  1. I must say i'd be glad having such a tool for my PERSONAL purpose (test spec, etc... I'm a sentinel and i find it hard to believe that no one has an idea of with spec is the best for pve / pvp in terms of dmg).

People doesnt want it to be a tool to point other players dps ? Fine !! Just give us intel on OUR OWN dps / heal at least.

I wouldn't mind this. It's important to know how you are preforming if you want to get better. As soon as you post the information to other players, it becomes an internal competition that hurts far more than it helps. I don't care if the guy I'm with has poor dps if he's at least trying to do his job.

  2. if you have SG ready to go you can maybe kill one of those guy but it would take like 2 minutes since you would be only doing unload or power shot while spamming heals w/ koltoshell + healing scan bonus armor acting as a barrier between you and death. If 3 people havent killed you in 2 minutes however; the three are doing a lot wrong.
  3. With a release this bad, they'll likely break the game further trying to "fix" things or make further excuses. The game will then go F2P.

    Talk is cheap.

This is bad? Most MMO's would count this release as "good". SWG had an awful release day, WoW was laggy as hell everywhere you went. Conan had game-breaking bugs (the stats on items didn't actually apply to the character). If you read the patch notes, you'll see a lot of fixes and while they are largely minor, that is because there aren't many serious bugs.

  4. I think WoW trained a lot of people who run "Heroics"/Instances to just AOE things down. They don't use CC, they don't mark targets, and they don't even coordinate their attacks.

They jedi leap out of my range, they break the CC I put down, they ignore my markings, and in general, they're a nuisance.

If you're trying to heal those kinds of players, you're in for a world of hurt. It's excellent experience because you're in a constant panic trying to manage your resource bar while "curing stupid". It's not, however, fun.

This is especially good practice as a BH healer since you have to manage your heat and procs correctly or someone is going to die. It is, as you said, stressful as hell though.

  5. Game launched and went live 4 days ago.... where have you been?

You are playing a pre-release version of the game just like the rest of us. The game doesn't come out til the 20th and as such we are being given the privilege of playing early since we pre-ordered the game.

Unfortunately, the pre-release is missing a number of features that are considered standard and there are only 2 days left to add them and make sure they work with the general populous before the official release complete with midnight release.

Edit: CadeAssant, it is possible to force it on, just not recommended since it eats frames like nobodies business in it's current state.

  6. *anti-signs*

WoW did the same thing with really strange stats it wasn't until the casualization of the game that they started to add stuff like spellpower.

So the players should simply be ignorant of stats that are in the game and directly added rather than derivative? You get these around level 15+ and unless you ask around from someone who has managed to work it out, you won't ever know if the stat is any good (see power vs crit discussions, if people knew exactly what power did, it would be self-evident which you should stack).
