  1. Self healing tends to be a weak point of sorcerers, even the ones specced into it as healers:

Unnatural Preservation - "Immediately restores x health to you. Cannot be used on others." It gets a 30% boost with the Dark Resilience skill.

Static Barrier/Force Barrier + Corrupted Barrier - "Your Static Barrier and Force Barrier heal you for 1% of your total health every second for as long as they last.

That ends up being around a 6k heal with the Unnatural Preservation (Before crit), 10% heal from Force Barrier + Corrupted Barrier (which includes having to do nothing for 10 seconds), and a very unlikely 30% heal from Static Barrier + Corrupted Barrier (It's pretty likely that it'll be broken by damage before you hit the 30 second mark).

P.S. that 6k Unnatural Preservation is a bit of a guess. I'm geared a little stupidly, but I'm at 5738 with mine. I'm not TOTALLY sure how much it'll go up once min/maxed, but I think 6k is a safe bet.

  2. Haha Nibbon, I was with that group you were beating on Tuesday. As much as I wanna blame connection issues (ughhh that night), I was really impressed by how you guys performed! Especially for a group in PvE gear! I really hope you're able to find the people you need, I hate to see a good guild fall on hard times like you guys have :(

  3. I'd have to say that my biggest paper cuts would be:

    1. Hood clipping on my Sith Sorcerer. The beauty of my blue robes are marred whenever my Sorcerer's inexplicably bald head pops out.

    2. Being told to leave the safe area in a war zone match before it'll let me out. This is particularly frustrating in the more intense matches.

  4. My guildie for kicked from a FP because he has 15k hp. He was waiting in that queue for 2 hours.

HM FP's are for gearing, you do them because you need gear. GEAR IS NOT AN ISSUE.

So because something bad happened to one person, the rest of us have to suffer with players who aren't doing their job?

    Deal with it or leave.

  5. I hate when CS pulls out the rug from underneath my argument. We added the 12 member, I put my request in expecting another 2 day turn around. 10 minutes later, CS contacts me, give me credits, watches me buy tab.

As they say at Staples, that was easy.

  6. For those who were asking: the Columi were one of the galaxy's ancient technologically-advanced civilisations, pre-dating the Rakata and the Infinite Empire. They're mentioned in one of the datacron Codex entries.

Actually the Columi still exist, but their civilisation isn't what it once was. Neither are the Columi themselves.... :jawa_wink:

    I see what you're doin here :mon_wink:

  7. Don't worry, this is actually a time period that, at the time, there was relatively little detail about, which means all she needed to do for research was watch episodes 1 through 3. Also, it deals relatively little with the Jedi, so you're not exposed to her ignorant views on that issue.

Though I would suggest, after this, you give authors like Zahn and Stackpole a shot. They're probably the most "star warsy" authors out there. Luceno's up there with them.

  8. Here's a question for everyone: Where are you getting the idea that Traviss Mandos are "overpowered"? When do they ever do anything that qualifies them as more powerful than a Mandalorian should be?

You mean aside from every Mandalorian and his grandma kicking Jaina Solo's - THE SWORD OF THE JEDI - ***? Now, I'm not saying Boba Fett wouldn't give her a good thrashing, but she couldn't even touch some random mando without disregarding her oh-so-useless years of training and experience, and instead using their clearly superior strategy of, "no man, you gotta try to hit them!"

  9. 1. My server's community

    2. The game play (specifically, no auto attack)

    3. More PvE, PvP, and quality of life content to exemplify the stellar community (on my server anyway. These general forums are terrifying) and the gameplay.

  10. You can change as soon as you start a new character. Takes about 5 minutes.

What you are witnessing is people taking advantage of the more useful and arguably more powerful IMP attacks and specials. Its just the way it works out, and the people on the imp side are pvp freaks, youre probably facing the same people over and over who have headsets and hold each others hands all day.

We don't have better attacks or specials. We're just better.

P.S. Actually, I'm on a server that has an amazing group of pvp'ers on both sides so that there's actual competition. I just wanted to pretend to be a snotty imp player. But yeah, the classes are the same.

I really hope this comes someday. I would LOVE for one or two of my toons to be able to defect to the other side. BW wouldn't need a new story or anything, just lock it to lvl 50s or at least those who have already completed all of their class quests.

    But what about future content?

  11. I'm genuinely curious as to why Bioware should care that you made multiple characters scattered across various servers. And I'm even more curious as to why you think Bioware should go out of their way to reunite your characters that you created across those scattered servers.

    Absolutely this^

  12. While I love some of these ideas, I don't think they'd work in this particular game. It'd be like the opposite thing that happened with SWG NGE; they took one VERY sandbox game and tried to turn it into a themepark. There just wasn't even of a structure to support both of those systems, and I feel like that'd be the case for this game as well.
