I was wondering are RWZ planned to be solo queueable as well or is it strictly for premades ?

LOL. What about those players who have been playing since day 1 or before that don't have a 50, or haven't gotten to level 6 in the legacy system?
If you reach it by 22th you will qualify.

No reason. There is GW2, Planetside 2, D3 coming plus LoL, SC2, etc ... mix some single player games inbetween and you can forget about subscription based MMOs.

Ppl are not raging about issues with patch, they are raging about the the poor excuse BW exercises as PR.

It was but it doesn't change the fact that they said what they said and haven't even attempted to recant or backtrack on what they meant.
They silently changed the wording in the announcement, so there is that.

What most people don't understand is that I enjoy the game, but hate their PR department. Because as it stands despite them trying to re-edit the mention of most valued players. They essentially flipped off a portion of their gamer base and now are trying to act like it didn't quite happen that way.
If you are giving one segment of your players free game time just because they lvled a character to 50, you just gave the finger to evryone else.
Don't sugar coat it, own it!
More so if you give free play time to some players because your service is not good enough, man up and say it straigth. Don't insult players when trying to cover it up.

What's the difference between sheep and loyal subscriber anyway. Imho loyar subscriber should acknowledge that BW made a mistake, but forgive them if they akcnowledge it ... sheep just says it's all good.
Sry guys, but that's what I think when I read some of the posts. If somebody spits in my face, I don't grow up to get over it. The force is not strong enough in me I am afraid.

I'm definitely not loyal. Just here till Tera comes out, and when that flops I'll go to Secret World, and when that sucks I'll go to Guild Wars 2.
After that, who knows. Perhaps on to WoW to play some Panda action.
Yep ... I have thrown away 15 dollars when resubbing last week and instead of more polished game I got to witnes BW stream of failure in action.
If I am to pay 15 bucks a month, I want quality service ... reading announcements that are frankly insulting my play style; not worth 15 bucks I am afraid. There are f2p games with more competent service than what BW has shown us in the last week.

Not at all. Like other people have said, we all know its to bribe the people. Im not saying its unfair. Im saying that they said it to keep the 50's playing.
Does BW have no balls or what exacly is the reason for wording it like this ? We can't admit to our mistakes, best to piss of a whole new group of to this day happy subscribers ... that's the best course of action.

has anyone noticed that the PR department of BW hasn't released any type of follow on comment regarding their initial 30 day free announcement ? I'm thinking that's kinda significant, and I'm thinking someone's putting little nick-knacks into a box at their desk since they just got canned.
I can imagine they let som temp write the announcement.

Here's a reason: because gifts have value beyond their physical or monetary value. You see it as a bunch of useless pixels, but other players--I'm sure--find it exciting and are happy with the gift.
The value of an item is purely subjective; you'll find meaning in it if you want to. I believe this is why people say, "It's the thought that counts."
I would rather if they didn't insult us ... they can keep the mini.

Regardless of why they did what they did, I believe we can all safely assume that it wasn't to upset everyone else. Right? Companies seldom tend to aggravate their customers on purpose.
And if that is the case, my point stands - namely that going all monkey-crazy and cancelling subscriptions based on a perceived slight is overreacting to the situation.
You pay for the game ... BW shouldn't act so cluelessly. I can understand that patches fail, but this kind of PR fail is uncalled for.

It's actually a gesture from Bioware to a large number of now-former customers. Performed with the middle finger.
I think it's nice play on V sign. Some ppl see it from one side as Victory, others see it from opposite side which has the same meaning as finger.

Nowhere does Bioware say it forces you to run alts, or that you MUST roll alts.
All they said was that "their MMO take" is by adding the story pillar and that you are encouraged to explore it. But NOWHERE do they claim that this is NOT an MMORPG, where your carrot is the same gear and raid crap.
If you decided to read between the lines and take conclusions that were not black and white written in text.. well.. that`s your problem.
They haven`t made a mistake: they decided to give 2 gifts:
1. for everybody a pet
2. for level 50`s a free month
We can argue all day about the why`s and the but`s and how you are entitled to something or not.. but at the end of the day, it was YOU ALONE that put words in Bioware`s mouth... and YOU ALONE for not having a level 50 4 months into the game.
Btw.. Bioware doesn`t owe anyone anything. You pay or you don`t pay... they deliver a product, which you can buy or not... but you never had any rights to the product, nor its policy.
And no, you won`t unsub... might be the whole 10 ragequitters, from which 2 will reach CC expired and one will forget to add funds... but nothing will change.
I guess you missed the whole celebrate legacy update ... feature that is built around leveling alts with gifts that don't apply to players who focus on leveling alts. But that is all a bunch of bs as most ppl can see.
They are giving away the free time to calm down lvl 50 players who are unhappy with what BW offers them at max level. But instead of saying it straight they decided to throw this PR bs on us.
Any yes I unsubbed. I wasn't loyal subscriber. Paid for 2 months after release and recently came back to see how things changed just to enjoy rwz strike, this pr bs and now 1.2a fail.
If nothing else it's funny. really. 10 minutes of laughing is worth 15 dollars imho.

THIS is what most people don't get. They're falling for a marketing trick that rephrased a bribe into a reward.
I think that most players get that, they are angry that BW instead of admitting to their mistake decided to insult portion of the playerbase.

No I believe you. If they release solo queueable xserver rwz TOR will become much more interesting MMO imho.
