These changes are really awesome... Thank you!
-
Really stupid idea.
-
it's a bug with the tooltip and not the ability.
unless you honestly think crushing darkness should hit for over 8k when it crits (for the first tick not the DoT)
-
Hopefully this get's fixed in 2.6...

Wow, I never anticipated this much discussion, but I'm disappointed that it seems nobody has actually run SWTOR using one of these 4K monitors. All the review seem focused on the latest FPS games.
I play in 1440P, that's not 4k but the difference between 1440p and 1080p is pretty much just a smaller UI and it allows more of the game to be displayed instead of UI.

Naga 2014 is much better than the g600
(mechanical thumb grid and clicky response)
I'd return the g600 if I were you, or get both.

Move speed reduced is to balance out the high absorb.
If you want high absorb the cooldown would need to do something like reduced damage output by 50%
-
Why would it reduce movement speed?
All absorb CD's in the game so far absorb like 4k-6k damage.
Are you wanting something that absorbs like 15k? LOL.
-
I'm catching up Marisi! but for now I'll be content with finally breaking the 4k barrier
Pizza'dah'hutt
Same Spec/AMR
Edit, so Falver, never got an answer as to how you're ranking these, is it strictly TTK, hence calculate DPS from TTK? or is it after the killing blow? just want to understand how you want it posted cuz torparse does some funky things with the auto-cropping
Just divide the 1m HP by the time it took to kill to get DPS.
-
-
Couldn't we just calculate the DPS from the TTK? It took you 4 min 15.563 sec to kill the dummy = 3912.93 DPS
That's something we could do for every parse, and it wouldn't be that much more inconvenient than the cropping we had to do with the old dummy.
This.

I'm pretty sure that you can get it running under a windows emulator (Wine?) or a virtual machine on a Linux box but doubt that you could get it running better than you could under a straight windows install. Windows generally supports the latest/greatest and widest variety of devices better than Linux does.
As for multiple clients - they don't even have a Mac version out there so there's no way they will make a Linux specific one. If they do make a Mac client some day it might be portable to FreeBSD which is very Linux-like...
Linux/Mac are both openGL so in theory they should release side by side.

Yeah go ahead and do that.
So my Sin will have 50% DR, with 57% shield chance w/ dark ward and 43% absorb.
I mean yeah, sure why not. It'll make Jugg and PTs useless. Why bring a PT who's got 50% DR but 30/30 for shield/absorb? Why bring a Jugg who gets to 52% DR with 30/30 shield/absorb? When you can bring a Sin who'd have 50% DR with 57/43 for shield/absorb? Times two cause you'd bring both tanks as Sin's with the same stats or close enough to the same.
Nevermind the fact that Juggs and PTs have less threat gen then a Sin-tank does. So why bring tanks that are more likely to loss threat to a dps then a Sin? Especially if the Sin has better mitigation then the PT/Jugg who generate poor threat?
Oh and to top it off, Can Jugg/PTs drop a little glowing field that lets healers heal for 5% more for 2 minutes while they sit in the circle?
Sin-Tanks are fine right now, it is a change that every Sin-tank will have to get use to.
Juggs/PTs have 43/42 shield/absorb
next point pls.

Just use a windows emulator.

WOW! well done lad! i haven't seen a concealment op/scrapper scoundrel make any ripples in the dps pool like this in too long.
Thanks, your infiltration/deception parse isn't bad either
-
And...DPS Scoundrel/operative nerf still going through with no comment/update by the developers about how they thought using cover wasn't part of the original design despite their boss publicly saying that it was *20 months ago*, and despite BW asking for feedback and receiving overwhelmingly negative replies.
GG devs.
Yeah it's ridiculous. My only way to escape a warrior in pvp is to roll once(or twice), crouch. So much for that.

-
Does that seriously work?
yes. .
-
If you're having trouble healing the droid/lightning phase you're in for a treat for the 6 fingers.

your GPU is fine
dont listen to players here that think a beter GPU card is beter
i have play this game ad mid/high setting with my old rig
now i have a new 1 after 5 years but stil in that time i play this game fine
it was a duel core E8400 3.0 GHZ
asus 6850 HD GDDR5 1 GIG
windows 7 ultimate 32 bit
4 GIG ram only
and my MS was only 28 in fleet warzones flash points and so on
but i do recommen dont instal windows 8 becouse its crap
most think new windows is beter but its not
alot think new things that come out wil be beter and wola instal it right away
and then they QQ ad forum why there game wont run
i see it so many times
when i was ROFL with my dam old rig and play with out trouble
bummer that windows XP wont be suported anymore
that was a good windows the pro version was very good
Windows 8 runs that game much better than windows 7 does. Take your misinformation elsewhere.
Or maybe ya'know upgrade to windows 8 and look at your 2-3 fps increase.
-
This game is pretty poorly optimized any upgrades you get aren't going to do much for your FPS.
I have an i7 3770k and a GTX 680 4GB I run at 2560x1440 and sometimes even my framerate drops into the 30's in warzones.

Treek was never a good healer.
