It proved that they don't know how to do it because they are not even trying. Not that it cannot be. I am positive that Bioware alone (the original Bioware not the EaWare), could pull it off. Now we'll never know.

 

I think the passion so many people have had for this game they created for so many years contradicts you adequately. Even were this game to devolve into something completely different than it began as (see the Combat Upgrade in SWG), it wouldn't make sense to say they failed to do it.

[Kaliyo Djannis Romance?]

So i have a problem because I paly an agent and want to romance kaliyo. But i am not geting the romance conversations. What i do wrong? I flirted with Watcher Two to but it it nor a realy romance option se i dont know what to do

 

Romance conversations progress based on how far you are in your class story, and how high your influence is with the companion (at least influence used to be a factor). She may just not be "ready" yet. Trek about the galaxy some more with her and you'll start to see the options appear.

All that aside, this community is poisonous. This game promotes this community as a good and helpful one, but in reality it is quite the opposite. Still, not a reason to quit, but we should not look away from this growing problem.

 

I've played since the game's original launch, with a couple of breaks, and I've never felt the community was poisonous. I don't spend much time on the forums, admittedly, but I can't imagine what you're talking about here.

[Being a healer while Companion does all the damage?]

With all this talk about maining healers, I wonder why I never see any. I struggle doing uprisings as the only tank of the group while everyone else is just damage. I don't how anyone can get through them without someone pulling all the aggro if they're all DPS.

 

Which is the main reason why I made a Sage though I also have an Inquisitor who will also be a healer. I assume I'm getting near the end of the Hutt Cartel DLC on my Inquisitor and wondering about just switching my discipline to healer at this point before starting the Revan stuff.

 

My Consular had been a Sage healer since launch. Recently (less than a month ago), I switched him to DPS. On the server I'm on (Jung Ma) finding groups to heal is painfully slow or impossible, at least at the hours that I play, and while it's *completely* doable to PvE as a healer and have your companion do all the heavy lifting, it's much, much slower. I miss being an awesome healer, but I don't miss spending twice as long to dispatch a group of enemies alone because of it.
