  1. First of all I would really like to say that I enjoy this game a lot and want to see it succeed. Here are a few things I think could be changed or improved to make the game better (in my opinion)

YouTube video for those who don’t like to read or like visuals:

    1. Damage from instant attacks should be instant regardless of the animation. The delay caused by the full animation going off before damage is dealt makes PvP very clunky especially when you already have latency involved. This also causes problems with abilities that have a positional requirement which is hard to maintain against good players. A set delay time is fine on knockback abilities to keep them from being too easy to use.

    2. Sprint (35% speed increase out of combat) should be on by default. I don’t know anyone that wants to move slower + having to keep turning it back on after every death gets tedious.

    3. Tooltips should be clearer about which attacks and spells you can’t use in PvP. Something like “Cannot be used on players” should appear in the tooltip to avoid confusion.

    4. Useable search feature in the Galactic Trade Center where you can type in the exact item you want without having to go through drop down menus and a bunch of other crap.

    5. “You must complete missions before you can do that” should be changed to “Your quest log is full” to avoid confusion. Many players including myself thought that we were not high enough level or didn’t do the right pre-quests to do certain quests. This was actually due to our quest log being full.

I made this thread to try and help improve the game, not to complain about it. I like this game a lot and hopefully these issues will get worked out in the future. Thanks for reading :D

Very good points. I'm on-board with all 5. *thumbs up!*

  2. Seriously? I got the pre-release last week, I've been playing a couple hours per day, and my max is only level 14. I've rolled a couple of alts that are around level 10 now so I could see the different play styles, but the leveling speed seems just about right to me.

    I agree with this.

I don't get more than an hour or two of playtime everynight so it's nice to level up once or twice (until higher levels).

  3. There are way too many posts that I feel the need to respond to, so instead I'm just going to boil down everything bullet-point style.

    1. If you have no interest in building a community, please don't play this game. An MMO, by its very nature, forces interaction with other players. You're welcome to run around and do everything solo if you really want to, but talking trash about people who actually care about the community is callous and rude. Just because you don't care doesn't mean other people shouldn't.

    2. Auto-group tools kill communities. There is no accountability when a new groupmate is a click away.

    3. There is no, "Just don't use it," when talking about LFG tools. When a community has become saturated with a tool, not using it simply isn't an option. You either use it, or you don't get groups. Even if you don't want to use it, you still have to, because there just aren't enough players around who refuse to use it.

    4. The current LFG tool is fine. It could stand to be a little more easily accessable, but it's functional and unobtrusive. The problem is that nobody uses it. Instead of crying that there's no LFG tool, take the time to spread the word about the one that's available, and make use of it yourself. In time, it may actually become a well-seasoned tool that everybody can use.

I agree with everything you've stated!

So far I've ran a few of the flashpoints with random people using the current LFG tool and general chat spams. The longest I waited was 5 minutes. Bottom line is that I made about 9 new friends that I run regular flashpoints and quests with now. With the server populations being so high, I don't have any problems finding 3 other people to run a flashpoint.
