    I know that many of you were wondering about the release of Galactic Seasons 3 in particular, and I’m happy to share that its release is targeted for this upcoming update. We’re looking forward to sharing additional details soon, so be on the lookout for more info soon!

     

    As stated in an earlier dev post, there will not be a phase of PTS for this update, however, please see the 7.1.1 Balance post that Chris Durel created that offers more insights into our plans for class balance changes. If you have any feedback, we encourage you to share your thoughts in the linked thread.

     

    We also have seen the feedback players have provided for the R-4 bosses. The team is focusing on making adjustments to the following for 7.1.1:

     

    • Reducing IP-CPT’s health on Veteran so the DPS check isn’t as demanding
    • Adjusting the difficulty in the Overgrown Hallways to be less deadly in Story Mode
    • Reduce Lady Dominique’s health slightly in Story Mode
    • Damage from Nihrot is no longer reflectable
    • Nihrot suppression grenades should no longer get caught up in the ceiling tentacles
    • The issues some players are experiencing with IP-CPT falling into the floor

     

    While these seem to be the most common reports we are seeing for the bosses, we do welcome additional feedback. If you are reporting difficulty you are experiencing with any of the R-4 bosses, please also include details of the gear you are using.

     

    Lastly, access to the Collector’s Edition vendor has been highly requested over the years, so we are creating a path for players to access this vendor with the purchase of an access pass that can be obtained from the Cartel Market. Once the item is consumed, it will unlock the ability to speak to the CE vendor, grant access to the VIP area where the vendor is located, and it will unlock account-wide. Below are the items that are available on the vendor:

     

    • 7 companion customizations (Ashara Zavros, 3x Deshade, Kaliyo Djannis, Mako, Vette)
    • 5 pieces of the Imperial Trooper armor set
    • 4 Dye Modules
    • 3 Pets
    • 2 Statue stronghold decorations
    • 1 'Scanner' helmet

     

    We will share more details about Game Update 7.1.1 in future forum posts and articles, so stay tuned for more!

    so why the frack did i buy CE game and paid dollars for something that now everyone can get ...or am i missing something 

  2. then maybe you should test pvp, its all i do and i am losing two definsive abilities due to utilities being removed, this is galaxies all over again, cater to the softies and dumb it down so hardcore players leave.

     

    I have tested the sentinel (combat) and even though there are a few abilities I would like baseline, most of the changes were fine for my playstyle. I am not a pvp player, never have and never will be, so the changes I tested were fine. I did a variety of things but I also went and updated my gear to what it is in live to give it an accurate test for my playstyle.

     

    I did not have any problmes with killing the npc, even though doc was at rank 1 when he is actually at rank 50 on live, so I figured if I can survive and kill what I need to and do the activities I normally do, then there is a big chance it is not as bad as some are claiming and even some of those that are not happy, have actually stated they did not test it, they just read the changes and just assume how bad it was.

     

    As I said, there are a few abilities, that might need to be baseline but there are also some abilities people claim everyone uses but yet there are some I rarely use so for me it was not a big deal. And before anyone gets bent out of shape and tells me to learn how to play or something in that regard, I know how to play and have done some operations, but I don't do pickup groups.

  3. The problem with that is there is no average with it mate.

    It's just Random.

    You opened all those & got nothing.

    Player A: Opened one hypercrate & got one.

    Player B: Opened one pack & got one.

    Player C: Opened 8 hypercrates & still doesn't have one.

     

    It goes on.

    Not trying to rain on your parade but as my first post states, you're better off making credits & buying it when the prices regulate. It is just a flat out gamble.

    You could open another 10 hypercrates & never get that pike, but you'd be out of a lot of RL cash trying for it. Which in turns just fuels BW's cash market.

     

     

    i have 11 crates to get a defiant saber 18 to get a arbiter ....plus a ton of hc's before that ...not to mention a certain amount of heroics ......out of this i have over 700 millon credits...its not the credits

     

    its fun to see how many of reply to this as if i started playing yesterday ....maybe its because of the choice of words and build of sentences ....english is not my first language ...norwegian is.

  4. Because they get away with it.

     

    I don't have a real problem with microtransactions. Not a big fan of them either, but if they're implemented right, okay. Meaning that if you can buy items directly, it's kinda okay(as long as these items are not game breaking). But this gambling shi*t here never was good, but by now it has gotten so out of whack it's not even funny anymore.

     

    they way they advertised the pike i almost thought they would have made it so you could purchase it on the CM.

  5. 5 hypercrates and 1 supercrate, earlier i have 6 hypercrates and 1 supercrate wich brings the total to 11 HC'S and 2 SC's

     

    i got 65 grand chance cubes from this round.

     

    not one of senya's lightsaber or pike dropped, can anyone of you that actually got a pike or lightsaber tell me how many you had top buy to get the damn things.

     

    im trying to do the right thing here, i understand why there's credit sellers. with the amount of money i have spent on buying the cartel coins i could have purchased credits from spammers and i could have bought several lightsabers and pike's off of the GTN

     

    EDIT: IF YOU WANT TO TELL ME HOW STUPID I AM FOR POSTING THIS AND THAT IM GAMBLING AND ITS MY OWN FAULT BLA BLA BLA ETC ETC ...don't.... just simply answer how many did you have to open to get yours ....

  6. The only thing that makes sense is that the intent was to lower them to 75% of their previous effectiveness. Instead, they reduced them by 75%. Which, no matter much the elitist snobs around here claim otherwise, is just asinine.

     

    So it simply has to have been a simple miscommunication with the coding team. How it got past internal testing, that's a complete mystery. But my brain refuses to acknowledge that they intended to nerf them this hard, especially while they also go about claiming the reduction was, at worst, minor.

     

    i really like how the second reply here is claiming its fine when he plays a tank, we have had guildies check this over and we go one of the comps to crit a 5k heal (i think) on Cz-198 and she could not keep up with the heals

  7. i've just tested my companion she is ranked at lvl 50 and her strongest heals are now at 4.5k, in your patch notes you still stated that we would be able to do heroic 2+ with our companions as the number 2. i do not see how that is possible with this solid nerf you have done, as an experienced mmo player and survivor of SWG, i see the same nerfs done here. nerfs that destroyed SWG are done here did you guys not learn anything from what was done to that game whatsoever ? i sincerely congratulate you on destroying another star wars game, god job.
  8. i am in a guild now and its been a fun ride, but lately the guild management has started with progression teams and the way that's been handled has left a few people unhappy with the situation, i am one of them.

     

    im looking for a mature guild with a sense of humor a fine mix of male and female players that do run ops, that is a must since the reason for joining the guild was the endgame. also a guildship is a must.

     

    im fairly good not the best up there i parse around 3700 on a good night. (had one at 3970). (guardian DPS)

  9. entered at 247 waited 5-6 minutes to get in got to play 5-10 mins crashed and on my way back in i ended up at 449, i didn't whine and complain so much during early access but now ...the game is launched and they want my money hell no i have been fooled by lucas arts once all ready.

     

    they say they are monitoring this issue closely, well do they ? i bet they are waiting to see how many subcriptions they are getting, tonite i clicked on the exit button and i decided to play mw3.
