[Server Lag of 20k every minute]

It seems to happen around 6 PM EST on the dot every time, but it's back to being fine again in the morning. This sounds like it's my ISP, but none of my other internet activities suffer like this.

Anyone else having this issue? Seems to have started within the last month. Ping will be fine, then it will spike, then be fine, then spike again, all without actually disconnecting me. I've shut down every other program running, used network tracking software to look for other culprits, reset my modem multiple times: none of it helps.

[Crafting Trainers Mission]

I'm having the same issue. I picked up Armstech, Slicing, and Scavenging. Talked to the Armstech trainer and learned the two recipes, and it didn't complete. No amount of relogging, dropping the quest, and or skills, and then picking them back up again seemed to help.

Yeah just raged quit the game uninstalled and everything. Tried the boss a few times myself with no luck. Left and finished off some other quest I had, upgraded my gear and T7's and went back after a guild mate told me just to push him down the stairs. Tried again today and I'm done. I tryed the stair thing, he just pops back into his room and takes little damage, sure I'm not doing it right. Spent nearly 200k fixing my gear so Im broke now and can't fix my stuff any more and if that wasn't enough randomly I would spawn back at the ship and have to run pass all the trash again.

 

 

Not a huge mmo player, swtor got me to play because of the solo questing. I had 0 problem with any other quest in the game. Think I died less then a dozen time before this boss. This killed my urge to play any more, why invents the days it takes to get through the story only to have this happen. Bye Bye SWTOR.

Well, I understand your frustration. I'm treating SWTOR as a single player game as well. However, I just rolled a different class and hoped for the best.

I give up. I'll revisit this in a few months when they make some adjustments. It's sad though. It's my last quest and the completion of the entire story. The story is why I play.

If you go full tank spec, with all tank gear, you're screwed. That's all there is to it.

I'm willing to bet you are not using awe, and the two stupid abilities designed soley for killing trash. Keep T7 in damage mode as well, or he'll just fall over and be of zero use.

 

I had no problems with the pulls, so long as I went slow -- and my t7 hadn't seen the light of day since whatever level I got Kira.

 

 

Six seconds of crowd control just doesn't cut it. I'm a tank, not a damage dealer. I can't even solo an elite Imperial Guard Master without him wrecking me. I stun, I interrupt, I spend all my cool downs spread out so the damn thing barely has a chance to move, and yet he still destroys me in the end.

It's utter garbage. Each and every trash pull nearly/completely kills me. My T7 has no upgrades worth mentioning. I'm a level 50 tank-specced Guardian with max-modded gear. I can't even GET to the Emperor.
