  1. Dear Bioware/Devs/Community,

I have some positive suggestions to help improve game play that may make the playing experience better.

Also, I know that changes will take some time to implement, but make sure that your customer base has some idea of what you are "currently" working on. Information keeps customers happy.

    Crafting:

Crafting is a big part of the game, and I believe a few adjustments need to be made.

First, I would like to see a bonus for each crafting class that requires you to have crafting.

    Examples:

Slicing: Can make credits to buy gear (and it should be changed that you can have this or a crafting skill)

    Bioanalysis: Reusable medpacks/stimpacks/adrenals

The solution to me is to add something to the other classes that gives you an advantage for being that type of crafter.

I.E. Artifice: Has craftable item(s) that are 10% better than all other items at that level but requires artifice(xx) to wear. At 50 the item(s) should be hard to craft, but should be better than all gear in the game.

I.E. Sythweaving: Has craftable item(s) that are 10% better than all other items at that level but requires Synthweaving(xx) to wear. At 50 the item(s) should be hard to craft, but should be better than all gear in the game.

    ETC... for the other classes.

There is a reason why it should be better than all gear in the game and it will remain balanced. You will only have a few items that give you a "bonus" compared to other players. This will give you a slight advantage in that category. If someone else wants that "bonus" they can take up the same crafting skill.

Reduce the "nerf" on slicing by 10-30% and make it so "slicers" cannot learn a "crafting" skill - I do believe "nerfing" was necessary, due to the degree of abuse but perhaps it should be adjusted to a degree. Their advantage is being able to make money easier, but then that character will not be able to gain a crafting advantage. Yes I know they can have an alt and feed the main money and I'm not sure what to do about that one.

    Raid Gear/Heroic Gear:

Some people really like the way their gear looks and do not want to change to a default generic raid gear look. I believe I have a semi-simple solution.

Add loot to the bosses / mobs. This loot should be item mods, enhancements, etc (anything you can put into an orange item). When you collect all the item mods it should be as good as that raids'/heroics' gear.

    I like this solutions because:

    1. It's easy to implement

    2. People get to look how they want

    3. You still have to work to get your raid/heroics gear.

    Space Combat:

Add a heroic(2) space missions. There are already missions where you see a "wingman" flying in front of you. Why not in the future allow a friend to be that "wingman" and make the space combat harder and rewards better.

    PVP:

Allow ops groups (8) to que together for PVP. This will promote being in a guild/group and some friendly guild rivalry on servers should arise. Go Frogdogs!

My only caveat is this. While doing the programming attempt to match a pre-made vs a pre-made first. Allow something like 2-5 minutes for this before allowing a pug team to go against them. This will make things much more pleasant and enjoyable for everyone.

    LFG:

A topic that is often fought about. My suggestion is to add a new global chat /4 (LFG). This will help reduce the # of people spamming the general chat and will keep LFG chat where it belongs. People already have the ability to turn off and on chat channels and to make new windows, so people wishing not to see this chat can simply turn /4 off.

    In Closing:

I know this post will not fall on deaf ears and the community will give thier POSITIVE imput. NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS on this thread please, instead let us focus on just positive feedback/suggestions. This is "our" game to play together, let us give Bioware and the devs some great ideas! They have the tools to make it, we have the tools to play it!

    Let have some fun!

  2. Dual spec is just a quality of life item similiar to mounts. They already have credit and time sinks involved for acquiring mounts. I'd just say to give dual spec a lofty goal. Req. level 50 and 2,000,000 credits. The way its set up now if someone really wants to respec constantly its just going to be a time and money sink so make acquiring the feature exactly that.

I agree. There should be some sort of an "item" that stores your specialization. Perhaps each "specialization" token would cost 1 mil credits.

    Just a thought.

  3. Eve does not, and has not ever, run on a single server. I don't know why people claim it does. They have hundreds (or at lest did when this was written in 2008):

    http://massively.joystiq.com/2008/09/28/eve-evolved-eve-onlines-server-model/

Eve Has HUNDREDS of BLADES (Servers). While everyone is in the same "zone" people most areas have their on BLADES to support the sheer amount of people in 1 area at a time. Some areas have 1 BLADE dedicated to 1 "system".

  4.

Very cool! I wonder if they keep that almost 24/7 with when Europe and the US Primetimes switch.

For those saying it's a "free" month.... Well, not really you paid $60-$150 bucks for the game. Other MMO's simply start charging for game time right away instead of a large upfront sum (Like EvE-Online).

This is not a "free" month. If anything the numbers will get stronger as "peer" pressue takes hold.

  5. * Over 60 million in-game hours – roughly equivalent to watching all six Star Wars movies over 4 million times

    * Over 850,000 Sith Warriors and over 810,000 Jedi Knights created

    * Over 260 million quests completed

    * Over 44 million PvP battles

    * Over 9 million space combat missions completed

    * Over 3 billion NPCs killed

    Kudos to BioWare.

Yup, this game should only get better.

  6. I have personally have found it very easy to level in this game. I have multiple charecters that are in the high 20's low 30's. I know if I would have focused on 1 I would have a level 50 already. I am a semi-casual player.

What you may not realize is that if you quest in groups (general questing) you get a LARGE xp bonus. I personally play this game to play with firends and by just doing regular quests in groups of 2-4 I was 7 levels above the "next" planet I was supposed to go to.

I did not hit spacebar, I have enjoyed all the quests, and am having fun.

Besides, when you hit 50 you can always play with another class!

    Also,

Why feel bad for them for playing the game the way they want to?
