  1. Pause the trailer at 0:50

Is that the OLD Dread Guard / Hazmat gear that the shadow is wearing? Back when it was Ketchup and Mustard colors? I mean, even the trooper in back and the soundrel on the left are colors I think were changed long ago. If I'm right, then how long has Bioware been sitting on this stuff.... >.>

  2. Yes please! Maybe make that the reward for unlocking Cyborg, kinda lame as is.

I kinda like that idea. Since getting a cyborg to 50 really just unlocked all the available Cyborg options and being able to use it for any Class. So it gives incentive to unlock Cyborg via leveling a 50 / unlocking via CC's (so BW/EA still getting income there.)

I'd hope if they allowed all races to get cybernetic options now, that we'd have the option to reroll our cyborgs.

Yeah, good point there too that does kinda suck. But it would be fixed if there was an option for a species change for those with a current Human Cyborgs...only problem is that there isn't much of a "Story" reason why your character changed species altogether.

  3. Howdy!

I love the idea of a barber shop feature; we've kicked the idea around a great deal internally. I especially love the idea of being able to add scars to your character as you level (or maybe even change your human to a cyborg because he took too much battle damage!).

Any chance you guys might have kicked around the idea for greater changes? Like changing facial features or body types? ;)

  4. Nearly all players would utilize this feature if offered on at least one of their characters. Many would use it on multiple characters.

My suggestion would be to have more/cheaper access to this if the player was a subscriber.

yeah, at least 3 of my characters would be utilizing a change of some sort.

I whole heartily agree that subbers should have it cheaper or some other thing that makes subbing an incentive. But also to make sure that things that would be considered simply accomplished in the real world (hair style/color/) would just be used via in game credits.

Maybe have it that if you are F2P you have to pay with Cartel Coins to unlock access to the "barber shop" portion and Subscribers just pay credits. But for any Major cosmetic surgery that would require the "Underworld Surgeon" , would still require a voucher from the Cartel Market, coin price lower for Subs than F2Pers

  5. When this game launched I wasn't a big fan on many of the hair styles. What I feel this game needs is a Barber Shop and/or something the lines of an "Underworld Surgeon" who can change the your character's facial features, body style...etc this way there is some sort of in game "reason" why you look different.

*You could spend cartel coins to get a voucher or item of some sort that you would allow access to the shop. This voucher would be able to be traded on the GTN like many of the other unlocks and items currently available.

    * Simple things like changing the hairstyle or hair color of a character could just be another Credit sink in the game, whereas utilizing the services of the surgeon to make drastic changes (removing scars, changing facial type...) would need that Cartel Market Voucher.

just my two cents, anyone feel free to comment and maybe we could refine this idea!

    Imperial Officer-

The only arrival code we've received is for Imperial Starship 2423T6H3L5, Pilot Lieutenant Commander Ina'irolia'kleoni, of the Chiss Alliance.

    "But...I AM a Chiss! :( "

  7. This has been happening in PvE as well, though not as frequently as it does in PvP, Warzones predominately.

    interesting note though:

It happens almost like clockwork on my sentinel when dpsing a Training dummy. If I spam an ability via a keybind the GCD keeps skipping. I'll have to casually push one button as soon as the gcd is up in order to get anything accomplished.

  8. It's been datamined that Fist Weapons exist as a weapon category, as well as 2 other Flashpoint/Operations, not to mention all of the multitudinous enhancements and mods that exist artefactually but can't actually be gained. Just because it exist in the code somewhere does not meant that it exists within the confines of the game. It just means that, at some point in development, it used to exist and no one bothered to completely clean up the remnants.

After reading this all I could think of was:

"Don't be too proud of this technological terror you've constructed. The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force."

XD But in all honesty, Kitru's right. Just because there is something lurking in the code doesn't mean it's actually there for an intelligent reason.

    *note

I wasn't sure what category this should have been filed under. It's legacy gear, though the description for that drop down states that the gear comes from the vendors on the capital planets. But then it's also quest rewards from a limited time Live Event... :/ This also has a "Social 1" Requirement (but no level requirement, not sure if there was a place to put that info in if this had a higher social requirement)

  10. no no no no, you keep at this! I'll be sumbitting a bunch of my gear sets soon! (I've just been too busy lately D: )

    1) your website has a better/more memorable name.

    2) yours looks SOOO much better!

    3) many other reasons but that would get tedious to name them all. ;)

    Edit:

If / when you make a database for pets let me know...I'm an avid collector and would love to send some in!

  12. I'm getting excited about this. I was never a fan of how Tor-Fashion was just kinda all jumbled together and you had to just scroll through the mass of images and names hoping to find something interesting. (also praying it was for your faction or class) Having it all organized and searchable as you've shown us is a marvelous idea and I would be more than happy to submit as many sets as I can! I'm going to sub to this thread so I can keep an eye on this project and help whenever possible!
  13. I was having a issue almost identical to yours with my card and all, I would even get the "pre-auth" dollar put on my card and everything. Possibly somehow EA couldn't talk to my particular bank for a confirm that the charge got placed? I doubt it. How I got around it was just using the card through paypal. Why that should matter? I have no real idea besides EA having issues or something on their end. :/
  14. I'm surprised no one has mentioned that mitigation mods have power as their second stat, so by auging for mitigation you are still increasing your DPS and threat. Just by a lesser amount than auging with Aim.

I had completely forgot about that. (I just tend to look at the mitigation stat and not really worry about the secondary xD ) So yeah, even more reasons there isn't really a point to put dps augs into your gear. lol

  15. IMO if you want some extra DPS I wouldn't bother taking up your aug slots with the effort. (Though if you feel you must, put Aim Augs in.) If anything, moving a few skill points around could have a great effect. It's what I was running with until our dps finally got up to snuff to try to help out as much as I can.

    31/8/2

So instead of going the usual route of putting those last 3 points into "Soldiers Endurance" you put them into "Blaster Augs" and most importantly "Heavy Stock"

But of course, if you were already running that build, then I guess using your aug slots is the only other thing left to you besides flat out using dps gear :D

  16. I'm glad the question regarding features discussed at the Guild Summit came up. But you know, we still don't have a simple "Ready Check". I thought the complete shock the panel of Devs displayed at the summit would have hastened its implementation.
  17. Actually, there is multiple in this game already:

Just to point out a few...

    Night at the Roxbury:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBfgXqQyprY

    Also more recently..

The Hologram during phase 1 of the Puzzle fight in TFB is named "Master Control" Well since we are in a computer during that fight you can safely assume that he is a program, thus named "Master Control" (Program) The main villian in the original Tron movie (not legacy) was also a computer program named "Master Control Program"

They're in this game, you just got to look around. ;)
