  1. Only thing I wish to see here would that whatever is optainable in the cartel coin shop also has a way to be earned or gotten by ingame methods. I really dont want to see exclusive cartel shop only perks of anykind. Makes me thing of the way SOE implemented the swtcg game add on the SWG and ruined the way many items was gotten by making them tcg exclusive. I hope bioware has the foresight to avoid that disaster.
  2. PVE has allways been by primary focus in any MMO. Just a personal preference. I do pvp from times but generally it have to stop once the dramma starts in pvp groups. Seems there are allways peeps that cut other down for not being uber enough or as great as they are. Thats the turn off for pvp to me and I really wish it didnt happen in these games as the way I see it some peeps forget it is just a game.
  3. Hi Rogoo,

As mentioned in the blog post, we will be maintaining server types. So it will be RP-PvP to RP-PvP.

So let me get this right. Guild deplyment was pooly implemented at launch and we were handed severly unbalanced servers between factions. Alos as a reslult many in my guild have rolled on a pve server or stoped playing. So there is no chance to move our allready max level characters to join what few remaining friends I have left from other mmo's on a different server type. I dont buy it I need a good reason why you wont allow it.

If there is any chance this will be handled like Guild deployment at launch there is nothing you can say to reassure me the same nightmare unbalanced server placement wont happen again. I remember reading the idea was to help forge communities and reuinte friends but this news is quite contrary to that.

  4. I would like to ability to transfer to a PVE server from a PVP server. I followed the majaority of my guilds desire to play on a pvp server and we followed Biowares guild placement. Little did we know at the time that guild deployment was poorly implemented. We went from the population being severly unbalanced between the 2 factions to now it seems to be a dying server. I see no reason at all why we should not be allowed to transfer from a pvp to pve server or vice versa.
  5. We need this but only if the log only shows each of us our toon and whatever npc or player we are in combat against. It would be usefull to know what we are getting hit with in certain pve situations to help us figure out strats and such. However if it's implemented in way as such the all party members are shown and it opens the door the griefing by elitest players the idea should be scraped and not introduced at all.
  6. In a response from customer service in a ticket I filled about this very subject. I was told Sith players were allowed to as they pleased. In no way was that a good response to the question of balance. It has made me look at from Biowares official response tho and I'am allowed to do as I please so I gave up. I no longer go to Ilum and suggest anyone else who plays Rebuplic primarally does the same. If we aren't there and then they cannot complete thier dailys then maybe Bioware may do something to balance Ilum. I really dont see it happening till then tho. As long as Republic players are a minority nothing will get done but interfer with the majority of the players base not completing dailys then I bet something gets done. Just my humble 2 cents.
  7. SWG was far better in these reguards.

    1. No need for pvp and pve gear. 1 set of fully moded gear did it all.

    2. Appearance tab. nuff said there .

3.Pvp was alot more fun game wasn't all about stuns.

    4. Space! Best space game ever made. What this game offers is so under the bar I no longer try and fly the space misssions cause it's not flying.

    5. Space parts. swg's space part reverse enginering gameplay for crafters was awesome for gearing up in space it's allmost unacceptable that this game wont even let a cyber tech re a space part for better schematic.

  8. What does Bioware expect? Since balancing pvp or placing a faction cap in the zone on Ilum to insure at least some fair and even fights are not needed accourding to them. I seriously dont see the problem any attempt to stop part of the problems on Ilum without completely fixing all the problems is just another half hearted attempt by a mmo game company to fix things. Like we as a playerbase need to see things like that again./sigh
  9. 1. The ability to select what pvp zone I que up for. Prolly asked for before now but I haven't seen it. Reason being I'm not a fan of huttball.

    2. The ability to select what medical center I respawn at in the open world. Reason game sent me the same unguarded outpost I was killed at to begin with then I was repeadly camped. I dont mind pvp servers or pvp but camping players when ya outnumber them anyway at a respawn point has no point in this or any other mmo IMHO.
