As a spaniard i take offense on this as you trying to make a big deal out of a minor mistake on one tv program but hey if it makes you "feel" superior go ahead.

(apologizes if this is in the wrong area)
so, I manage to gain a sub via referral link thinking I would then get the Kotfe xpac considering the patch notes state the xpac is free to subs (dirty and entitled I know, but I'm an opportunist.)
Ive looked in my ship; I have looked in the fleet. Nothing.
This begs the question, do Referral subs even get the xpac? Should it not have stated this somewhere? Did they deceitful word this statement to make people think subs, present and future, would get it but in reality ment only subs that were current during launch? Am I just bugging out?
Answers would be nice.

Any how, if you want a good game with complexity, you could go look up eso or "the repopulation" (Its in pre-alpha right now, but its apparently heavily influenced by SWG.) ESO has been spitting out content regularly so you won't get bored if went and did that (they just revealed their next expansion orsinium.). Wildstar also, is f2p now so you could also go look that up.

900+ huh? By that estimate the war is going to last another two thousand years, give or take a hundred.
That leaves room for a loooot of content.
I really don't think the galaxy could handle 2000 years of war without pause.... It already looks like Syria as it is....

If you've played through the Bounty Hunter class story, it is at the conclusion of the Kingmaker for a Day quest. At the end of it the Bounty Hunter is asked to choose who should rule to the noble house you're working for, in the wake of the previous Baron's death. There are two male candidates, one the old Baron's son and the other his brother I believe, and one female, who is the old Baron's daughter. The son will try to bribe a female Bounty Hunter to vote for his ascension by proposing marriage if she chooses him. Agreeing and marrying him gets the Baroness title. If the Bounty Hunter agrees to vote for him as Baron, but not to marrying him, she'll get the Knight of Alderaan title. (whether or not she sleeps with him)
Thanks for clearing that up; I played through the bounty hunter story as male so I missed that part.

They probably have it in the making somewhere. Companies that run mmo's plan waaaay ahead. In fact, they work on plans for expansions years away I think. Heck, I bet shotos were planned on from launch.

You trying to tell me my Sith Lord, chair holder on the dark council is somehow even remotely close to the acolyte right outside? That some terrible design alone before I ever even add a RP factor to it.
Mandatory was a screw up. Something that should have been optional from design day one got turned into a forced leveling down of everyone in the game because they wanted to make 4 year old content something some new gamer wants to look at. Sorry but thats not enough reason to force this on everyone.
No, it won't stop ganking, but it will give the victim of ganking the ability to defend himself to where he has a chance.
I personally think this is a good change.

Show me the many requests on the forums pre-KotFE requesting mandatory scaling. Don't bring me "mentoring," bring me mandatory scaling on low level planets. You did say it had been requested over and over.

I'm thinking due to the bounty hunter and trooper story that the republic storyline happens a little bit after the empire's.
Also, the Republic was getting its teeth kicked in the entire last war; its time for some pay back.

So they didn't have to record additional lines of dialogue, which is why female characters are also referred to as 'sir' frequently in the game.
I'm fairly certain that in the lore outside the games however that titles do change based on gender. Certainly ma'am is used instead of sir outside the games to refer to female officers in the EU.
Interestingly, the game is also a bit inconsistent when it comes to titles. While the Sith all get the lord title regardless of gender, a female Bounty Hunter who marries into one of the noble houses of Alderaan gets the Baroness title.
You can marry into one of the noble families on alderaan if your female? That's interesting.

I doubt it will be less effort to implement terminals that give you the option then what you are doing now.
Does anyone else get annoyed when someone makes a request, quickly says thank you, then walks away? You may have well just commanded them to do it.

They KNEW how many people would have unsubbed months ago had they known this was coming.
If they "knew" why the heck would they put it In place? I am fairly certain driving away customers isn't their intent. Id advise waiting to see how this all turns out and what it plays into before passing judgement.

I still don't quite understand what the fuss is about. Personally, when I go back to planents, I dislike one shotting and facerolling through everything. Its not fun whatsoever.
Also, the "OWPVP won't work now" is kind of absurd because you can still gank people; you can still have pvp wars. It just won't be the roflstomp people seem to enjoy so much, which I personally think is a good thing.

I prefer Body type 2. Body type 3 looks ridiculous under any circumstances I think. I role a Cathar with whitish fur, so the only thing the darkside effect has on my character is some veins showing and red eyes which looks good.

Are you looking for a mmo with a good story? Twitch based combat? grouped oriented? solo friendly? great pvp? all of the above?
Try looking up elder scrolls online. Its got a lot of what I mentioned above if any of that is your thing. Wildstar also, is pretty decent all around, dunno if you'll like the graphics though.
The pvp in eso is especially enjoyable because its large scale, open world, objective based capturing of keeps and outposts (you literally set up siege weapons outside and break down the walls to get inside the keep and capture it.) Its also 3 factions pvp so it makes it especially interesting.
Their is also a sandbox mmo called "the repopulation" which is in early pre alpha on steam that is very promising if you wanna keep tabs on that.
