  1. 1. My guild loves our sage healers, but feels like the skill cap is high on them.

    2. I like my class but I feel like it is clunky in resource management. As a healer I find it difficult to do prolonged battles with sustained or AoE damage. My suggestion is take away the health damage when using our consumption when we have the proc'd buff.

  2. Joining a losing match sucks and if they are losing by a large enough portion I don't think that others should join the match. Just end it,.

Because this is just a waste of time. I know you can only see 16 Imperial players in the picture, but there were 2 or 3 more that actually did something that match up with the Republic players.

Maybe I'm alone in this, but perhaps not.

  3. They used to have these, however players were exploiting them for a quick field repair by popping into a warzones, repairing, and then leaving.

They have said they are working on this so that vendors can be in warzones again.

  4. This is the first mmo that I have actually gotten into end game with. And from my opinion I like pvp more. I still pve and am currently building up my columi and rakata gear, but in the end you will constantly be doing the same ops over and over again, while in pvp you are fighting real people which makes the fights different and fairly new.

But I don't have anything against pve...

  5. Twi'leks do not wear helmets or hats. The lekku, or tails as the ignorant people call them, are very sensitive and part of their brains is inside them. In fact, they are muscle, skin and brain. Twi'leks can communicate with other Twi'leks purely with subtle lekku movements. They are physically incapable, lore-wise, to wear anything constrictive or anything that weighs on them too heavily, the probability of severe pain or, in extreme cases, brain damage, is too high. A loose hood is the only thing they could have over the lekku without fear of causing brain damage to themselves. You could punch a Twi'lek on the lekku and they could literally die.

I play twi'leks myself and would never wear a head item, just like I wouldn't put a screw through my forehead as any other species. The lack of hood option for jedi/sith though is rather disappointing.

...if this is completely true. (I don't know too much about the lekku) it would seem like a helmet or something like that would be a priority for them in oerter to protect these sensitive parts of the head. Cause... Ya know... That's what helmets are for.

  6. Absolutely not.

Jedi knights should be able to face roll a sage healer 1v1. Today I was facing one of the more competent sentinels on our server (same faction) and would have beat him if he hadn't used force camouflage to sneak away to his friends.

And this was only feasible because I popped both my rakata willpower stim and relic, and his defensive cool owns we're already spent before we started.

    I'm heal specced.

  7. Sure, in KOTOR it was completely feasible to make your character a force using gun toting bamf.

It would be cool if this class was a more buff like character, dishing out powerful but short buffs to other players while staying at a distance to do some damage.

  8. I feel that BW should just merge some of the Light servers, thus creating Standard population servers. There are just too many servers to choose from, that's why this is a problem.

Less choices = healthier populated servers

I am a member of a Light server (Zez Kai-Ell). Great group of players, just not enough for consistant warzones. Would love to see fresh blood move to our server.

Yeah, all the imps quit on our sever so it's just a bunch of republic guys fighting the same guys over and over.

  9. Ya know, before today I would have disagreed width you completely. However, I was playing my guardian today (lvl 19) and went up against some sents. Maybe it's because they were terribad or something but I could kill them 1v1. (except for watchmen class with the burning healing) However I do think they can still take down healers too easily with their high dps and 4 second cd interrupt. (coming from my 50 sage healer)
  10. Afirst I thought 8 slots were plenty.

I have changed my mind, for several reasons and here's one.

I want to have an empire zabrak consular, but I need to level up or buy the zabrak legacy unlock. That would be fine unless I wanted to experience all the storylines, which I do. This would take up 2 slots for 1 of the 8 story lines.

  11. I had not noticed, though now that you pointed it out I played with it. It seems like the buff applies to the full duration of Trance, just gets consumed at the start? I ran it 10 or 20 times, and looked to be getting way more crits than a simple 40% crit rate should have given me, but hard to know for sure. And apparently the double dipping bug is still present for everyone that's not you. I thought that was fixed

From all of this it sounds like your team isn't supporting you. The enemy team should be focusing you, and your team should be protecting you. With Guard I have a lot less trouble absorbing hits. With people peeling for me and liberal use of my own cc, I get breathing room. In that scenario, I have no trouble healing people and keeping (most of) them alive. What you described there sounds like when I solo queue and the entire team goes durrrr who needs healing and leaves me all on my own. Then when I get a Mara or two chasing me I run in circles for a while healing no one but myself and then die horribly just to repeat the cycle. Sometimes I'll be able to do some healing out of corners and move around, but not against the good premades.

Since I've had plenty of experience fighting (and often, losing) to some of my server's better pvp guilds, I don't think I'm fighting terribads, I think your team's cooperation and support for the healers is probably bad. Otherwise, we must indeed be playing a different game with the huge skill disparity between our servers (and by extension I must suck as much as the rest, so feel free to ignore everything I say) :)

This. This. This so much. And sentinels, with their super short cool down interrupt will face roll a healer in no time. 2 dents you say? Quickly cast rejuvenate... Cast healing tran- INTERRUPT... Force wave to get them away from you...Cast benevolenc- STUN... Cast.... Oh wait, you're dead.

  12. Don't listen to the fanboys here... You're right, there is a problem. 4-mans might be doable by two people IF YOU HAVE THE RIGHT CLASSES. If you and a buddy are both Jedi Sentinels, and don't have Doc, then you're never going to be able to do it, ever.

The majority of servers have about 40% of their population at max level, or 40% below level 15... On my main (now abandoned) server, I'm usually the only person on the planet I'm questing on at peak hours. I don't even bother picking them up anymore. What's the point? I'm never going to find anyone on the deserted planet to play with.

Shame, as they were fun whilst I was able to do them a couple of months back.

People who comment saying, 'The problem is with you', or 'they're easy, just two man them' are in denial that there are problems with the core mechanics of this games setup. Live in denial if you want, but be aware that's exactly where you are. They weren't designed to be two manned or skipped, they were designed to be done and enjoyed by any and all who wish to partake in them. If that can't happen, which evidently, it can't, then it's broken. Plain and simple.

I agree. I don't want them removed, I want them to fix the population problem.
