  1. Don't forget about other talents...

    3% less crit from lethality

2% less hp from inclement conditioning

3% less total damage .5 less energy regen with stim boost if you used culling. reworked in to 2 different tiers

    This is just completely unnecessary

  2. Props to Heavensbread, 692k healing DAYAM!!!! You get a few healers like that and you become a good team.....

Yes as I said I really need to take more screenshots I just never think to do it. I am usually more around 350k in damage but yeah heavenbread is in my guild and he is always dishing out that much in heals.

The reason I had so much in that game was well we completely trashed them and it was a stalemate as far as doors goes.

We play against the top premades nonstop on my server and I do just as well vs them.

  3. I do great on my operative in any warzone. People who are bad with them are usually trying to do things they are not strong at like chasing a pack of sith inquisitors on the ramp in huttball.

In huttball I stick with what I am strong at. Picking people off who are making a difference in the game. If I notice a sorc/sage getting in to position for a pull or pass I'm cruising over there and murdering him before he can make his move.

A healer or ranged up top free casting away.. guess what I'm killing him.

With the amount of cc we have it's pretty easy to keep them off the ball in mid after a score.

If you are trying to run around on the ramps chasing people with knockbacks you are doing it wrong.

I truly feel like I contribute to my team winning every game. I typically have at least 350k damage a lot of times 450k+ with 40+ kills and I rarely die maybe 3-5 at the most per game. Stats doesn't mean anything if you are mindlessly running around killing random people, but I get these stats while always sticking to objectives.

PICK OFF CHERRY PICKERS!!! Don't let a sorc/assassin just chill in your base

As for the other wz's I can solo defend a node in civil war and hold them off until help arrives.

In void star I just trash people and ninja cap doors.

Operatives can be very devastating in the right hands.

This is not uncommon for me http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/215/screenshot2012021823442.jpg/

I really need to start taking more screen shots bc I could have hundreds of screen shots just like this one even in huttball and yes this is post nerf.

  4. "We have very measurable statistics that tell us if people lose a certain number of Warzones in a row being stun locked by a team of Operatives, then that might be part of that, and they will be not as likely to re-subscribe."

So now people are no longer stun locked?

  5. I am thinking at least on the republic side it will be a complete tank/heal fest. This doesn't work as well in huttball but in the other wz's it can dominate.

Here's for hoping guard will be toned down some for pvp about like the 30% reduced healing done, Guard should also be reduced by 30% for pvp.

I mean even in this interview he basically admits to nerfing operatives/scoundrels due to whining about them http://www.darthhater.com/articles/swtor-news/19979-guild-summit-interview-with-georg-zoeller

I do think operatives needed to be toned down but hell it was done before people even had their pvp gear as well as most weren't even level 50 yet.

He states it was not fun for players to be killed so quickly. But you know tank/heal fests are even worse. I would rather have an operative on my team with the former burst just so he can actually kill someone on a team of 3 healers and 2-3 tanks. That isn't very fun either.

  6. It's even worse for operatives since we are melee with no knockbacks. I tend to focus what I am strong at picking off all the sorcs/sages who try to cross over to my side to get into position for a pass or pull. They never see it coming and I can completely dominate them 1v1 as long as I position myself for when the knockback comes.
  7. depends on the fight but if you want to go with big burst

Acid blade before the use of ab and bs

    HS

    Lacerate

    BS

    Shiv

    Lacerate

I lacerate after hidden strike instead of BS just to get more out of my acid blade dot

If the target isn't at least at 30-40% by now pop a flash bang on him

go in to cover and use explosive probe

followed by BS (this can easily do 6k-7k total with ab)

I play my stun by ear.. it just depends on how the fight goes when to use it

    as well as cloaking screen

Try to have your shield probe up right before opening

Def try to have stim boost up at all times.

  8. Just another sage who thinks operatives are op.

I play an operative and I can't count how many times a scoundrel or operative have gotten the opening jump on me and I still trash them.

By what you are saying it really sounds like you have no knowledge of what it is you are fighting.

  9. Bad mercs are my favorite.. it's just too funny.

I open on a baddie with my operative... he stands up and starts the missile spam as I am in his face. of course I interrupt it so he proceeds to stand there while I stab him keeping in mind his health is probably at 40% by now. Ok the lock out is over so now I stun him when he goes for another and by the time he can manage to even get one off he is dead. He never even moves this entire time and what's funny is you know he is just standing there spamming that button for tracer missile.

  10. I have 3 very good powertechs in my guild whom I pvp in premades with a lot. I can beat every one of them 1v1 as long as I get the jump. If they catch me out of stealth I'm done though.

Make sure you don't jump in there too fast to reveal yourself. They have an ability for stealth detection.

Open on him with hidden strike of course and I will usually follow with laceration and backstab... hit them a few times before using any more cc's, once acid blade is gone use your flash grenade to see if he uses his cc breaker if he does stun him once his resolve bar is down a decent amount. This will give you time to dish out some damage.. also be sure to have your shield probe on right away after opening. Once he is free if he starts hitting you hard use evasion to remove dots and go with cloaking screen. Open again and he should be dead or pretty close to it at this point.

Being a melee class you don't really think about kiting others but in certain situations it's good to.

Watch for other classes defensive cool downs as well. For instance with knights and warriors they have very strong defensive cd's... when they use them just root and stay away from them or cloaking screen out if you need to.

  11. I've seen many powertechs break 400k+ in damage with at least 12 medals. Hell on my level 10 powertech I broke 300k lol.

Come to think of it I have seen every class in this game break 400k damage in a warzone. A class is only as good as the person playing it.

  12. Why in the hell does so much of the pvp gear for operatives have accuracy on it?

Am I just missing something here? Does accuracy do anything special for our tech abilities?

The **** is already at 100%.... Or is it just for my white damage rifle shot? If it is they are pretty much giving us the middle finger on our gear.
