it used in vanilla but the community is much awful nowadays so its no point to continue playing. Cross realm feature destroyed all aspect of being MMO in WoW. You used to recognize known faces of friends and nemesis in Alterac Valley but instead they have become faceless strangers that you will never recognize or even care about because you will probably never meet them again. 1hour 5man dungeons became 15min speed runs where nobody speak a single word on party chat,

     

    Easy dungeon-speedruns = no communication = no friendship being made = no genuine guilds = **** community

    Even if it is a cameo like he is telling his tale to someone then flashback to the main movie, I hope not. Old man Indiana Jones was devastating, don't old man Han Solo!

     

    I will accept a sitcom of old man Solo and old man Calrissian in a space retirement home

    For the love of god what is this?!?!?!?

     

    This can't be good. this is a Blasphemy to Hardcore pvpers and real pvpers, i am not saying Bioware wanted this from the begining, i am pretty sure bioware wanted a good world pvp but they need to fix this problem. we need the kills daily again. no more orbes (we can keep droids and war droid) but no more orbes. this is a Blasphemy to PvP and it has to stop

     

    This is ridiculous, which server did this happened?

     

     

    In tomb of freedon nadd EU we dont kill eachother but we trying stop the person who trying cap with stun,CC and knockdown etc so in fact theres groups with pylons around the area, who trying cap the pylon but we dont kill them just knockdown,stun,blind etc until when your group cap one so go back grab new and repeat until you get 4.

    I don't remember exotech having a set bonus...

    Armorings without set bonus can be put anywhere, or am I wrong ?

     

    Where did I wrote about armoring in exetech parts carrys set bonuses?

    You are wrong, need be same armor type.

     

     

    I know Black Hole armor, even though it doesnt have a set bonus, has to be put in the same thing... boots to boots, legs to legs, etc etc

     

    Same goes on armorings from every purple gear drop.

    You can, but however you cant take armoring from pants and put on the modable gloves because armorings in gear drops has Armoring(type of armor) specification like Armoring(Gloves) for gloves only, Armoring(Head) for headpieces only etc.

     

    So in your case, you can take armoring(legs) from exotech supercommando pants and put the armoring on your tionese legs or orange modable legs.

     

    About mods/enhancements, you can put them wherever you like.

    I've run countless HM, SM Op's, FP's etc. I've never been kicked either. I just saw this the other night and have seen it occurring more and more lately. I actually felt ashamed that I play with some of these people even if it's random...we are a community after all.

     

    They never gave the guy a chance really. What he did was stupid but no one (including me) told him otherwise on the second wipe.

     

    If you read earlier on I said that getting kicked is one thing. You want to kick someone...for being under geared, not listening, being stubborn etc. That's fine, but don't insult them AND their character too.

     

    The examples above weren't even the case in this instance . What he did happened mainly b/c he didn't know, and they just had it out for the guy from the beginning when he said he was new to the OP and wanted to see the cut scenes.

     

    They were jerks....most people are not. I could see how this could discourage some people with the insults at the end before they kicked him.

     

    Like I said before, you never know who's on the other end.

     

    Nice try to put words in our mouths, they dont get removed from group because they´re undergeared or new to the content, just because they´re being scumbag and unrespectful which make the run unbearable for the 3 others in group.

     

    That funny thing is that those who often get kicked are usually same those who initiate votekicks for stupid reasons (these voting for kick often get cancelled by the other in groups).

     

     

    This is why I hate end-game. I ding 50, then immediately shelve that toon and start leveling the new one. This whole thing just sounds like a second job to me.

     

    You might playing wrong game, this is a MMORPG game. We other players aint there to just boost you, you have to do your part too. Communication is big part of mmo games, you cant sit there silent and expect others will do all work.
