The missions in crew skills after patch 5.3 no longer give influence points for the comppanions. What is going on here lol?
-
Ok thanks for the ckarification. I was a bit confused.

The third change is with the introduction of a new Tier (Tier 4), we needed to ensure Operation players had a way to acquire this gear directly. This is especially true since Tier 4 will help substantially in being able to clear Veteran Mode Tyth along with future Gods from the Machine bosses, and all other Master Mode bosses. Here is a basic breakdown of where the gear will drop:
For existing Operations (Tier 1 will no longer drop in Operations)
Tier 2 Legendary Gear - Story Mode
Tier 3 Legendary Gear – Veteran Mode
Tier 4 Prototype and Artifact Gear – Master Mode (Non-final bosses)
Tier 4 Legendary Gear – Master Mode (Final bosses)
For Gods from the Machine Operations:
Tier 3 – Story Mode
Tier 4 – Veteran Mode
I don't know if anyone has asked this but what I want to ask is what happens to tier 1 gear (230 rating): Since it's not going to be any drop from how do you obtain it? Only from the crates? If there is any thread already posted please tell me. Thank you in advance

Improved Command Experience (per character):
Rank 1: 2% increase - 100.000 credits (250 CC)
Rank 2: 2% increase - 300.000 credits
Rank 3: 2% increase - 600.000 credits
Rank 4: 2% increase - 1.000.000 credits
Rank 5: 2% increase - 1.500.000 credits
Sooo....This is your idea of alt friendly huh? Really BW? Really?
Not to mention that you have to exchange the command tokens for the boost....
-
but you can waste hours of time gaining CXP for rank and a crate only to open 10 crates and get nothing, let alone the 1 item you need
I run 3 jugg tanks for gear, I have multiple doubles and triples of items i dont need, yet still havent gotten the implants, relics, and main/off hands i need. rank 50 on 2 and 90 on the third. 5.1 is not going to improve the situation.
comm/crystal system was much faster and did not rely on a Random Number Generator loot crate for gear.
Lol, I am doing the same thing to get gear.

A few of these changes do seem to improve a liitle bit the system but still...I don't understand; is it so hard to make GCP legacy wide? And instead of beibg more simple it gets even more complicated and a nuisance. Just reading the changes made me have a headache .

Next Expansion: Presidential Elections!!!!

Well.... I still would have liked a legacy wide GCP to be added too. Still these changes are an improvemnt from the current system. And a quick question, they did say that we will be able to upgrade the tier gear int T2 and T3 eventually, right? Did I understood that correctly?

I feel your pain XD.PvP, get burned out, level a new toon, repeat. -
They could alternatively send these rewards through e-mail. It would be much simpler.

I agree with many people that say gear tokens should be broughht back in the operations (or at he very least gear drops, e.g. chest, MH, legs, etc.). That would make gearing much faster and much easier. Also, a legacy wide GCP system would help alot advancing through the 300 GC ranks for all the characters. I just hope eventually they will follow this route. Maybe they could also add T1 (1-90 GC rank), T2 (91-180 GC rank) and T3 (181-300 GC rank) vendors.

Well, this might be a good start.

These are some good ideas.

I think so yes since they both will be level 70. CXP, from what they said in a previous stream, gives you higher quality/rating gear so I don't think there will be any issue .

If Bioware brings back more companions at some later date, I would hope they bring them back in pairs or groups like they did with Vette and Gault.
Kira and Nadia paired up in a Jedi-focused mission
Jaesa and Scourge in a Sith-focused mission. I'd throw in Ashara as well, having fallen to the dark side in the five years since Zakuul invaded. Sith Inquisitor Outlanders could pull her back to the light, if they chose.
Doc, Risha and Mako in one focused on scoundrels.
Vector, Raina Temple, and Malavai Quinn in one focused on Imperial spies. I'd have Quinn return as a Watcher.
Akaavi Spar and Andronikos Revel as pirates raiding Zakuulan shipping.
Elara Dorne and Felix in a chapter focused on the Republic military.
Corso and Zenith as freedom-fighters.
That is an excellent idea and something I have been thinking too. Though Jaesa can be either dark/light depending on your choices and as for Ashara I can't quite picture her embracing the dark side but for the most of the pairings i think they are well thought and did a good job .

Do you mean 14k CC? Because I think that a character transfer costs 1k CC.
-
Comms are going away, that was in the live stream.
There will be no more comms.
Thank you too for the answer

Commendations are gone as from 5.0
I see, Thanks for the answer

Which raises the question: will EV, KP, etc be getting a "Master" mode?
The way I understand it, yes. Either way the devs should clarify on that.

What exactly are you guys doing with the difficulty system of Ops? It sounds like you want to reduce them to two modes only.
So my question is, will the few Operations with 3 difficulty modes (Story Mode, Hard Mode, Nightmare) on it, still have them when 5.0 hits, or will you reduce them to two modes?
If i have understood correctly there are still 3 difficulty modes: Story, Veteran and Master.

Don't know if it has already been asked but are you considering increasing the commendations cap too along with the gearing change?
-
There is a however of course
Right now as a guild we know which gear will drop and we can divide it and make sure all are geared up so we can hit the next difficulty mode.
In the new set up each individual is dependent on RNG and people might get left behind because of it. Also it looks like it will be harder to gear up alts, so if one of the healers can't make it the group is screwed because others have not been able to gear up their alts properly yet.
It looks like it will slow things down to the point that with some bad luck in RNG, the group content like HM operations can't progress because of RNG keeping people from being geared enough.
Add to that that the ops are all old, a lot of people are not gonna want to do EV and KP HM for a long time again in the hopes of getting gear that's good enough for other ops.
I do see this as a weakness in this system, though I will say that I do see a lot of positives in it as well, but I would hate for guildies to be left behind because of RNG and the rest of the guild being unable to do anything about it like we can do now with gearing runs.
That is indeed a good point. Unless they intent to drop boxes in a similar way to CM. I mean, for example, upper, lower or supplementary body armor but with 1 random gear in each one. And as already stated from a lot of people
it would help if the gear remain moddable.

What will this mean for the PVP weapons vendors on the fleets that sell orange weapons for 900 Warzone commendations? Will they be removed from the game as well? If that is the case, certain weapons will complete vanish from the game.
Maybe they will still remain but the stuff may require common commendations instead of WZ comms

Well then, would I be wrong if I assumed that this issue will be fixed (or fixed already) in no time:rolleyes:?
