  1. I love how popular this thread has been, and similar threads since 2.0 yet the devs seem to think nothing of it. Its really sad that more community members have come up dozens of decent ideas to re balance this class and yet we aren't even getting a nod in our general direction.

     

    It is because they do not play this class, so that is why they could care less about fixing it. The sole person who does class balancing has admitted that he plays sniper and pvp's on an assassin. Coincidence that snipers are the best dps class out there? I think not.

    Have not run this spec a lot and need to work on getting retractable blade back up asap after the dot falls off. Also I did not use any adrinals so if I get some I am sure I could get higher with added adrinals plus getting better at reapplying the bleed. Also I am still running dreadguard power click relic and a crafted implant non augmented, so I could bump it up even more by replacing those 2 pieces also.

  3. On the 2.0 patch notes it mentions the following.

     

    General

    The Carbonite Chamber and Life Day Orb have been updated to reflect changes to the rest and recovery mechanics.

     

    It looks like the devs forgot to update kolto tank too. When using it, my resources(heat, force ppol, etc) to not regen properly. Carbonite chamber works just fine, but not kolto tank. Fix it please.

    Does not look like AP or Pyro will be getting anything changed since the 3/14 patch. Appreciate that we finally got a response, but not what I was hoping to hear.

    Yes we did nerf powertechs and to stop the Powertech players from unsubscribing right now we are going to lie to you and say we actually buffed ap and not mention that pyro is one of the lowest pve dps now, just slight ahead of assassins.

  5. pyrotech/assault spec needed a huge nerf , however that beeing sad, AP / tactics should have been buffed.

     

    Wrong. The pyro hybrid that used changed gauntlet is what needed a nerf as the dps in that spec was crazy, but Bioware screwed up and nerfed the cgc dot too. The need to roll back the cgc dot change. Before the cgc nerf on the pts, pyros who were not using the hybrid charged gauntlet spec were parsing right along maras and snipers, so the cgc dot nerd was really uncalled for and not needed.

  6. I ended up getting the mask on my 3rd pack. I probably should of saved it to sell but I ended up equipping it as it was one of the items I wanted. I could of cared less on the throne which I did not get. I also wanted the force master saber which I got and I also wanted the pink-purple crystal but got the endurance version which is not good for my sorc. Hopefully I can trade it for the power or crit version. I also got the blaster rifle and am unsure if I will sell it or use it.
  7. You can only get black hole implant schematics from reverse engineering the black hole implants. Each time you reverse engineer one you have a 20% to learn the schematic. And I believe if you try to reverse engineer an implant tha that was crafted by someone, then you have no chance to learn it.
  8. Sorry to answer a question with a question but which do you want, wait only 1 day until they try to and fail to fix the problem, or do you want it to take a few days and them to try to and succed on fixing this problem?

     

    I choose to wait 0 days and this could of happened if bioware actually tested their patches before pushing them live. This bug would of been spotted right away if they had truely tested this patch which means we would not need down time to fix because it would never have gone live.

  9. You are wrong in your calculations. They semi fixed the double dip bug. If you double dip each force lightning on the double dip now only does 2 to 3 ticks of damage, so you are actually only getting 4 to 6 ticks of damage on the double dip, not the 8 you are claiming. Also sorcs burst damage is quit a bit lower then a bunch of other classes now. The are not OP. They are more under powered then OP atm. It is actually pretty easy to kill a sorc.
  10. I noticed this with my companions too. My khem was at like 17.6k then in 1.2 he was 14+k. I unequipped his implants and ear, then reequiped those 3 items and his health was back to normal. I think this is a glitch and you need to do that for your companions each time you zone with one out or summon them.

    If I did not know what I was doing in my job and industry, I would be fired in a heartbeat, why should it be any different in their industry. If they truely do not know what they are doing or are incompetent, then they should be fired.

  12. They've stated their reasoning for PVE purposes, didn't they? Claiming Sorcs were too powerful and the reason for making nightmare modes simplistic. All because of a bug.

     

    One bug that made PvP healing = God Mode* for sorc healers (*Usually, unless there were a competent melee on the opposing team) and made healing Nightmare modes extremely simplistic. (coupled with the somewhat infinite Force supply)

     

    The thing Bioware needs to respond to is this (and only this):

     

    PVP: How do you think removing a Sorc/sage's only burst heal (1.4 dark infusion from resurgence) makes them Balanced with other healers who have shorter cast times on their "big heal" and higher output on their 1.5 second cast heals in a rated Warzone . (Which is clearly Biowares PVP focus)

     

    That change/question alone is the reason you won't see Sorcs/sages in Rated WZ's.

     

    From what I have read in previous threads, people are claiming the reason the 1.5 second Di is gone from resurgence is because the devs can't figure out how to leave that on the resurgence AND get rid of the double cast glitch. So if past posters are correct, they put this nerf in not because of class balance but because of that issue and I hope its true and they find a fix for it and put the reduced cast time for DI back on resurgence, but that is just what I have read in other posts/threads and it could be either true or false.

  13. I am pretty sure I have seen speed hacking in hutball. Last night an opponent had the ball and was running at the speed of my force sprint and it lasted the entire time he had the ball, not just the 2 seconds that force sprint lasts.
  14. Which crew skills would be most benneficial for a sith sorcerer. Also, is slicing worth doing? I was thinking of doing the slicing then a crafting skill and the mission one for which ever crafting skill i chose, that way I can craft blue and purple and skip the green quality gear.
